The morning sun cast a blanket of warmth onto the walls of Cammy's castle. Birds sang their morning song down below, all the while shroomans bustled about in the courtyard. They recently claimed the castle back and removed the flag of Lord Shellie. Their heroes, a stranger known as Gamer and a shellie known as Minnie, were celebrated by word of mouth. The shroomans were happy to be alive, and sang along with the birds as they tossed the captured minions of Lord Shellie into the dungeon.

Up on the highest floor in Cammy's castle, inside Cammy's bedroom, the bed frame creaked under bouncing weight. Minnie sat atop Gamer, their clothes tossed aside, as they enjoyed a morning wakeup. Minnie kept her body close to Gamer's, but the gyrations of her lifting up and plopping down were enough to rattle the rudimentary bed. Her pussy devoured Gamer's cock, which bulged inside her. They'd been going for a while. His balls tensed up as the feeling intensified with each slam from Minnie. Her breasts swung into his face over and over. Their softness, and his hands sunk into her ass cheeks, were enough to drive a man wild.

"Mmm, there we...go..." Minnie fully inserted Gamer in and fell still. He felt her contracting, and the warmth of her cum soon followed. She leaned forward and pressed against Gamer's chest.

"Girl, I'm finna bust. We can't stop now," Gamer practically pleaded. The previous day was spent flying around the area and transforming shroomans back to their normal forms. It took all day, so Gamer couldn't quite fix his blue ball problem invoked after defeating Cammy. His balls ached, and were quite sensitive all day yesterday. By the time Minnie revealed that the shroomans gifted them Cammy's room for helping them, Gamer fell asleep the moment his head hit the pillow. Waking up to a half naked, cute turtle girl giving him a titjob was the ignition to the morning's session.

"Yeah, yeah! Let's go!" Minnie recovered. As if she wasn't just winded from an orgasm, she started to bounce far more vigorously. It took Gamer by surprise, but the quickened pace and press of her body did it. Gamer bore his teeth and clinched his teeth as his cock began to flare. It was time, "Ah! Almost there! Ain't nothing stopping it..."

The bedroom door swung open and three shroomans clamored at the door, "Gamer!"

Their piercing voices scared the tar out of Gamer and Minnie. She leapt sideways out of fright, and Gamer's cock popped out. He cried out in agony, more terrified by the second blue balling, rather than the appearance of alien-looking mushroom people. He roared like an enraged dragon, "What is wrong with you people?!"

"He's being choked! Let him breathe!" the lead shrooman pointed at Gamer's blood-rushed cock. The head beat purple and twitched like crazy.

"It's not what you think!" Gamer launched every pillow, side table, and article of clothing in his reach at the shroomans. Gamer's rage vibrated through the entire castle. The shroomans in the courtyard paid no mind.

Gamer angrily dressed himself and Minnie hid under the blankets of the bed. The shroomans, even after the outburst, were there with a purpose, and no amount of awkwardness or lividness convinced them to close the door.

"Is something the matter?" Minnie asked, since Gamer didn't even want to face them.

"Ah, yes, we have a super announcement to make!" the lead shrooman pitched. The nervous shrooman hid just outside the doorway, while the third shrooman counted the items thrown at them. The lead shrooman continued, "The boat is ready! We can head to Princess Persica's hideout!"

Gamer and Minnie were taken to the castle basement. For all its architectural glory, the castle was pretty simple in design. Wide open spaces, basic masonry, and a bunch of tapestry. Down in the basement, they passed by the dungeons. The imprisoned shellies were a rabble. Minnie no longer cowered behind Gamer, but she still reflected guilt for seeing her people behind bars.

A few shellies spat and glared daggers at Gamer. Cammy was front and center, with a poorly stitched up dress. She chided, "Oi, you'll regret crossing Lord Shellie. Obnoxious nincompoops!"

Minnie winced and looked towards Gamer. He stared straight ahead, paying no mind to them. This only rattled up the shellies, "Cold-hearted! He thinks he's so cool! Stupid face!"

Gamer only thought of one thing, 'I need to nut. I need to nut. I need to nut...'

Another set of stairs later and they were at an underground port. A water canal flowed out the backside of the castle and the hillside that separated it from the lake waterfront. Gamer and Minnie had seen the lake at the top of Cammy's castle. A single boat was available. It was bright orange and yellow, and resembled an average, six-person sailboat. Its block form made it seem like it was made of an assortment of geometric shapes.

Minnie had never seen a boat like this, "What is the boat made out of? It doesn't look like wood."

