Everett is single man, a scientific writer not involved in any meaningful relationships in a year since his divorce.
Harold, his brother, attempts to arrange a first date through his wife Kelly, who thinks Everett, needs to move on with a relationship.
Kelly’s, friends name is, Eboni, an extremely & shamefully beautiful women who is a lifelong friend of Kelly’s family.
Harold,
Ha, Everett,
What are you doing next weekend?
Everett,
I don’t know, why?
What do you have in mind, brother?
Harold,
Well, Kelly’s friend is a nice women & I thought maybe,
Ha, don’t look at me like that,
She really is a nice & interesting person.
Everett,
Not again brother,
I remember the one, who thought, I needed to be cleansed,
And what about that one, with the screaming laugh,
And the other one, that put kitchen chair on her walls.
No thanks, brother, I don’t do crazy anymore.
Harold,
It’s just one date,
Surely you can go on one date, Everett.
Everett,
Ok brother,
I’m only doing this for you & Kelly,
I’ll be at you place, about seven, next Saturday?
Everett’s, lasciviousness of aloofness preceded his, wanton curiosity, as he daydreamed about the upcoming first date.
Serious doubts about his readiness to proceed in any relationship, was always on his mind.
His reservations were as hesitant that only matched his mannerisms towards meeting new women.
As Saturday arrived, he proceeded to drive to his brother’s house at the agreed time at seven.
Getting out of his car, he observed, on the left side of his brother’s home, the Childs swing & slide set.
He starred up at his brother’s home with the envy of family all the joys at family hood.
As he walked up the steps of his brother’s home, he preceded very gingerly, cautious & very nervous.
Everett knocked on the door & was greeted by his brother & Kelly.
Just entering the door was the view of a tall & winding staircase that leads to the second floor of the home.
As Everett stood momentarily, in the vestibule of the home, he looked up & saw a vision of long legs descending from the second floor of his brother’s home.
This vision was preceded by a lovely tall woman in blue, as she seemed to glide down the winding staircase.
As the women approached Everett, she said “Hi, I’m, Eboni”, your family told me great things about you.
Everett,
With a big smile,
“Nice to meet you too”
Well, shall we go?
Harold,
Have a good time, you two.
Kelly,
Smiling,
Where are you guys going?
Everett,
Smiling,
It’s a surprise,
Will tell you later,
Everett, enchanted with the obvious, beauty & grace of Eboni, started to relax with a lot more calm.
Eboni,
You’re a writer, right?
What types of writing do you do?
Everett,
