Chapter 1

"Lyra Rayne, please step forward." Lyra rose from her seat and slowly walked to the front of the room. The League of Planets has become a major hub of commerce, and a bastion of freedom in our quadrant of the galaxy. However, recently wars have broken out on earth below us, mostly on religious grounds, but other conflicts are breaking out in other planets, and we need more in-depth intelligence around the galaxy."

"Lyra's position will involve higher level data gathering, espionage and negotiations when required. She has special training in intelligence, spying and extensive undercover operations. As everyone can tell, her beauty is one of her greatest assets and it gets her into areas others can't get to. Once there she has the tenacity, negotiation skills and drive that will allow her to succeed. She has also excelled in undercover operations and we are all looking forward to everything she brings to the table."

With that her boss handed her a badge and she turned to face the crowd and enjoy the applause. She enjoyed communing with all the celebrities, as well as the other agents of the service.