The lead shrooman poked the substance. It bent in a little, but when he retracted his finger, it returned to form, "It's called gummi. It's super squishy, super comfortable, and super buoyant!"

Minnie hopped on the boat. It supported her, but it did feel like she stood on a mattress. She liked it, "Cool! Who's our captain?"

The lead shrooman stepped forward and took out a traditional, shrooman-sized commodore's hat and fitted it on his head. He glued a fake moustache under his...eyes, since he didn't have a nose. He saluted, ready to set sail.

"Aye, aye, captain!" Minnie saluted back. Gamer wordlessly stepped into the boat. The nervous shrooman and accountable shrooman waved goodbye as the gummi sailboat weighed anchor. It started floating down the current, out through the canal.

There were two rows to sit on near the back of the boat. Gamer and Minnie sat here, while the captain attended the helm. Once they were out of the canal, daylight lit up everything. The waters were perfectly blue and crisp. The lake's size was gargantuan; they couldn't see any land on the horizon. The captain dropped the sails and the wind started pulling them forward.

Minnie enjoyed the brisk splash of water that tickled her cheeks. She admired the beauty of nature, "Isn't it wonderful? I'm glad I can experience this. Right, Gamer?"

Gamer stared ahead at the horizon with only one thing on his mind, 'I need to nut. I need to nut. I need to nut.'

A loud boom drew the trio's attention back towards the castle. The top of Cammy's castle collapsed and much of it tumbled down to the ground. Smoke billowed out the top, as though a fire was set.

"What's happening?" Minnie gawked at the destruction.

"Say it isn't so..." captain shrooman expressed dread. He dropped to his knees, "It's him..."

Gamer narrowed his eyes to increase the draw distance. He spotted a figure looming on the battlements. A stocky figure stared back, but the distance made the details hard to discern. The figure leapt from the battlements to the ground below, out of sight.

Minnie finally reacted, and uncontrollably shivered in terror, "It's Marco."

"Uh...the dude just unalived himself. Jumped straight to the ground from, what, a hundred feet?" Gamer analyzed.

"I've seen him bound about with no regard to height. He's even fallen from the clouds with no issues," captain shrooman rebutted.

No fall damage -- can't kill him with a pitfall. Eventually, Marco appeared on the cliffside where the canal entrance was. He certainly wasn't damaged. With him closer, Gamer finally saw what Marco looked like. A rotund, short man with a glorious, bushy moustache and a scowl that would make a shark pause. His big button nose matched his belly, but Gamer could tell that most of him was muscle. He reminded Gamer of a dwarf. He wore overalls over a red top, and a cap that matched the top.

"The monster has a face," Gamer retained the mug. Then, Marco dove into the water.

"Why does it feel like he's coming after us?" Minnie whimpered.

"Of course he is. He wants to find the princess," captain shrooman refocused on sailing. "All the commotion of us returning to normal and taking back the castle must have alerted him. Oooh, this is super bad."

"There wouldn't happen to be any reapers or leviathans in the lake, would there?" Gamer asked.

"I don't know what those are..." captain shrooman admitted.

"Nah, that'd be too easy," Gamer kept his sights transfixed on the water. Before they could sail away any farther, two large, gloved hands breached the water and grasped the backside of the boat. The hands were big enough to fit around a human torso. As the boat halted, the massive head and face of Marco rose out of the water. While in the lake, he'd eaten a red cap. A grimace with bloodshot eyes greeted the trio. Minnie and captain shrooman hugged each other as they screamed.

"Dammi la principessa!" Marco roared.

"Was that italian?!" the language and accent bewildered Gamer.

"I toldja he spoke weird," Minnie piped up proudly. However, Marco didn't approve, and he reached for her. When the large gripper passed Gamer, he disrespectfully kicked it to the side and stifled Marco. The giant italian and Gamer drilled glares into one another.

Gamer warned, "Keep your hands off her."

"Chi sei?" Marco gritted his teeth, but Gamer had no idea what he asked.

Captain shrooman lunged for the wheel and shrieked, "Super hang on! I'm gonna do a barrel roll!"

"A barrel roll in a sa..." but before Gamer could question the logic, captain shrooman cut the wheel by spinning it. The boat rotated sideways and completed one rotation. Everybody on the boat was drenched by the sudden dunk and disoriented by the spin. Marco continued clinging on, but his eyes spun, too.

"That...wasn't...a barrel roll," Gamer spat at lake water.

"Okay, I'll try again..." captain shrooman groggily gripped the wheel.

"It didn't fix anything the first time!" Gamer wanted to ring the mushroom's neck.

