Words cannot describe Kacie's mindset as Brian sends chills throughout her tiny frame by having her toes in his mouth. She has Christie whispering ideas into her ear on how to possibly even the playing field between them, but nothing is working. Nearly everything he does feels so amazing to her it tickles, and she's reduced to a laughing fit in minutes!
Pushing against his forehead with one foot, she frees the other from his merciless sucking routine with an audible pop as her toes leave his lips. With little to no sensation left in her body, she slides right off Cindy's back and plops onto the floor, resting against the couch, leaving Christie in hysterical laughter and bringing amusement to Cindy once she sees what has happened.
"I told you you'd end up like her," Brian says offering her a hand up.
Kacie blushes with a smile, getting the feeling back in her legs. Rather than take his hand, she contorts herself in a way to allow her to bring her legs up from either side of him, under his arm, and plants both her adorable feet on his chest and shoves him back into a sitting position on the floor.
She smacks Christie on the leg, "You tricked me!"
Through more laughter, "I would never!"
"You just did!"
"I did not; I just made an honest lady out of you. You did say you were counting on it after all~"
"She's not wrong." Brian says in Christie's defense.
Kacie playfully sticks her tongue out at him. "That victory should've been mine."
"Victory? That was a competition?"
Christie quietly nods in confirmation.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better, you were close." A pouty smile forms on Kacie's face. "Better luck next time, assuming they actually invite me over again."
"You keep your promises, why wouldn't we?" Christie says.
He shrugs, "not a common thing, I guess."
"I'm surprised you weren't scared off by Ariel. She's kinda nuts sometimes," Kacie says.
Brian smirks to himself as he recalls Cindy referring to Christie the same way yesterday at the theater event. "Why would she scare me? If I understand her right, she was just doing what she does best."
"What if she does it again, but makes you pass out next time?"
"Then she wins her little game."
Kacie and Christie share a look with each other briefly.
"Besides, I didn't see any of you rushing to my aid, and y'all don't look like you could actually live with murder, so I just had a feeling I'd be fine no matter what she did."
"What do you mean we didn't rush to your aid," Kacie says, "we were all right here with you when she got off."
Brian chuckles, "Yeah, AFTER the fact. No one tried stopping her at all while she was doing it."
"I don't know about her," Kacie says referring to Christie, "but I'm small. I can't convince Ariel against anything she has her mind set to."
Brian ponders for a moment, and then looks to Christie, "you're persuasive. You could've got her to stop. Why didn't you?"
Being put on the spot doesn't faze her in the slightest way. "I had the same feeling you did -- that you'd be fine no matter what."
"Hmm." It's not quite the answer he was hoping for, but it suffices. "Guess I have your easy amusement to thank for that then."
"Well that and you're the first guy to make her faint. That was priceless."
"It was kinda funny really." Kacie adds.
"Glad I could provide some entertainment for the day," Brian replies.
"It was a nice change of pace. Thanks for including me," Kacie says to Christie.
"Anytime sweetie."
An off topic thought changes Kacie's facial expression. "Hey, what time is it?"
"A little after five," Christie replies.
"Ohhh, crap!"
"What?"
"I was going to take my computer to get checked out, but now the shop is closed."
"What's wrong with it?" Brian says.
"I think the hard drive is going out. Everything is like stupid slow. Tried to copy over some pictures last week and they took close to an hour to complete. I just don't remember it taking that long."
"How many pictures were you trying to copy?"
"Lots! I didn't count exactly, but lots."
"Is your drive full? They can tend to slow down when they get close to being full."
"It's like half full I think. It just doesn't seem right though."
"Well, if you want, I can come check it out for you. Save you a hefty service bill if anything."
"Seriously?! Oh my gosh that would be great! It's a pain to move that thing around anyway."
Brian chuckles again, "do you move it often?"
"Well, I clean up around it, and it's not exactly on rollers."
"I see. But yeah, I can check it out whenever you have time."
"Um, well, I'm not sure if you were going to do anything else tonight," she says to Christie, "but I was going to head out to do that soon anyway." To Brian, "any chance you could come look at it today?"
"It's fine by me if she's got nothing else on her agenda."
"Nothing we can't do another day," Christie says with a smile, "besides, I think you've earned a break for now," she says getting up off Cindy's back.
Brian gets up from the floor and helps Kacie to her feet as well. "I think we ruled out that I don't need much of one today, so call me back whenever."
"It'll be very soon I'm sure," Christie replies giving him a hug.
"Hey, cushion lady!" Kacie says with a pop to Cindy's butt cheek, "Where's my hug?"
Cindy let's out a high pitched giggle from the hit before sitting up.
Kacie sits next to her and gets her hug. "I'll miss you!"
"Mm, you too darling. It was so good seeing you."
