This is a story of two siblings, both of whom are over 18 years of age.
CH 4.
I felt it was a bit weird that after each of our three tristes, Julie seemed to go distant on me and quiet for a several days afterwards. I didn't know if it was guilt or whether she needed to process what happened each time and where it was all going, but it was a bit disconcerting.
A few days after we had made love the last time, I managed to catch her alone for a few minutes.
"Would you come to my room later on, just for a few minutes so we can talk please?" I asked her.
She looked softly at me and just nodded before continuing on to where she had been heading.
Later that night, I lay awake, my eyes fixed on the ceiling illuminated only by a small bedside lamp. I could hear my parents' faint snoring from down the hall, a reminder that we could easily be caught, but I also heard the soft creak of Julie's door opening, the quiet pad of her footsteps as she made her way toward my room.
The thought of our parents discovering me and Julie together made me tremble, but it was a tremble mixed with anticipation, not just fear. We had already crossed the line, three times to be exact, each encounter more intense than the last.
But tonight, I just wanted to talk and see how she felt.
The door eased open, and she slipped inside, closing it silently behind her. Her eyes met mine, and for a moment, we just stared, aware of the risk we were taking. She hadn't changed into her sleep-wear and still wore a loose tank top and shorts, her bare feet quiet on the carpet. Her hair fell in loose waves around her face, and her lips were slightly parted, as if she'd been holding her breath.
"I think they're asleep," she murmured, her voice barely audible, "but we don't have much time, and we have to be quiet."
I sat up and nodded, my heart pounding. "I know, but I needed to see you alone, I can't stop thinking about you."
She took a step closer, her scent, a mix of her soap and shampoo, filling my senses.
"Come and sit on the bed," I whispered.
She hesitated, "OK, but we can't do anything, it's too risky."
"I know," I said, "I just wanted to talk."
She stepped closer still, her hand reaching out to brush my arm. Her touch sent a jolt through me, and I found myself leaning into her, our bodies so close that I could feel the heat from her.
"What do you want to talk about?" she asked, quietly, sitting down on the edge of the bed.
"I have been thinking..." I began.
"Well, that's dangerous for a start," she quipped, trying to take some apprehension out of the situation.
"Seriously though, the last time we... you know..." I began again, a bit bashfully, "you said...afterwards, you would like to have slept with me for the whole night."
"Yes, I remember, and it would have been nice, but how? They're always around. It's like they have radar or something."
"I've been thinking about it." I ran a hand through my hair, frustration creeping in. "I know it's complicated. But we have to try something. we can't keep sneaking around like this. It's driving me crazy."
"And what did you come up with?" she asked, her eyes fixed to mine.
"I tried to think how we could be together away from here for the whole night, but I couldn't see how we could explain it."
"Yes, I know."
"So, I thought how about if it was our parents who weren't here, but we were."
Julie's eyebrows furrowed, "How do you propose to do that, get aliens to abduct them?"
I chuckled softly, but it was more a release of nerves than genuine amusement.
"Not quite, but you know it's their 25th wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks and we discussed getting something for them together?"
"Yes, we did, but I'm not sure how that's going to help," Julie said.
"Well, I thought, how about if we club together and send them on a weekend package to somewhere like Paris. I have some savings and there are quite a lot of good package deals around because I've checked. What do you think?"
"Oh God, I hadn't thought of that, it could work... but what if they don't want to go?"
"They won't turn it down if it's already booked, and a gift, will they?" I answered.
Julie's lips curved into a sly smile. "Do you know what, I really think it might work as long as we can afford it."
We sat there, lost in the moment, each thinking about how exciting it might be to be alone together in the house for a whole weekend.
