Chapter 5
Kim looked amazing! She twirled, showing off her beautiful gown. The black spaghetti strapped full length dress showcased a deep plunging V showing off her large bra-less bosom. A high slit showed off her great legs and her toes drew attention to her amazing tall black open-toed, laced up heels. The main event, however, was Kim's bare back. Her long dark hair hung down her slender bare back and stopped at the perfect location to spotlight Kim's amazing butt.
She accessorized it with diamond stud earrings, bracelets on both wrists, a matching black clutch, gorgeous green eyes, and a great big, beautiful smile!
Everyone in the restaurant applauded, accompanied by whistling and hecklers. Billy Bob yelled from the bar; he gives it a 10, a fucking 10!
Jess smiled and laughed in amazement at Kim's dress and overall beauty. She clapped excitedly for her friend.
Mark whistled. Shocked Kim could become even more attractive.
Charles stood next to Kim dressed to perfection in a newly tailored three-piece suit, loafers with no socks, an open dress shirt, and a very expensive shiny watch. He smiled as he watched Kim carry on.
Jess felt bad for him. He looked great, it was a shame Kim stole ALL the attention.
The host smiled and laughed. She too thought Kim was beautiful and told her so, as she showed Kim and Charles to their seats.
"Wow! What a great entrance!" Mark chimed, happy for Kim.
"I've never seen anything like that!" Jess smiled ear to ear trying to calm down after all the excitement.
"It's just a little something," Kim tried to play it down jokingly.
"I'm just the guy with the girl!" Charles laughed, admiring Kim again for the millionth time.
"You guys look great!" Jess said to Charles happily.
The waiter arrived and went over the day's specials. "What would everyone like to drink?" He asked.
Charles took control. "The ladies will have a bottle of the '72 Pinot Noir and two Glenfiddich Select Cask with two cubes each." Charles looked around the table to confirm everyone was ok with that. "Go ahead and double those up." Charles looked back at the waiter.
"Yes, Sir!" He replied. "I will be right back."
"So far this place is great!" Kim leaned across the table and told Jess.
Everyone agreed. They all watched an enormous Seafood Tower get served a few tables away.
"Should we get that?" Mark asked Jess.
"I'm not being picky tonight. The only thing I did not like on the menu was the muscles." Jess told her fiancΓ©.
Kim and Charles listened to their friends talk while browsing the menu.
"Does anyone mind if I order for us all?" Charles asked politely.
"I'm ok with that, I want a medium steak." Mark told Charles, knowing the girls were still deciding.
"Yeah, go ahead and pick something good for me" Jess told Charles.
"Anything but muscles for you" Charles looked at Jess confidently and let her know he was paying attention.
"Yes!" Jess blushed a little.
"You already know what I want." Kim confirmed her surf and turf choice for her husband after a discussion on the ride to the restaurant.
"Great!"
Drinks were delivered with the bread.
Charles took control and ordered for the table, individually. He impressed both Mark and the girls by ordering dishes and sides he remembered they liked. Some of the choices were from dinners or conversations from two and a half years ago.
Charles raised his glass and toasted charismatically, "I am very blessed to be here with all of you great friends and my lovely wife who means the world to me. I hope we all continue this path and become better for each other. We don't know where the road will lead, but we know it's filled with laughter and love and companionship. To many more years of all of us together."
Mark affectionately rubbed Jess' thigh under the table, in agreement with the toast.
Everyone clicked their glasses excitedly!
"Jess, I didn't get a chance to tell you how beautiful you looked tonight. Jessica, you look beautiful!" Charles locked eyes and said sincerely to Jess.
Jess lit up; her smile shined from ear to ear. "Thank you!" Her cheeks turned red.
Jess grabbed Mark's leg.
Mark smiled back at Jess.
Food and drinks flowed. Everyone had a wonderful time. The table roared with laughter. So much so, other guests turned on multiple occasions to find out what the ruckus was.
It was starting to get late. Most of the tables had cleared and a much more romantic atmosphere replaced the energetic bustle from earlier.
"Jess, would you like to dance?" Charles stood up next to Jess and held out his hand.
He turned to Mark and asked permission without saying a word.
"Yes!" Jess was shocked and excited. She turned to Mark apologetically.
Charles led Jess to the intimate dance floor. It was small and situated near the piano player. He had played calming jazz melodies all night, unnoticed by Mark.
"Would you like to dance and show off that killer set up again?" Mark asked Kim chivalrously.
"Thanks! I would love for you to show off this dress some more! Kim told Mark.
Mark looked at her confusingly. Then smiled, showing his charm. "I would like to show YOU off, not the dress!" He stood up and extended his hand.
