FOUR MONTHS LATER
***SANSA***
Four months came and went and much happened throughout the realm of Westeros and our story takes us first to The North.
Standing together hand in hand, Prince Jin and Queen Sansa stood in a mist-covered harbor watching fifty royal wooden and metal warships the likes Sansa has never laid eyes on before. The open port holes had silver tubes pointing out. What these silver tubes were Sansa wasn't sure nor was she aware of what they did. The sides of the galleons had patches of steel protecting their flanks. The giant flags on each warship bore the same banner of Prince Jin's principality. It was a ferocious white tiger wearing an imperial crown, standing on a boulder looking up at a beautiful flaming bird on gold.
"That must be the mythical Phoenix from his native lands," Sansa thought to herself. "What a beautiful banner, it's almost like a painting."
The soldiers, servants, and maids were all wearing clothes and armor indicative of their status and posts. The women were pale and beautiful with black hair. The male servants were all bald and the soldiers wore thin almost body-contouring armor but carried no shields with them. On their helmets, they wore different plumage belonging to foreign and unknown birds.
"Your Grace, we are here, sorry for being late. We all wanted to arrive together as a united North to show our guests that our people are united under one sovereign queen and her prince husband-to-be." Lord Manderly said.
Sansa saw every single lord and lady from all the most influential and respectable houses save for The Karstarks and Boltons who no longer existed as houses, which left the Dreadfort vacant and in need of a new owner. Sansa and the lords and ladies of The North watched a beautiful and golden armored carriage pulled by magnificent foreign stallions trot down the ramp. Soldiers and more soldiers followed by both male and female servants and royal maids came marching out of the galleons behind the soldiers.
"My God, and this isn't even the entire army," said Lord Bear of House Bear who ruled Bear Island, a newly formed and sanctioned house by Queen Sansa.
"Remember that I have a combined might of five hundred thousand soldiers, but I am only asking for one hundred thousand to come and settle here, my younger brother needs the rest to protect his new principality."
When all of the soldiers who came along for the long journey from Yi Ti, they all wore pearlescent armor with golden and silver trimmings. They all carried similar wide-head spears and sheathed swords and carried bags on their backs with supplies in them.
Prince Jin Soza stepped forward and spoke to his soldiers and people in his native language, Sansa and the rest could only surmise he was introducing them all to the queen of The North as he pointed at her. As soon as he stomped one foot forward, all soldiers in perfect synch raised their beautiful but terrifying weapons together and leaned them forward in front of them. They bowed slightly and tapped their feet together until the whole of White Harbor rumbled as they let out a roar that mimicked the beast on their flags.
"My Queen, the soldiers, the men, and the women of my principality are ready to follow you at your command."
"Let us go forward back to Winterfell!" Sansa commanded. The Queen and Prince consort headed out together first with her Queens Guard riding close to the carriage she and her prince rode in. The second column was made up of the heads of The Northern houses along with their knights and the third column was a very long line of soldiers. The servants from Yi Ti including the painters who couldn't wait until they arrived at Winterfell, began painting winter in Westeros.
Inside their carriage, Sansa and Jin conversed. "My queen, I hope I don't sound like I'm trying to make changes to your ancestral seat of power so soon, but my soldiers, there's not enough room for them In Winterfell. I don't want them to be dispersed living in villages or cities here. I would like for all of them to live in their palace. I propose building a palace entirely from the ground up they will work together to build. We even brought building materials and stone also so as not to take from your land's resources."
"I can allow a project like that, or I can give you The Dreadfort for you to remodel and grow even bigger to accommodate all of your men and people." Queen Sansa answered.
"Forgive me, but what is 'The Dreadfort?' is it a castle, a fortress?" Jin inquired.
"It used to belong to the enemy of my house, The Boltons. They were an accursed family that no longer exists and whose entire history has been erased from The North's memory. To answer your question, It's a fortress with high walls and triangular merlons. It has thick stone walls and massive towers. You can take it down or add to it. It's a few miles away from Winterfell, but I think It would make an excellent home for your army."
"I owe you the world, my queen. Me and my men will do everything to change the fortress of your destroyed enemy."
