The Druid mopped his brow as Tyrande attempted to pull him into bed yet again. "My love!" He panted.
"There is still work to be done today." The woman ran him ragged. That alone would not be bad at all. In fact, he was quite into that aspect. Where it wore him out was the growing bombardment of requests over the past week or so to 'change things up', to 'add a little spice' or to just go a little further for fun, as she explained.
Tyrande laid on her side, tracing from her thigh, over her hip to her waist and back with her finger to try to entice him back to bed. They had barely even gotten to the good stuff, in her mind.
"My love, you sound so halfhearted. Is it that difficult to do what I ask?"
"Of course." Malfurion treated it the same as he had the past few times she brought it up. He laughed it off and stood up, dressing himself to his usual minimal standards to oversee the grove in Teldrassil. Once he was read he leaned over the bed, took her hand and kissed her. She kissed him back, but sighed obviously as he explained.
"Because I respect you. Our love is built on respect. I can not seriously do the things you ask of me." He blustered.
"I will admit, I have been a little strange ever since that private concert."
"Since then? What in that concert, or that gathering could have triggered this type of shift?" He wondered out loud.
"I'm not sure." She shrugged, sitting up and walking over to the music box on her vanity in just a lacy nightgown. She was hoping that simply moving around in that state would be enough to reel him back, but he simply left, offering as he walked through the door.
"That Maura is talented, but our own agents have said that there are aspects of her story worth looking into."
"Perhaps." She mumbled to herself, opening the box, winding it and letting it go. Tyrande sat down crossing one leg over the other, huffed and closed her eyes as she listened to the words. She nodded along, even through the imperceptible pauses and empty verses that were a trademark of Maura.
"Won't do all of the things I ask for." She pouted, bouncing her foot up and down anxiously. Tyrande inhaled slowly as the song rounded its chorus then slumped as it reached its end. She stood up to wind it again but stopped herself.
"What do I really, really want..." She blushed. Could she even say it? She shook her head, opened the box and overwound it so that the song would play over and over as she shut the door, locked it and laid herself down on her bed. The priestess shut her eyes and began to think and imagine a scenario.
A summit. Somewhere... somewhere a suitable partner could reasonably be where they would run into the High Priestess of Elune by chance. She could not think of any, so she simply made up the idea that maybe, at one point she would humour setting up a summit in... Booty Bay. No, Ratchet. No, no no. Gadgetzan. That's... fine. It's close to the Caverns of Time and Silithus. So she began to imagine who the man she would be trying to meet was. She formed him in her mind. Someone big. Someone... rude and strong. Very rude. Offensive. Insultingly so. Not intelligent, no, at least not smarter than her. She smiled. But he would act like it.
What could it be? An elf? For some reason she felt there wasn't a chance in hell. A human? No, they had to be big. Kul'tiran? Yes. But green. She shook her head and wondered what she was thinking, but it felt right that an orc was being thought of, and once she thought of it, that image did not leave her mind. It couldn't.
In her mental recreation she stood in Gadgetzan with her arms crossed, confused how she supposedly got there, why and why an orc was the first thing that both came to and stuck in her mind. She obviously built this scenario with something in mind, but as she was thinking it through she was having second thoughts about her own psyche and where it was taking her.
"Well, I'm here. What now?" She looked around, imagining guards at first, then making them disappear.
"No. No, I don't think so. I'm definitely alone."
"Alone and vulnerable." The exact orc she imagined said in a gruff, stereotyped tone asn he appeared somewhere nearby and approached her. Tyrande looked around.
"Vulnerable to what? You?" She was incredulous.
"Who could believe that I of all Kaldorei would be vulnerable to a very basic orc that isn't even imagined to be a fighter? I can't even wrap my head around that idea."
"Yeah, I bet you got trouble wrapping your little head around a lotta ideas, huh?"
"Oh!" She perked up, blushing. Tyrande knew that it would be embarrassing to be seen showing her feelings like that, and the response was all wrong. She wound things back a little and instead of letting out that intonation she scowled at the imagined orc and said.
"You surely don't want to keep that tongue if you plan to use it to spin such crude sentences towards a Lady of Elune. We are not a meek people, orc."
The orc laughed in her face, because suddenly he was closer due to imagination mechanics. She leaned back, thinking that his breath would undoubtedly be foul. As she leaned back, a smile crossed her lips and she returned to her full height to confront the man and push him. It was her imagination. She could try, do and say whatever she wanted and he would also need to abide by those rules. She thought. That was when her imagination got away from her.
The orc reached forward and grabbed her neck in one of his large, rough hands, choking her lightly. She gasped and stared at him. She reached for his hand. No orc could actually lay a hand on her. It was unbelievable that she would not be able to fight back. It would be humiliating and wrong. So wrong...
"This is-" She cringed as she actually struggled. In her imagination she somehow could not muster herself to even consider beating even a simple orc. She was pulled to somewhere more private. Inside of a nearby building.
"D-Dammit. My weak elf body-" She blinked. She knew that she would never say something like that ever.
"Correction. You're the strongest. You're the best of your kind." The orc stated, bring his face close to hers as he loosened his grip, then finally just let her go before adding.