Minnie shoved Gamer aside. He hit the bottom of the boat, and then turned to see Marco's hand squeezing on her. Only her head poked out the top of the hand, and her asphyxiation was apparent by her inability to breathe. Marco brought her closer, and opened his mouth to consume her.

Gamer reached into his jean's pocket and pulled out Cammy's broom. He smoothly transitioned to riding it and instantly launched from the boat at high speed. Before Marco dropped Minnie in his gaping maw, Gamer nailed his throat with the tip of the broom. He swung a fist into Marco's chin, as well, and the force from both points of contact detached him from the boat. He let out a painful grunt and shrunk in size. He dropped Minnie, who was caught by Gamer on his broom. Marco fell backwards into the water and disappeared beneath the waves.

Gamer and Minnie landed on the boat. Minnie thanked him, and he thanked her. Captain shrooman asked, "Where did you pull that from?"

"Do you know what a roleplaying game is?"

"Not at all."

"Then I'm not explaining hammer space inventory," Gamer pushed the broom back into his pocket. Back into his inventory.

Minnie peered into the water, but saw nothing, "Do you think you got him?"

"The red cap saved him, so I doubt it," Gamer leered at the water.

"We should turn back. If Marco is following us, he'll find out where the princess is!" captain shrooman strained his voice.

"No, we sail on," Gamer declared.

"What? That's a super bad idea, though!"

"Marco is hellbent on getting to Princess Persica. If we lead him there, he'll take efforts to nab her. That's when I strike, and take him out once and for all," Gamer reasoned.

Captain shrooman didn't have the same level of confidence, but trusted in the stranger's abilities thus far. They stayed the course and sailed towards the horizon. All the while Marco lingered beneath the waves.

Marco did not pop up soon thereafter. Minnie and captain shrooman were on edge, but Gamer literally skirted it. He lounged, and allowed one hand to dip in the water. He stuck his middle finger up, just to bait the italian.

"What has the princess been doing this whole time?" Minnie asked.

"Hmm, well, she's been resting, primarily. Super important to do. Aside from that, she is biding her time. Our hopes are that Marco and Lord Shellie destroy each other, and then the princess returns to pick up the pieces and restore order," captain shrooman explained.

"She's a pacifist, right?"

"Super correct! That is why we shroomans are so easily bullied."

"Heheh, yeah, it was pretty easy for Lord Shellie to take over."

"Twas truly terrible," the reminder depressed captain shrooman.

Minnie's guilt returned, and she finally said, "I know it's not much, but I'm sorry for what happened. All we shellies ever wanted was a place to be. Lord Shellie gave that to all of us, and promised to lead us to brighter tomorrows. One way or another..."

"The grass is always greener on the other side," captain shrooman replied. He shot Minnie a smile to calm her nerves, "The skies are always darkest before dawn. Keep a super stiff upper lip, Minnie."

His words lightened her heart, and she was able to smile again. She looked at Gamer and understood. He was busy watching the horizon, caught up on thinking about, 'I need to nut. I need to nut. I need to...'

Something clamped onto Gamer's middle finger in the water. He bugged out and pulled up his hand. A guppy-like red and white fish had latched onto the middle finger. Its appearance freaked Gamer, "Hey, hey, hey!"

"Ah, a gulp gulp," captain shrooman identified the fish. He scanned the horizon and then pointed ahead. Peeking over the waters were a few sheer cliff islands. Rope bridges connected the islands, with the last island having a small, shaman-looking shack on it. Captain shrooman laughed for comfort, "Gulp gulps live around these islands. Super good show, Gamer!"

"Are they dangerous?" Gamer was hesitant to fling the fish away. The gulp gulp didn't do much on the outside, except look around with its big eyes. In its mouth, on the other hand, a tongue-like appendage swirled, stroked, and sucked all over Gamer's middle finger. The wetness and sensation reminded him of a female vibrator.

"Not at all," Minnie stuck her hand in the water. After a moment, she fished out one of her own gulp gulps. It took her whole hand, "They love dirt, grime, and sweat. They are used all over Chanterelle to clean bodies, as well as for massages."

"They love it?" Gamer raised an eyebrow. His gulp gulp finished cleaning and detached. Gamer flipped his hand to catch it, and the gulp gulp licked its sussy, thick lips. It nodded in response to his question. Indeed, it was sentient...and consensual...

