Pam nervously paced across her small apartment while biting at her thumbnail and occasionally glancing at the clock on her microwave.
6:19
Pam sighed impatiently. It had barely been an hour since she got home but had felt much longer as she waited for Packer to get there. Part of her wanted to lock the door and turn off the lights. Part of her wanted to leave. Another confusing part of her was tentatively excited to see how the night would go.
She glanced around her apartment as she paced and felt momentarily embarrassed. No one except her parents had even seen it yet. She kept avoiding Penny's and Isabel's requests to hang out.
The walls were mostly still bare and the few pieces of furniture she did have barely seemed to fill the small space. The depressing feeling of it suited Pam just fine at the moment. She didn't think she'd want to be used by Packer in a place that felt like home.
6:47
Pam approached the front door with a fresh batch of butterflies active in her stomach. She slowly kneeled down near the door before quickly standing back up.
I can't do this. I can't just wait on my knees like...like some sort of whore.
She took a deep breath and tried again. She dropped back down to her knees as her snug skirt squeezed against her hips and thighs. Pam made it for three minutes before losing her cool and scrambling to her feet once again.
I can't.
6:51
As the clock inevitably advanced towards seven, the butterflies in Pam's stomach continued to increase in number. Her nerves and anxiety were at an all time high. She thought of imbibing in some liquid courage but didn't trust herself to pour wine without spilling it on herself.
The nervous receptionist began pacing again.
6:58
Pam figured Packer wasn't going to be late. He had been making passes at her and checking her out for years. He wasn't going to miss out on any time that he could be using her with.
Using me...ugh did I really say that? What did I even mean by that?
6:59
Pam briefly thought about kneeling again but just couldn't bring herself to do it. Instead she half sat and half leaned against the arm of the cheap couch she had gotten at a second hand store after moving out of her old place with Roy.
Her hand fidgeted with the gold unicorn necklace she'd had for years as she waited for the door to open.
7:01
It didn't take long. Just as she'd suspected. She heard footsteps stop outside her door briefly before the knob turned and in walked the last person she ever thought would be in her apartment.
Pam's stomach turned unpleasantly as she watched Todd Packer stride through her door with a shit eating grin plastered on his round face. As if he couldn't believe his luck that the shy little secretary with the banging body finally wanted his dick. She'd been on his list for a long time.
"Thought I told you to be waiting on your knees," Todd said as he swung the door shut behind him and took off his suit jacket.
"Umm...uh I just thought that..." Pam nervously stammered and fidgeted with her necklace even more vigorously. "Do you want uhh...a drink or something?"
Pam's face burned in embarrassment as she lamely tried to play host to the crude salesman she had asked to come over and use her. She briefly found herself wishing it was Jim who had just walked through her door and the thought made her angry. He left. He left her and wasn't coming back. Well she could do something that would make him angry too.
"What I want is that pretty little face of yours looking up at me," Packer said.