Back in Winterfell, Sansa was in her chambers getting ready for the wedding of the century. For the second time since Aegon the Conqueror, did a powerful foreign ruler with a massive hoard for an army arrive to the shores of Westeros, only this time they came not to conquer, but marry and settle far from their native lands in the far east.
Sansa was being attended to by all of her handmaids, servants, and trusted ladies of House Stark.
"My lady, you're so fat with child, the child will most likely be born in the next few months. We were all wondering what he or she will look like. Your prince consort to be is quite handsome and tall, but we credit that to his foreignness and exotic charm."
"Your grace, did you invite your entire family, I know that The King and his lady wife will be attending tonight."
"Yes, I did invite the King, Jon, Lord Tyrion and Arya, but I don't know where she is, and I haven't received any letters from her telling me where she is or what she has been up to. If that girl would bother just once to come back to visit her family, I could sleep better at night knowing she is safe. But since I have my ladies here with me, could I share with you all a dream I had?"
"Yes, please my lady"
"Please share your dream with us, our queen."
"Okay, calm down girls. About one year ago I dreamt that a heavenly tiger came down from heaven to save a lone injured Dire wolf surrounded by this horrible malevolent darkness that began to surround it from everywhere. The darkness attacked the tiger, but its beautiful heavenly aura burned the darkness, it tore, slashed, ripped at the darkness. The darkness retreated and the tiger cared for the Dire wolf by feeding it and bringing it water. Spending its entire life in a foreign and colder climate turned its normal orange color to white. Its golden eyes turned blue like ice."
"My lady, fate showed you this very day long before you ever met the prince. This is destiny. Jin was sent from the heavens to be by your side even during the darkest night."
Hearing her maids and servant girls reaffirming words brought her a great sense of comfort and joy that her choices were securing and making The North a powerful kingdom unlike the six southern ones.
Winterfell was fully lit with torches detailed around its foundation. Special guests were arriving as the early festivities were just now beginning. It was lightly snowing tonight, perfect for a northern wedding. One of those guests was Lord Tyrion who came riding in from the south on the king's road. Jon Snow who came in from the far North and King Bran and Lady Catlyn were in their own carriage, heading North up the king's road too.
***JON***
Jon and his wife rode on horses along with wildings who came to make sure he and his wife were secure. Their daughters stayed with Sona's mother and sister back north of the wall. Breaking through past the rows of trees and out into the open, Jon could see Winterfell, he was back home once again. Torches were everywhere inside and outside. There were tents, a lot of tents and a lot of people outside of the boundaries of Winterfell, was there an army here? Was it Bran, if it was why would he assemble such a large number of soldiers.
"No these aren't knights and soldiers from The Crownlands, this is a foreign army. Sansa, just what kind of man did you decide to marry." Jon asked himself.
"Are you feeling alright my love?" Sona asked riding close to him.
"Looking at all of these knights and soldiers, foreign soldiers remind of me the night Daenerys and her unsullied along with the other kingdoms came to Winterfell to repel the undead army after the Dothraki charged and failed to break the undead army."
Inside of the crypts of Winterfell, Jon stood standing in front of the statue of Ned Stark. There was a candle lit, the biggest one there just for him. Jon stared for what felt like an eternity at Ned Stark's statue which was made to have him wielding one sword, Ice, with its blade piercing the floor while he held the handle. On his other hand holding the candle. Sona came walking down the long path slowly towards her husband.
"Jon, I have some news about when you asked me if Daenerys was alive" Jon began to remember what Lucas had told him when he asked their Greenseer if he could find where Drogon had taken her after he killed her. "Yes, Lucas please tell me."
"It wasn't easy finding her, the further I looked and looked and searched the pain was becoming unbearable until I found Drogon flying around an unknown island in the middle of an unknown continent at the bottom of the world where it is always spring. I warged into him but refrained from taking control just enough to see that Daenerys was..."
Jon closed his eyes and teared up, holding on to the hand of Ned Stark's statue, remembering what Lucas told him.
"Is it alright if I stand here with you, my love?" Sona asked. Jon, startled, pulled her in and hugged her. "Honey it's alright, It's here now."
