It was now four weeks after Oliver had taken his oldest daughters virginity and he still marvelled at how it had felt.
Oliver lay in bed thinking about his second daughter Claire as he was due to go down to the house in Surrey that his ex wife still lived in with her new husband and the girls.
Claire was very different from Helen he thought. While she was bright and did well at school her whole life revolved around horses. She had started riding when she was six and seemed to spend as much time as possible at the local stables.
She started entering show jumping classes and soon began to make a name for herself on the local circuit and by 13 she was beginning to be noticed by senior people in the sport.
All this can to a sudden halt when she had a very bad fall breaking her leg in several places. Claire had to spend several months in plaster to allow the breaks to heal. This did not stop her going to the stables although she couldn't ride.
When the plaster was off and after a lot of physio she got back on her horse but then had sudden panic attacks. Memories of the fall kept coming back. Claire was very down because she loved being around horses.
One day the owner of the stables said to her, "Claire why don't you try dressage. You won't be jumping fences and you'll be able to use your riding skills in a different way."
It was agreed that the owner would let her ride one of the schools dressage horses and that she would try coaching her.
Claire soon found her confidence rising and she quickly adapted to this new challenge. Oliver and his ex agreed that they would sell the jumping pony and buy a dressage horse.
Claire took to dressage and was soon winning local age group competitions.
By the time she was 17 she was riding at a high level and a month before her 18th birthday she had competed in the GB National Junior Championship coming second.
Many spectators felt she was far and away the best rider but the winner was a lad riding a horse that had competed internationally.
Claire's performance was noted by the national selectors and she had been invited to ride on the GB Junior Team at a competition in France in three months time.
Oliver had seen her competing and was extremely proud of her and had bought her a new dressage saddle for her birthday.
Oliver decided to drive down to Surrey giving himself plenty of time to get there in time for the lunch that had been arranged. He realised that Helen would probably be there and hope that they would not feel awkward when they met.
When he had parked Oliver was greeted at the door by Carols new husband Peter. While he had met him several time they had never really got on. This was probably not surprising.
Oliver went into the house and kissed Carol on the cheek when they meet.
"Go into the lounge darling. "Carol gushed.
He did as he was told and found that the room seemed full. In addition to his three daughters there was two other youngsters who were Peters children. Carols parents were also there and he always seemed to received a frosty reception from them.
Claire spotted her father and rushed over to kiss him and saying, "Thank you daddy. I love the new saddle."
Helen and his youngest daughter Sarah came and kissed him. Helen gave him a knowing smile and Oliver felt himself relaxing a little.
Oliver found the lunch very trying. He had been sat between to his ex mother-in-law and Peters young son. at the opposite end of the table to his daughters.
To him the lunch seemed to drag on and he decided that as soon as it finished he was going to leave. They had all moved back into the lounge for coffee and as soon as he had finished his Oliver stood and said that he was sorry but he had to get back to London.
Claire joined him as he got ready to leave and whispered to him "I'm sorry daddy that wasn't much fun for you was it."
"No darling, it wasn't. Look I know that in a couple of weeks time you've not got any competitions on. Why don't you come up and stay Saturday night with me. If you come in time for lunch then we can go shopping or something in the afternoon before going out for a meal and take in a show. "
"That would be lovely daddy. It'll be nice to spend some time just the two of us together."
During the next week Oliver was due to meet up with a good friend of his Colin Hines. He had first met Colin about 20 years ago during a Company take over he was working on. Colin had had his own Company and over this years it had become a major name in property management. Oliver had worked closely with Colin and they had both benefited from the relationship.
A couple of years ago Colin decided to sell his interest and had received over £500 million pounds. Since then he had basically retired to his large property in Surrey.
Oliver met Colin at his Club for lunch. Soon Colin was telling him about a new venture he was going to get involved in. He asked Oliver if he was interested in investing in it and if he was willing to deal with the legal side. Oliver was only too happy to agree.
With that out of the way the pair started to talk about what other things were going on in their lives. Colin knew of Oliver's daughters success at the recent dressage competition as his wife also rode but not at anywhere near the same level as Claire. He told Oliver that a couple of months ago his wife had persuade him to buy a new young horse from a member of the German dressage team. Colin had spent about £250,000 on the horse but his wife had found it too large and powerful.
Colin then suggested that Claire try riding it to see if she could cope. He said that he would arrange for a top line instructor to be with her. Then if she could develop it he and Oliver could talk more. Colin was not adverse to sponsoring Claire in various ways.
Oliver decided to save this news until he saw Claire next.
The Saturday arrived for Claire to visit Oliver. It was agreed that she would come up by train and arrive at about 12.30 in time for some lunch. Oliver spent the morning catching up on some reading before preparing lunch for the two of them. He had a French stick, a couple of cheeses, ham, pate and salad which he laid out in the kitchen.
Claire arrived just after 12.30 and Oliver kissed her as she came in and told her to put her bag in the bedroom she normally use and then join him in the kitchen. When she joined him he saw she was wearing a tight fitting sweater and jeans. The sweater showed off her breast which we fuller than her older sisters.
He said, "Darling I've got a couple of late birthday presents for you. I hope you like them."
