Smooth and sweet. Those were the only words to describe Lane, at least to him. Avery made her melt like no man ever had. She had always been a bit of a tomboy, more ready than anything for a fight or a roll in the mud but now, for him she was sweet, smooth, innocent. They were both happy and committed to someone else however their desires seemed unbelievably strong. She promised to stay away and while he rarely promised or even thought of promising the same he tried to respect her desires, her wants. They had been dancing across this line ever since their sophomore year of high school however the time had never been right.
It certainly didn't help their lusts for one and another that for most of the year they went to colleges across the country away from their loved ones and would build a virtual relationship just as strong, if not better than their own real ones. It seemed inevitable that someone would happen however they fought any real physical intimacy with everything they had and kept it at most to cyber interactions, phone calls and sexting. They knew it wasn't right but thought that maybe this would keep them from crossing the line between thoughts and talk to action. But one fall day, they finally caved, Avery did more specifically. They were talking on the phone, exchanging their latest semi humiliating and somewhat hardcore fantasies about each other when Avery cracked. He probed Lane trying to figure out what her plans were for the upcoming weekend and when he discovered she would mostly be in her dorm room he began searching for flights leaving from his small college town in Kansas to Arizona where she was attending college.
After finding a cheap flight leaving the coming Friday morning he called his football coach and said he needed to go home for a family emergency this weekend. His coach gave him the okay and he got on the plane Friday morning with a backpack and dirty intentions. Avery arrived in Arizona late that evening after having to land in Denver and Albuquerque on his way and called Lane with the surprise saying he needed to tell his Uber where to go.
