Chapter 44
LEAVE IT
Late Evening Day 24
Bishop didn't look happy as we left but it just made sense in my head. Jonny knew plants, he knew Magic. The division of labor felt fair to me. And now that I knew the truth behind Jonny and Maracella, I was looking forward to being alone with him before Jess tried to drain my blood.
Jonny parked inside his plant house, driving through an open garage door, and pulled me from his truck, leading me over to his bed against the half-brick, half-glass wall.
"Was the plant thing a trick?" I asked before he kissed me.
"They're here. Somewhere. We'll find them in the morning." He kissed me again, more demanding this time. "I need to feel you. To know you're okay."
His hands cupped my ass and pulled me closer to him.
I unbuttoned his shirt and slid my hands across the front of his body. I traced over the bruises. "Do you want me to heal you?"
He grabbed my chin and made me look at him. "You know it's not about that, right?"
I had never thought about it before but now that he brought it up, did I? He was always getting into fights. A healer in his pocket was useful. One that did it through sex, even better. I sighed and backed away from him. "I hope not," I whispered.
He grabbed my hips and pulled me into him. His low growl vibrated over my ear, leaving a trail of chills down my neck. He turned me around. "Leave it." His hard cock pressed against my ass as he pushed me to a large wooden table in the middle of the room. He pushed my tights down, over my ass, leaving my legs trapped together, and bent me over the table. He pushed himself inside me quickly.
I gasped at his roughness as he drove himself inside me.
His hand fisted in my hair pinning me to the table.
It almost felt like Jonny was trying to punish me, but I liked it, so I wasn't sure how much of a punishment it was.
He spanked my ass and dug his fingers into its soft globe.
I moaned loudly as I came around his cock. I could have cried from intense pleasure but I held back my tears.
Jonny moaned with each thrust behind me. "You're fucking perfect." His voice was low and I barely heard him over the rain pelting the glass roof.
I blushed but he couldn't see it.
His hand loosened its grip on my hair and moved to the edge of the table as he caught his breath.
The tears I held back almost fell when Jonny slid out of me. I sighed, my body boneless and satisfied. Perfect? I adjusted my clothing and walked over to the roses, smelling the fragrant blossoms to distract myself from Jonny's words. I was definitely not perfect but it warmed my insides to know Jonny thought so. "How are your plants doing?"
He watched me closely. His bottom lip trapped between his teeth. I peeked over the roses as he tossed his shirt and belt on the table. He walked to a bag of dirt lying next to a big potted plant. "Bueno." He flipped open a knife and cut open the bag. "Except for this one." He pushed a few buttons on his phone and music played over speakers hidden in the walls.
A woman's sultry voice sang. Something about needing a gangsta; only they could love her better.
He spread the dirt from the bag around the base of the plant. "This one doesn't like my music."
I wasn't sure when I had gotten so close to him. "Maybe it's the smell?" I pointed to the bag. "Not the music."
