When I entered our private dining room I found David and Lorenzo standing in the corner in conversation. David's arms were crossed, and he didn't look happy. David gave Lorenzo a nod of dismissal and he disappeared.
"Why must you embarrass me like this!" David's accusation was directed towards me. It appeared Lorenzo had gone to David with the information I'd given him.
"Like what?" My sullen tone betrayed that I knew exactly what he was referring to, but at this stage, who cared.
"Lorenzo is my friend, you really think he would betray me to help you escape?"
I shrugged. "It was worth a try." I tried to sound flippant, like I hadn't just convinced myself I was free. Like I hadn't just been dealt a crushing blow. Like there wasn't a teeny tiny part of me that wasn't completely crushed. "What do you expect? You can't blame me for trying."
"I can blame you!" David's voice rose slightly and he paused to take a deep breath before continuing. "I can blame you! You are the one who did it! You are the only one to blame! And our deal's off now!" so much for a deal being a deal.
"Me? If you hadn't kidnapped me, I wouldn't have anything to escape from! You are to blame! You're the only one to blame! You! Well, you and perhaps my stepmother--"
"Your stepmother?"
"For selling me to you, but even then, no. You. You took advantage of her greed and... other faults... but you. This is all on you."
"About your step-mother--"
"No, you--"
"Kass--"
"What are you going to do? Punish me?" I spread my arms. "Have at it!" David sighed.
"You two, out." He nodded to the guards. The blond one, Matthew, moved to the door I'd been through earlier, but the other one didn't move. David shot him a look.
"Uh, boss, this room isn't exactly secure."
"Thank you for your concern, Geoff, I'll be fine."
"Just don't blame me if you lose an eye."
"Heh. I'll give it to you as a prize if I do."
"Well, I'll think about if it will taste better roasted or fried." David chuckled at this, and Geoff headed to the door through which we'd entered when we first arrived. Soon both guards had left, one guarding each exit.
"No more escaping." David glared at me.
"Sure. Where next? It's everyone rape Kass night now, isn't it? Great incentive not to escape."
"Love--"
"Don't
love
me! 'Cos for a start, you fucking don't."
"That's not fair--"
"Fair! Don't you talk to me about ommph--" His lips on mine cut me off mid-sentence. For a moment, I melted in his arms. But it was just a moment. Then I wiggled my arms in between us, pushed him back and slapped him.
"You have a point," he said.
"Just one?" I crossed my arms and gave him a death stare.
"Aye. If the deal's off, then no incentive for you to behave. So, deal is on. But, only one more chance. You try and escape just one more time, then it's off. Deal?" He didn't want me to embarrass him in front of his friends. I might be able to take this further.
"No."
"No?"
"No. Deal is I don't have to fuck anyone I don't want to. That includes everything. No pussy, no arse, no mouth, no nothing!"
"No touching at all?" he asked.
"Not unless I want to. Which I probably won't." I gave a little shrug. David looked at me and was silent for a bit.
"Yeah, sure. If that's what you want. I can't guarantee mind, but you can direct anyone to me if they don't respect your wishes. But you must behave." His tone was level but his face looked somewhat defeated. Had I just won?
"Fine."
"And remember, you try and escape, and the deal is off."
"I remember."
Promises or no promises, the guards ensured I had no chance to escape when they took me back to the car and soon we were driving goodness-knows-where. We parked on the road and the guards escorted me out. The path to the house was long and dimly lit along the way, leading through the front garden and over a small creek. As we approached I saw the house was situated on a deep slope, sloping away from the road. We'd enter on the ground floor from our perspective, but there was what looked like two floors underneath. Already I could hear the deep base of music playing, but I couldn't see inside. All the windows had the curtains drawn, with the occasional chink of light spilling out here and there. Hopefully it was just the windows on this side, the other side of the house looked like it must have a hell of a view, provided much could be seen of it in the dark.
At the door stood a buff looking man who I guess was a security guard. David must have been known to him, as he opened the door just before we reached it and wordlessly gestured for us to enter. The music which I'd heard from a distance was louder now, spilling out the door into the night's air.
"You two might want to keep him company," David said to his two guards.
"We don't mind coming in," one of them said with a grin.
"Ah, I'm sure you wouldn't." David took my hand, led me in then closed the door behind us.
There was a short hallway, with a door to the right and an archway to the left, We went through the archway and found ourselves in a large room. Though physically large, it felt close and cramped. The music was loud, thudding through the air which was thick with smoke. I smelt cigarette smoke and incense, but I wondered if they might also be smoking something else too because it seemed like that sort of place.
The room was dotted with sofas and lounging chairs, many of which already had people draped over them. And draped over the people were... other people. Not far from me a woman sat with her legs spread, and she would have been showing off her goods to the whole room if it weren't for the two women knelt between her legs, licking and kissing her. A man sat next to her, paying quite a bit of attention to her breasts, which were very visible as her dress was pushed down to around her waist.
Off to the side there was a bar, with a topless woman behind serving drinks. There was also a long table near the bar with an assortment of drinks and nibbles already laid out.
A man approached us, making a beeline for David. He was tall and athletic looking. He wore tight trousers and an open front shirt which revealed a smooth, muscular chest.
"I'm glad you could make it!" he greeted David. His smile revealed very white, straight teeth. "And you bought a friend?" The man glanced at me briefly.
