It's been five days since we arrived at this area. After some hills, the forest has changed again. It's more sparse now.
We have to be careful. If we stop in a clearing, there may be birds lurking. A snake that was running away from us was easily caught.
So far, we haven't found them. But yesterday, we came across the first tracks. Someone had been in the same cave. A day or two before. There were footprints at the exit, in the dirt. However, in the vegetation, the footprints disappeared. For now, we continue in that direction.
We find some kind of dead antelope. It hasn't been long. They've removed its horns and heart. Maybe the liver? They're the most valuable if you can't or don't want to carry everything. We're on the trail. If it's them.
Some scavengers have taken the rest of the body. And the insects had too. It's no longer usable. It must have been dead for a few hours. But we don't think more than a day. We move away. In the direction we assume they've taken.
We reach a stone wall. There're many caves around. It'll soon be dark. The sisters, Shi and I split up to investigate. But without losing sight of each other. I call Rui to help me as well.
After a while, Yi returns. She retrieves Yu and Shi along the way.
"They're there," she points to a relatively high cave. "Jia Xu, Bai Xuan and Bai Wan."
The twins and I approach. Their faces are difficult to read. The rest stay in the Residence for now. Prepared.
The entrance is wide. Then, it narrows into a tunnel. There're traps with alarms at the entrance. They're easy to avoid. The ones in the tunnel are more difficult. They'll know if we want to go through. But we can hear them from there. Jia Xu has been complaining for a while. It's getting worse.
"This map is useless. We won't find it," he continues to protest.
"We can't give up. If we find it, we can get many points. More than anyone else. Tell him, Xuan," Bai Wan assures again, timidly, even sounding scared.

Yi can't take it anymore and stands up. I stop her. If they notice, it's easy to defend behind the tunnel. I call Shi. We activate one of the traps.

"Ah, hello... We didn't know there was someone here. My female friend and I are looking for a place to spend the night before returning to camp. Can we accompany you? We're in stage seven. It would be safer to be together," Shi explains in an innocent voice.
She's quite convincing. I almost believe her. I hope they take the bait. There would be two girls with levels that are within their reach.
