We made our way up the stairs, entering the auditorium where a surprising sight awaited us. The entire theater was devoid of any audience. It was a puzzling sight, considering the usual excitement that surrounded Marvel movies.
Kylie remarked, "It seems like no one is particularly interested in this Marvel movie."
I shrugged, feeling a sense of confusion as to why the turnout was so low. It was unusual for a highly anticipated film.
Kylie's voice carried a hint of remorse as she spoke, "I'm sorry for what I did earlier, trying to protect you from Rachel."
Her apology caught me off guard. I had expected to be the one offering apologies for involving her in my personal matters.
I responded, "You did what you felt was necessary. I appreciate your support."
Kylie's eyes held a hint of concern as she leaned closer and whispered, "Let's keep this between us. If Vincent were to find out..."
Understanding her worry, I assured her, "Don't worry, Kylie. I won't breathe a word of this to anyone."
We settled into our seats, with Kylie placing the popcorn tub on her lap. As trailers and advertisements played, not a single person entered our auditorium. However, to my dismay, Rachel unexpectedly appeared at the last moment and chose to sit right beside me.
In the entire theater, the seating arrangement had us placed as follows: Kylie, then me, and then Rachel. I found myself uncomfortably sandwiched between my ex-girlfriend and my sister-in-law.
Feeling uneasy, I looked at Kylie, silently expressing my concern. She nodded, indicating that I should try to ignore Rachel's presence and focus on enjoying the movie instead.
With no possibility of changing seats due to the theater's strict policy, we had no choice but to carry on. The film started, and Evangeline Lilly looked stunning in her bikini-clad Wasp costume, performing all the action sequences.
As the thrilling action continued on the big screen, Rachel's hand unexpectedly touched mine, causing a brief distraction from the movie.
She pleaded, "Pat, listen to me."
I replied, "Let me watch the movie first."
Rachel persisted, "Just one thing, then you can do whatever you want."
I asked, "What is it?"
Rachel confessed, "I booked all the remaining seats in the theater."
Suddenly, everything made sense. The empty auditorium and the absence of other moviegoers were due to Rachel's actions.
She continued, "I still love you, Pat. Please forgive me for all the pain I've caused you. I'm truly sorry, Pat. Take me back."
I responded without hesitation, "I have a girlfriend now. I can't do that."
Kylie, engrossed in the film, remained oblivious to our conversation, fully immersed in the action on the screen.
Rachel, undeterred by my rejection, persisted in her attempts to win me back. She remarked, "Your girlfriend is so engrossed in the film that she doesn't even notice you. Let me show you how to truly enjoy a movie."
Her hand ventured towards my pants and began to rub it.
I firmly stated, "Rachel, stop this right now."
Meanwhile, Kylie remained unaware of the unfolding situation, completely absorbed in the movie's captivating storyline.
Realizing that Rachel's actions were crossing all boundaries, I took hold of her hand and firmly pushed it away.
Unexpectedly, Rachel leaned in and kissed me, seeking to reignite the past. However, I did not reciprocate the gesture, gently pushing her away.
To my dismay, Kylie witnessed this unexpected display of affection between Rachel and me, potentially misinterpreting the situation as a reconciliation. Kylie, however, refrained from intervening, allowing me to handle the situation.
In an assertive voice, I exclaimed, "Enough, Rachel! I don't want to be with you anymore! I have a girlfriend who means the world to me!"
Rachel, hurt by my rejection, fled away in tears.
Despite Kylie being engrossed in the movie, she glanced at me and expressed her disapproval, "You shouldn't have yelled at her. It could have been a chance to reconcile, and she might have changed for the better. I'm not your actual girlfriend, Pat."
I wanted to respond, to explain my feelings, but words failed me.
Throughout the movie, we sat in silence, with me even forgetting to enjoy the popcorn. Occasionally, our hands would unintentionally touch as we reached for popcorn simultaneously, but it felt like there was an invisible barrier between us. I couldn't help but think that the kiss had changed everything, and not for the better.
As the moaning sounds emanated from the movie, depicting Evangeline Lilly's character getting fucked in the ass by Hulk, "Fuckk. Aahhhh. Ahhhh. Ahhhh. Fuck my loser ass."
While I glanced at Kylie, she watched the scene with a composed expression. It made me wonder if she was getting aroused at all.
I mustered up the courage to make a move, even though it felt nerve-wracking. After all, she had kissed me earlier, so there was a glimmer of hope. The movie theater seemed to be the only place where I could possibly make a move with her, so I decided to take the chance.
As we both reached for the popcorn, our hands met in the tub. I held her hand for a moment, hoping she would perceive it as a playful gesture.
I tried to initiate a conversation, hoping to tease and arouse her, "How's the movie?"
She replied, "It's nice. Although the sex part seems irrelevant to the story."
I countered, "But many people come to watch these scenes."
She responded, "I'm not that kind of person. I came today because I didn't have anything better to do."
Feeling emboldened, I suggested, "You should come more often."
She remarked, "Then Hollywood should make better movies."
I asserted, "You should come for more often for these movies... With me."
She probably sensed lust in my eyes. But she ignored it and laughed.
She replied, "Go. Get your Kawksucker."
Despite feeling incredibly aroused and tempted to push boundaries, I knew I had to be cautious about my actions. However, my desire was overwhelming, and I was willing to face the consequences.
