Nineteen year old, Blaire, and her mother stepped into their new home that sat just off the corner of the old path that wound through LIttleroot Town. Blaire's mother thanked the Machoke that had helped move all of their things in while Blarie looked away, blushing slightly as they walked past her and out of their house. Blaire wasn't nervous around Pokemon, not in the least, but there was just something about the Machoke's heavily muscled body and sharp, detecting eyes that filled her stomach with butterflies. Blaire quickly shook the feeling away though and looked at her mother.
"So this is Littleroot Town?" Blaire asked, looking out the window at the other small, cozy-looking house that sat on the opposite side of the grass path.
"Yeah! What do you think of it? It's much different than what we were used to seeing in Jubilife," her mother Dawn said, stepped over to the clock on the wall and turning the hands to tell the correct time. "You should go and set the clock that's up in your room as well, Blaire. You've got a big day tomorrow."
Blaire nodded and started up the stairs to her new room, letting the memory of Professor Juniper's proposal come back to mind. She and her mother had gone on vacation to Unova for a few weeks, and Dawn had introduced her daughter to Professor Juniper.
"Yes, Professor Juniper and I have been close friends ever since I met her on my travels when I was younger," her mother had told her after introducing Blaire to the professor.
"It is very nice to finally meet you, Blaire," Professor Juniper said, a warm smile spreading across her pretty face. "Dawn has told me so much about you. Oh, she was so proud when you were born."
Dawn and Professor Juniper shared a bit more conversation before Professor Juniper turned to Blaire again. She asked if Blaire had ever had a Pokemon of her own or if she'd ever thought about going on a journey with one. Blaire had explained that she had never been able to go on her own Pokemon journey like all the other kids because her father had sent her to a boarding school that taught the theory of catching, raising, and battling alongside Pokemon.
"We were never actually allowed to come in direct contact with Pokemon though," Blaire added. She turned to her mother who, like always when Blaire's school was brought up, had a look of irritation towards Blaire's father on her face.
"He had no right sending her to that horrible school! I was doing an errand for a friend in Hearthome City when, instead of taking care of you while I was gone, he just sends you off to some boarding school in Johto. You should have been here with me, learning how to properly raise Pokemon."
"That really is unfortunate but, you know, I actually may have a solution that may benefit both of us," Professor Juniper said, a glint of sudden excitement and inspiration in her eyes. Juniper rushed over to her computer and began typing something. Dawn and Blaire followed and watched patiently as Juniper clicked a couple of applications, typed some more, and waited for something to load. Blaire was a bit surprised to notice that, instead of watching what Juniper was doing on her computer, her gaze was focused on the curve of her large breasts that hung down a bit as she leaned over. Her face quickly became hot and she quickly looked away just as Juniper turned back to them.
"A colleague of mine contacted me sometime back and asked to do a favor for them, but I simply didn't have the time to find a suitable canidate. I wasn't sure how I was going to tell him that I couldn't help but now, if you'll agree to my proposal Blaire, I won't have to."
"What exactly are you proposing? Blaire asked.
"My colleague wants to know if people would be able to become better trainers faster if they were to start their Pokemon journeys at an older age. He says that since their brains would be developed better that they would be able to raise their Pokemon more efficiently and, therefore, become a better Pokemon trainer faster. I, personally, don't agree with the conclusion he's coming to, but it would be a great chance for you to experience the life of a Pokemon trainer like you would have when you were 11."
Dawn looked at her daughter. "What do you think, dear? You could finally fulfill your dream of becoming the Pokemon Champion." Blaire thought about this for a long moment before looking back up at her mother and Professor Juniper.
