Stage 2-8: Boss Battle -- Devil Seth
HORNY DEVIL PASS -- CLEARED!! Appeared above my head.
WELL DONE!
By then Sonhadra's two suns were starting to dip towards the horizon, and I was laying in the sand staring up at the blue sky. The numbness of a fading orgasm tingled over the feminine curves of my body. I took another moment, letting my mind clear before sitting up. The bowl-shaped clearing was quiet now, the slate gray mountains reaching up on either side of me as if watching to see what I'd do next. A hot wind kicked up dusty clouds as I got back my feet.
Near one of the boulders scattered around, I saw a white box with a red cross on it. It was floating over the spot where Draknut had died. I walked over and grabbed it. The MED PACK dissolved into my palm, spreading a warm glow up my arm and through my chest as it restored my health points (HP: 65).
Unfortunately, it didn't restore my clothes, which meant I was still naked except for my purple half-jacket, high heeled boots and the belt and holster slung across my curvaceous hips. Not that that covered anything.
I took my time crossing the clearing, fiddling with my jacket as I went. After straightening it out, I zipped it up and managed to tuck my big breasts into it. I knew they wouldn't stay once the action started back up, but at it was something for now. As a man I'd never have given a second thought to running around without a shirt. It was interesting to realize how quickly having a pair of tits had made me self-conscious of it. Was it yet another impulse the game was implanting in my mind? Was it just my own societal expectation that women were supposed to keep their breasts covered? Maybe it was just that they were big and bouncy, and since I hadn't developed them naturally, I was aware of every single jiggle and bob as I walked around.
Pushing those thoughts out of my head, I thought back to my encounter with Draknut. He had told me the CHAMPION was dead. It must have been Eyla and Crowther that killed him. After all, the last I saw they were facing off with him and a crew of ZAUKs. Relieving, even exciting as that thought was, I still had no idea where they might be now or how to find them.
On the opposite side of the clearing, the trail curved a final time and I reached a row of ramshackle buildings. They were barely more than sheds really, but beyond was a familiar location. I didn't need DEVIL'S MINES to flash through my periphery to recognize the dusty valley I'd been brought to after being captured by the ZAUKs.
Once again, I could see the masses of ZAUK miners milling about. Mostly they were carrying pickaxes or pushing wheelbarrows in and out of holes in the mountainous walls of the valley. At the far end I noticed five air ships like the ones that had been used in the train robbery mission I'd failed. They were parked in a line next to a bigger building that looked straight out of an old western movie. It was two stories, with patchy weathered walls that may have been colorful once but had spent years being sand blasted by the wind. A wide porch stretched across the front of the building, with a rickety awning that looked like it might collapse at any moment. There were two ALPHA Zauknoids patrolling that, both wearing hodgepodge armor and carrying those odd rifles that were shaped like huge tuning forks.
At this end of the valley, I was hiding behind a row of three identical sheds. I could hear MOBs moving around on the other side. Just across the way was one slightly larger shack. There was an ALPHA stationed by the door to that building as well.
I scanned the DEVIL'S MINES for any sign of Eyla or Crowther. Maybe I could find them lurking somewhere or skirting the edges of the valley same as me. The entrance to the Breeding Pits was maybe halfway between my row of sheds and the big building. Not surprisingly, I didn't see any sign of them.
The big building was probably Devil Seth's HQ. I had no idea if I was ready for a boss battle yet, but I didn't know where else to look for a map or any information on my friends. I also had
no idea
how I was going to make it to the other side of this valley with one charge left in my Plasma Pistol. Even at my sexiest I doubted I could seduce an entire valley of ZAUKs.
As I considered my next course of action, it occurred to me that this was still a video game. I was looking at the boss level, which meant there almost
had
to be a way for me to gather supplies. What was in these sheds?
I crept along the side and peaked around the front to see what enemies I was dealing with. More ZAUKs were ambling to and from the three sheds. They seemed to be picking up or dropping off their tools. Glancing at my own dainty hands, I doubted that I could even lift one of the pickaxes. With my nonexistent CQC skills, I'd certainly never be able to wield one as a weapon.
It wasn't too difficult getting to the other side of the valley to investigate the other shack. All of the mining was happening further in, so I was able to circle a little further out and hurry across without being noticed. Creeping up to the building, I found an open window on the side. Fortunately, I had a high agility score, so climbing through it wasn't a problem. Inside I found almost exactly what I was looking for: weapons.
There were crates stacked along the walls, some of which were labelled "Boom" and had pictures of bombs painted on them. There was a whole row of those tuning fork rifles the ALPHAs used. I saw something that looked distinctly like the energy sword Clay had used back in the jungles on Cirkon. There were lots of weapons in here, this was definitely some kind of armory; probably stocked with something for any character who found this place. For me, I noticed a whole pile of BLAST PACKS on top of one of the crates.
"Hot piece of ass!" I nearly jumped out of my skin when an ALPHA chortled at me.
I couldn't believe I let myself get so distracted by the weapons stockpile, that I hadn't even noticed him! Never mind the fact that I'd climbed in here without even checking for enemy MOBs! I had to act quickly before he sounded an alarm or something.
"See something you like?" I stammered turning towards him.
