Writers note: This is part one of a Letter/Email story. There is a part two from the wife's point of view and her reply to follow. It should be posted in the next couple of days.

The story is about a proactive husband giving his wife a choice.

There is also a 2nd chapter from the wife's point of view and a 3rd Chapter from Luisa's(John's sister) point of view, that will be in the normal LW format.

Sorry no sex in this story, it does have a loving husband and a loving wife and two good friends helping them out and finding the truth.

Corinne, my loving wife.

How's the holiday? Met anyone? You have been on the cruise with my sister, Luisa, for 4 days now. I hope you have enjoyed your time away, but, not too much I hope. By that I mean doing anything stupid, like being with another man.

Did you really think that Luisa wouldn't tell me about what you were doing? Or what you might be doing, and what you have been doing for the past couple of months? Yes, I now know about your lunches with that man from where you work.

Did you really think she and I didn't know a man named Robert Jenkins? Did you really think she would let you throw away 10 years of marriage? She loves you almost as much as I love you.

Did you really think my sister's suggestion that she go with you was a coincidence? I know I could have gone with you, in theory, but a man with a broken leg caused by a car accident, would be a massive hindrance to you.

By the way, Luisa has her colleagues in the Metropolitan Police looking into who was driving the van.

I know you argued well and for a long time, about my going with you. You obviously didn't want to go without me, so, you agreeing with Luisa to be your companion was obviously a compromise.

In the end, you saw reason and accepted that a holiday with your best female friend was a reasonable decision. Corinne, think, what does Luisa do for a job?

She is a detective in the Met police. It's her job to observe people and take note of what people do. She has been watching everything you have been doing for the past 4 days.

She has sent me several photos that concern me. The main photos are of you dancing with men you don't know, that by itself is worrying, but I nothing I didn't expect.

Don't worry, Luisa would have stepped in if she thought you were going too far.

After all, you are a beautiful woman and the dress you wore, the dress I bought you, looks beautiful on you. The blue evening dress shows off your curves beautifully and your long black hair falling down your back is also beautiful.

The photos show off your beautiful slim legs and with the shoes we bought together, the outfit looks stunning on you. I can also see the ear rings I bought you for your birthday.

I can see your engagement ring and wedding ring, and surprisingly the ring I bought you for our 9th anniversary. You must have been thinking about me when you got dressed that evening, even if you danced with other men.

All in all, you are a beautiful 35 year old mother of two young children. They say hi by the way. Katrina, is busy planning her 7th birthday party. You know she always plans ahead, even if she is 2 weeks too early.

She is looking forward to seeing you again. And, of course, Christopher is also planning his 6th birthday for later this month, I sincerely hope you are here for both of those occasions. Now, we come to the reason why I am not calling you.

You see, Luisa messaged me a couple of days ago. She was concerned that you might be getting too friendly with a fellow passenger, a certain Robert Jenkins. It seems he is on your ship and is eager to make your acquaintance.

It seems you have been leaving Luisa alone on a number of occasions. She, like any loyal friend, is concerned you are making a big mistake. I wanted to document this conversation, for future reference and to show you I tried to stop you making a mistake.

I wanted you to read my words and understand them, so, hence the email. I know you can read the emails on your phone. I would like you to show it to Luisa once you have read it and then I want you think about the content and reply to me once you have reached your decision.

More importantly, you have not been totally honest with me, Luisa, our children, our parents and most importantly with yourself.

What you might not know is that Luisa's husband, Gary, knows the captain of the ship you are on. Martin, the captain, and Luisa have been talking with each other and of course me since you set sail.

So, let me just say to you, you need to think very carefully about your next move. The man in question, the man you have been having lunch with at work and generally spending time with, is a single man called Robert Jenkins. Yes, I know who he is!

He is single because he has been married 3 times and he is a serial cheater. His 3 wives are after him for child support. He owes a lot of money to a lot of people, especially his 6 children from his 3 marriages.

I know he works in the same department as you. I know he has been recently appointed as part of your team. The fact you haven't told me about him or that, judging by the photos of him talking to you at the bar, he is at least 5 years younger than you, and you failed to tell me how tall and well built and good looking he is.

Luisa tells me you haven't done anything yet, in public, you have kept your distance from all the men on board except when dancing. To Luisa's knowledge, you have not done anything that would not pass the husband test, at least not yet.

However, it is obvious this man planned to be on this cruise. He obviously knows I'm not with you. It is also obvious that he has his sights on you.

It is equally obvious to Luisa that he is working his magic on you. Now, this is the important part of this email. If you fall to Roberts charms, I have instructed Luisa to speak to the captain and he will give you a set of papers. You can probably imagine what those papers are.

Luisa did say she could dispose of Robert before he gets to you, but I said no to her, and only do that as a last resort.

One thing is going to happen, the captain and Luisa are going to "talk" to Robert and depending on that conversation and how he answers certain questions involving you and him and his intentions towards you, it will seal his fate and yours.

Don't worry Luisa has told me nothing permanent will happen to him, after all he has all those children he needs to pay for.

So, to sum up, please be assured I love you very much, I will always love you and I will be fair in any divorce proceedings. Also, I will never stop you seeing the children.

The reason you asked for this cruise, and the idea was also for us to reconnect. But mainly it was to relax and recharge our batteries. It is unfortunate I couldn't go with you. I dearly wanted to, but this damn broken leg makes it almost impossible.

I'm still concerned about the car accident I had, the police are still investigating the accident, they are trying to trace the van that hit me.

So Luisa going with you was obviously a bit of a surprise, but you both get on, much like sisters. Yes she is younger than you, but I know you two get on well,.

So she was the obvious choice. On the grapevine from your company, I have heard Robert had booked some time off and he was going on a cruise. Imagine my surprise when I learnt it was the same cruise as you and Luisa were going on.

So, now you know how things stand. You have a choice to make,. You and Luisa can enjoy the rest of the cruise. You can do things as women do just not involve any men.

I trust Luisa 100%. I trust her to have a good time with you and you and her just relax and recharge your batteries. I also trust you to do the right thing.

I expect you to extract yourself from the mess you have got involved in. You have one chance to say goodbye to Robert with Luisa in attendance. After that, do not speak to or contact Robert. Do not warn him of the impending storm coming his way.

I want you to be the woman I love and the woman your children love. I want you to do the right thing. Luisa is there with you and she will give you love and support you. If you want to come home early and come and be my nursemaid, then please do so.

Just ask Luisa to talk to the captain and you and Luisa can be home in a matter of hours. So, Corinne, my love, do the right thing, make the right choice. Don't throw away our marriage. Don't throw away our love and break up the family.

When you get home we need to have a serious talk. We need to talk about where your head is and what you want from the marriage.

As far as I knew, I thought our marriage was in good shape. If you need to change something ask me. Do not go looking elsewhere for solace!

Anyway, the ball is in your court now. I hope you make the right choice.
