Osa and the Magic War

Giant Problems

While John is getting their people organized and ready to march out from the castle, on the top of the castle Adunbi, Quivina, and Amy are with Osa and Ekian to wish them a safe voyage.

Adunbi gives them each a stone skin amulet and a kiss on their forehead, "I'll see you at the royal palace."

Osa says, "If the plan works out, we should be there around the same time as you."

Quivina hugs them both and kisses them on the cheek, "Be safe, my sisters."

Ekina replies, "Be safe, also, sister."

Ame gives Ekina a dose of each of her pollen powders (sleep, dizziness, blindness, numbness, hot, cold, pain), and Osa a dose of each of her sap ointments (Joy, Lust, Fear, Rage), then kisses each of them on the lips, "Don't make me have to come look for you, because I will be very upset if you don't make it."

Osa looks tells Amy, "We have so much more to teach each other. I look forward to all the time we will spend together."

Osa and Ekina climb on the back of the dragon, and hold tight as it launches them into the air. Once they even out, Ekina's eagle lands on her arm as they make the lengthy trip to the south coast of the continent. In order to be stealthy, they dragon flies them up into the clouds until noon, then they land to eat and rest until sunset, on the first two days. After dark, they fly low and attack any Orangeman outposts they see along the way, on the first two nights.

On the third day, they are able to see the massive camp of tents and ten thousand Orangemen. They have to back track in order to land for rest and food, in order to not be seen. As they eat lunch, they discus how they want to attack. The Dragon volunteers to make a distraction, attacking from the darkness and causing chaos. Ekina says, "I will carry Osa in as a horse." Osa then says, "I can use my golden Zentai to make myself look like one of the northern lords. The Orangemen should let us by without question." Osa and Ekina join hand and cast a spell to obscure their presence, unless somebody accidentally walks into the middle of their camp, then they go to sleep under one the dragons wings.

As the sun sets, the dragon retracts its wing, allowing the light of the setting sun and the cool evening air to awaken Osa and Ekina. The sisters eat some of their rations and then pack up with the last of the light. They cancel their concealment spell, then Ekina takes the form of a horse. Osa climbs on Ekina's back and shifts her Zentai to look like the armor of the noble lord she saw in the secret room back in the castle.

Osa says, "Alright, sis, lets look as if we are trying to out race the dragon." Ekina nods her head and whinnies, then takes off towards the Orangeman command camp. Once the sister are clear of the camp, the dragon launches himself into the air getting as much height as possible while circling the camp, and watching Osa and Ekina race towards the camp.

The dragon circles the camp for several minutes, until he feels that Osa and Ekina are reasonable close, then he swoops down, building speed, and preparing his breath attack. His first pass hits the south side of the camp, surprising the Orangemen and their Redmen commanders. The entire camp is in a panic to put the flames out and figure out what cause the fire.

Just as Osa and Ekina reach the eastern edge of the camp, the dragon makes a second pass, this time over the west end of the camp, his silhouette lit up by the already burning fires, as he roars then blasts another burst of fire across the camp. Shouts of "DRAGON" rise up across the camp as Osa charges past the outer lines of the camp that are no longer being observed by the sentries who have rushed off to help put out the fires.

Osa rides threw the camp unchallenged, the few Orangemen and Yellowmen who see her in the confusion and darkness, perceive her as a northern noble and step aside out of instinct and habit. In fact, as she rides up to the giants command tent, his own guard kneel and open the tent to allow her to ride in without stopping to dismount.

Inside the tent, Osa sees the giant getting dressed into dragon hide armor, with the help of four Yellowmen and a Redman. They all stop and look at the northern lord on the back of a black horse riding up to them.

The giant and his attendants all kneel then the giant says, "My lord, I was not expecting you. Prince Rindell said nothing of your arrival."

As Osa replies, "That's because he doesn't know I'm here," she is also shifting her Zentai into spiked battle armor, revealing her face. Simultaneously, Ekina trans forms back to her true from.

"YOU!" Shouts the giant. Shock and surprise of recognition. "GUARDS! Kill them!" he shouts further orders.

A cyclone of wind meets a gout of fire to become a flaming tornado that sets everything in the tent as well as the tent itself on fire. The Yellowmen scurry in an attempt to escape harm. The Redman gets caught up in the flaming cyclone, his skin and muscles scorched and melted away. The Orangemen from outside, attempt to enter but are met with over whelming heat and the sight of the burning Redman, causing them to pause and reconsider their actions.

Stepping threw the flames, in his fire proof dragon hide armour, the giant walks straight towards Osa and Ekina, now gripping a massive claymore sword and huge round shield in the same manor a normal man holds a short sword and buckler. The giant says, "I should have killed you last time, now I will kill you both." He swings his sword at Osa, but his sword gets deflected by the spikes of her Zentai.

Ekina runs over beside the pool that the prince uses to communicate with his forces, while Osa defends against the giant. Osa shifts her Zentai losing the spikes and forming blades off both her wrists equal in length to the giant's sword. Ever swing he makes at her she blocks, but she is forced back a step with each impact. Three, four, five strikes in a row, slowly forcing Osa up against a flaming column that used to support the now burnt away tent. The giant swings his sword, and Osa ducks out of the way, causing the huge sword to get stuck in the thick wooden support beam.

Osa rushes over to her sister as the giant slowly pries his sword free. When he turns around, he is met by the gripping claws of the swiftly moving dragon. The dragon lifts the giant into the air higher and higher, as the giant struggles to force himself out of the dragons grip. Ultimately, the giant succeeds in freeing his sword arm and stabs the dragon in the leg, causing the dragon to release his captor. As soon as the giant starts falling, he realizes how far up he is, halfway to the cloud line. The giants long slow decent is accompanied only by his silent scream as he watches the ground approach as ever increasing speeds.

At the last moment, the dragon swoops down and grabs the giant, dropping him in front of Osa and Ekina then landing near them. The giant is laying on the ground shaking in terror and vomiting up the contents of his stomach as Osa walks towards him.

Osa says, "You tortured me. You hurt me. You raped me. And now I find you wearing the skin of a dragon as armor." Osa's hands turn to fists, and the giant begins to scream in pain as the water in his body begins to boil from the inside out. Blisters appear on his skin, his eyes melt in their sockets, steam rises from his skin as it begins to melt away. Fluids ooze and leak from the giants armor long after his screams have gone quiet.

Osa turns to look at her sister and the dragon, when she notices in the flames, thousands of Orangemen standing there, surrounding them, watching them in fear and awe. Osa ignores them and returns to Ekina, "My egg, please." Ekina compels her silver Zentai to push the egg out from under her robs and present it to Osa, who in turn, takes it and presents it to the dragon saying, "You fulfilled your promise to me, so I fulfil my promise to you."

The dragon bends down and gently takes the egg in his mouth, then launches himself into the air flying off into the night.

Osa and Ekina step into pool that Osa saw the giant using to communicate with the prince. Holding hands, the sister command the power of air, water, and fire into the pool. The water begins to bubble and swirl around them slowly rising in an inverted where pool, the bright light of the burning camp fade, then the water drops way reveling a torch lit room deep within the castle.
