Chapter 3
The food was delicious. Kim raved about her grilled chicken salad, as if she had only had it today, for the first time. Jess couldn't stop herself from finishing the large bowl of French onion soup. The girls sat outdoors at an intimate table for two. Its corner location granted them the privacy they desired while enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
This particular bistro had been a regular spot for the girls over the past three years. The Maรฎtre d knew Jess and Kim by name and always remembered to ask about Mark and Charles. Ramon was quite the ladies' man, and the girls always enjoyed his playful banter.
They talked over the noise on the street from people working, talking, and strolling by. Kim conversed with Jess about her fashion sense and proceeded to explain the inspiration for today's outfit, her bright pink jumper. Her inspiration was how great her cleavage and derriere looked while wearing it.
Jess laughed loudly, almost spilling her lemon water drink.
A few patrons turned to find out what the commotion was. After seeing these two beautiful ladies laughing, they seemingly chalked it up to girls just being girls.
Jessica looked great herself wearing a long spring dress with floral print. Her matching toes peeked out of the bottom of her dress in sandals sporting flower dรฉcor, and of course, her clutch was on point with this year's neutral Michael Kors.
Jess was sipping her water after finishing her amazing meal, casually looking around to pass some time. Kim was across the small table writing a work email on her smart phone tapping 90 to nothing with her thumbs.
Just then a handsome and confident young man walked up to the table. "Excuse me, Miss!" he said walking into Jess' line of sight and personal space.
Jess looked up from her chair. Standing in front of her was a well-dressed and very well groomed 23 or 24 year-old guy smiling right at her. His expensive jewelry shined, and his eyewear was next year's model.
Jess' first thought was this guy is very attractive. However, she wasn't born yesterday, and this fuck boy didn't stand a chance.
"Hi, my name is Dillion," the young man reached out his hand. Jess politely reached out and shook it. "I wanted to come over and let you know I saw you from over there and had to say hello," Dillion proudly pointed across the street.
"I stopped to get this for you." Dillion pulled a flower from behind his back smoothly. Jess laughed, raised an eyebrow and asked him if that line worked already today? She took the flower and placed it on the table.
Dillion admitted it had worked a couple of times earlier today, but she was the most beautiful woman he had seen. So, he had to try.
Jess was grateful and enjoyed the show, but she let Dillion down nicely.
Kim, however, still busy on her phone gave Dillion the shoe away motion like he was a fly or gnat. She did not even give him the time of day to look up from her email.
Jess chuckled but felt a little bad.
She took this opportunity to make sure she hadn't missed anything important from work. She played around on her phone across from Kim for a few minutes.
The two girls were tapping away when the Maรฎtre d walked up with a serving tray. "To the two beautiful women on the patio," he said boldly, loudly, and exclaimed with a fake accent. He raised the shiny metallic tray in his white gloved hand. Then he set two cups down and filled them with hot, fresh tea and served the girls. "Your tea has been served madams!"
The whole restaurant turned and clapped as if he had just sung Happy Birthday. The girls were delighted, and his excitement made it a fun event.
He bent down and changed his tone, formally telling the women the tea was from the two gentlemen at the bar. The girls turned around to see their guys. They raised their beers from across the room and smiled ear to ear. They obviously thought they did good with their little joke.
The girls couldn't help but laugh at how stupid their prank was but felt special at the same time. The guys walked over to say hello. They exchanged kisses and pleasantries, before finishing their drinks and heading back out to meet some of the guys.
"God! Charles pissed me off this morning! I want to be mad right now, but I can't help but smile." Kim told Jess after putting her phone down.
"He's too much fun to be mad at," Jess empathized.
"Yes! He's like hating the dog that's so lovable, but so stupid!" Kim said being mean.
"Don't be like that, he loves you unconditionally!" Jess teased.
"I know, even more infuriating!" Kim became worked up for a moment.
"Hey, you guys want to go to that new restaurant on the Pier next week?" I've been wanting to go.
"Yes, us too! Let's make it a date!" Kim exclaimed, changing her mood quickly.
"Deal," Jess agreed.
"That boy who was over here earlier was really cute!" Kim looked at Jess with raised eyebrows.
"Yeah! He was a cutie, but a bit too young. And I've already got the one I want." Jess answered honestly.
"If we were younger..." Kim joked.
"You didn't even look up to see him." Jess pointed out.
"I see everything!" Kim replied looking at Jess with a weird little smile.
This conversation made Jess think of a certain man she knew, when she was younger. The sex games her and Mark had been playing were keeping some old memories around, and kept Jess aroused often. Her cheeks blushed. Jess looked down at her toes and wiggled them.
"What's got you all hot and bothered?" Kim asked, interested, if it would work for her.
"Nothing!" Jess tried to escape the conversation. "Just the tea."
"Yeah! Yeah!" Kim shrugged her shoulders and did a little dance move from the waist up shaking her big perfect tits!
Jess laughed at her friend.
"This will get me my own Dillion!" Kim joked, confidently.
A distinguished gentlemen was sat at the table next to the girls, "Have a great Meal, Sir!" The Maรฎtre d said, then walked away. The gentleman wore a perfectly fitted light colored suit. He picked up the menu and looked up towards the girls. "Ladies," the man said with a smile and twinkle in his eye. He bowed his head and went back to reading the menu.
The girls stared at him. This man had charm. He didn't need to talk to express it, you could see it in his attire, body language, and face.
Jess turned to Kim, there's your Dillion, she joked.
"Mmmhhhm." Kim agreed staring too long at the man.
"But! Even though I am mad at Charles, I will keep him around." Kim said, looking back to her friend. "He has been rocking my world!" Kim looked away, talking before thinking.
"Oh, yeah!" Jess said flirtatiously. Asking Kim with an eyebrow raise.
Kim paused for a moment trying to decide if she should talk about it. She gave in. "We have really been going at it lately. I mean at it. Like we are kids again." Kim smiled almost laughing. A little proud and shy to reveal the truth, but she could trust her friend.
