Cloe and I sat close together in a booth at this adorable off the beaten path diner. She had opened up to being more open about her sexuality and would allow me to touch and kiss her in public. On the edge of the table sat a gift bag. I told Cloe to open the bag. It was a surprise for her.
She carefully pulled the white tissue paper out and pulled the strings out. Inside was a little note that said "let's go on spring break somewhere hot and sexy." Cloe looked at me and said "really" I smiled and replied "yes, I booked us an adorable private bungalow on an island off the coast where we can make love and work on our suntans."
Cloe leaped forward and kissed me and hugged me. Then she asked what the strings were and I said "oh that is your swimsuit." She blushed.
We were almost finished with lunch when a tall dark haired woman approached us. Cloe looked up and said "oh Professor Shultz, how good to see you."
The large woman said "oh you two Cloe. Who is this with you?"
Cloe blushed and said "a friend of mine that helps me out with things occasionally." The woman didn't seem satisfied with Cloe's response but went on her way.
I told Cloe not to worry if anything came of it, I would take care of it, and all would be well. Cloe loved her music and loved college, but she knew with the strict Christian doctrine she would be in trouble for her relationship with me.
Two days later Cloe got a summons to the dean's office. I told Cloe that I would take care of it; just go on like nothing happened. She was nervous, but I knew exactly how to take care of this issue.
I dressed in my best business suit and headed to the office of the deans. The head dean Mr Rague greeted me as I came in. He asked me what he could help me with and I informed him I was there in regards to Cloe.
Mr Rague said "oh do you know what she is being accused of" and I replied "yes, I was out to lunch with Cloe when we ran into Professor Shultz. You know as well as I do that it was a friendly hug and nothing more. Cloe is an upstanding student with great grades and excellent manners. I also know the firm that manages the endowment funds very well, ya know my firm, I suggest we make all this nonsense go away and Cloe return to good graces of the college."
Mr Rague stood up and offered his hand and said "As good as done. Cloe has nothing to worry about here." I smiled back at him and let myself out the door. Cloe received a letter by carrier that afternoon cancelling her request to the Dean's Office and informing her it was a mistake. Cloe had a big sigh of relief.