"Huh, cool, WHAT IS THAT?!" Gamer pointed overdramatically behind Minnie and captain shrooman. They spun on the spot, afraid that Marco had made a reappearance. However, aside from the stretch of lake and mountains in the distance, there wasn't anything. When they faced Gamer again, he had returned to his lounged position. The gulp gulp was nowhere to be seen. He shrugged, "Guess it was nothing."

"That was scary. I'm still worried about Marco showing," Minnie checked the surroundings. Still no sign of him.

Gamer's leg twitched, but it looked like he was just readjusting himself. His facial expression also shifted. His lips and eyebrows were trying to restrain emotion. He took in a deep breath before letting it out with a hanging mouth.

"Are you okay?" captain shrooman asked.

"Ooh yeah, fantastic...hah..." Gamer slumped back more.

The islands where Princess Persica were less than a hundred meters away. However, captain shrooman and Minnie were preoccupied by Gamer. He appeared to squirm and crumble.

"Is this what they call seasickness?" Minnie asked the captain.

He shrugged, "I dunno. I've never been on a boat before."

"But you're the captain."

"I've never been a captain before."

"Oooh..." Gamer groaned. He placed a hand over his stomach and hips, and made a face that Minnie could only describe as somebody in total, complete, undeniable agony. His moans dragged on like the undead shellies legends from her homeland speak of.

"Can seasickness kill a person?" she had to ask.

"It's a sickness, right? Lots of illnesses kill people," captain shrooman figured.

"Oooh, this is heaven..." Gamer muttered.

"He's dying!" Minnie and captain shrooman screamed. Gamer's eyes crossed and his lips puckered into a weird smile. The man stood on the brink of death, and fought to stay alive. He rolled to the side and began panting. His eyes started to roll into the back of his head.

Captain shrooman moved the sail mass so the wind hit it with full force. They were no longer headed for the shallow beach in front of the first isle. They were now headed for a cluster of rocks. Captain shrooman held true to the helm and braced for impact, "Hang out, Gamer, I'm super not going to let you die!"

Minnie kneeled down and grasped Gamer's hand. It was sweaty, and his grip was weak. They were losing him, "Hang in there, Gamer!"

"So...close..." Gamer barely got out.

"Please!" Minnie cried out.

The sailboat rammed into the rocks. The speed and force of the crash sent all three of them forward and off the boat. Captain shrooman landed head first in the sand and successfully became stuck. Minnie skidded on her butt, and was barely missed by Gamer, who skidded along face and chest first. He sat up quickly with a sharp cry, "Whyyy?!"

"Are you okay now?" Minnie crawled over to check on her friend.

Gamer ran over to the waters while reaching into his jeans. He pulled out the gulp gulp from earlier, and to his dismay, the fish was knocked out. He dropped to his knees and repeated his cry, "Whyyy?!"

Minnie walked over and saw the harmed fish. Now she understood why he was heartbroken. As he sobbed into the sand, and released the gulp gulp back where it belonged, Minnie patted him on the shoulder in solidarity. She reassured him that the gulp gulp would feel better in the lake.

Captain shrooman popped his head out of the sand. He rushed over and checked on the boat. The front, as expected, didn't take a bit of damage thanks to the gummi material. He then examined the sheer cliff that made up most of this small isle. The rope ladder that led up to the top, and thus access to the rope bridges, was still in good shape.

The captain moved over to the others, "Ship is in good condition. Now, it's time to meet the princess. We have to climb, and then cross."

The trio scaled the cliff. They reached the top, and by Minnie's estimations compared to Cammy's castle, over one hundred feet above the lake. The wind blustered about. There were three bridges total, connecting all four isles to one another.

Captain shrooman started off down the first bridge. It swayed slightly in the wind, so he took his time stepping on each plank. Minnie took second place, and Gamer stomped in third. Bummed out, Gamer's eyes remained cast downward. That's how he knew he needed to dodge in a second. A fish flew straight towards them. He stopped moving and leaned away as the gulp gulp flew by. It arched and dived back towards the water.

"They fly now?" Gamer asked captain shrooman, but saw that another gulp gulp had flown up and sucked onto the captain's head. He panicked and ran in circles on the bridge. Unable to get an answer until Minnie helped pull the gulp gulp off, Gamer leaned over and searched the waters. More gulp gulps were being launched from the lake. As Gamer traced each spot, he picked up on secondary movement beneath the waves. The rotund man, Marco, breaststroked at incredible speeds. Marco would move, grab innocent gulp gulps, and violently throw them at the group. What baffled Gamer the most was Marco's current outfit. He appeared to be wearing a full-body frog suit. Gamer gawked, "Is that motherfucker a frog?!"
