Chapter Twenty-Six
The adventurers were wiped out. They had penetrated far. They were a stronger group, but my monster girls and the traps handled them. The lower level monster girls were the ones that were dying the most, but a werebear had also been killed in that attack.
I had to train them, I realized. Make sure they were better.
While we waited on Hela and Marwo's scouting report, I started training my monster girls. I would meet them in the labyrinth and we would discuss ways to fight basilisks, orcs, yuki-onna, and unicorns. Discuss tactics.
With Usiku's help, we trained the will o' wisps, wildhounds, satyrs, and oozes in new ideas to give them more of a chance against the stronger monster girls. Ambush tactics. Dirty tricks. There was no playing fair.
I wanted my monster girls to win.
Over the next few days, the adventurer wave waned. Finally, we went twelve hours without one. It looked like the current crop had been defeated or the survivors had given up and went to find easier dungeons.
To grind and level up and come back, I supposed.
I added more traps and passive defenses with the experience I was getting. More dead ends in the labyrinth. More ways for them to get lost or killed. I had to be ready for when we attacked the Twins. I didn't want there to be any chance that adventurers could find my Void Crystal.
"Okay," I said to my gathered monster girls. I was in our training room. I created it in the middle of the labyrinth. From here, they could get back to their posts fast if need be. It was on the level beneath the main dungeon. "We also need ideas if the Twins attack us again. I want to be ready."
Discussions were had. Monster girls put in their own inputs.
"We should make use of the mermaids and the hippocampi," said Maya. "They're very useful."
"We have the water room," I said. "They have to deal with them to get through to the throne room."
"Yeah," said Maya, "but I think we can do better. Make a room just to fight them."
I arched an eyebrow. "We're going to take the fight to them. That's the best plan."
"Is it?" she asked. "Marwo and Hela aren't back. It's been five days. These twins are not close by to us."
I considered that. I knew that Marwo and Hela had reached the twins and had scouted them. They couldn't fully explain everything. It was better to wait for them to come back. Leaving my dungeon undefended for a week...
That wasn't practical at all. The Twins had done it. What made them so self-confident that they could leave their domain unguarded for so long? They must have sent all their monster girls to attack us. Even one of their companions was with them, the gorgon.
I pondered that.
The next day, Hela and Marwo returned.
They scampered up to me as I sat on my throne, thinking about things. I did that a lot these days. The two wildhounds could easily walk on two legs, but they preferred to scurry about on their hands and feet in this playful manner when excited.
"Lord Leo!" Hela barked as she stopped before me, crouched on the balls of her feet with her legs spread wide, her small tits quivering.
"We're back!" Marwo said, her ears twitching. Both of their bushy tails wagged behind them.
"I can see that," I said.
"The Twins are so far away," said Marwo. "They're out in the Vorianil Mountains. They're such huge mountains west of Myrecilla. It took us two days of straight running to reach there. We didn't sleep at all."
"Damn," I muttered. It would take me even longer to march my army of monster girls there. I would go with them, of course. I had to sleep. "That far?"
"They've enslaved the dwarves of the mountains," added Hela. "They make them build things. They're making a fortress."
I groaned. "Really?" I leaned back at that. I didn't like that one bit. My fingers rubbed at the throne's armrest. "That must be why they sent all their monster girls. Or most of them. They have dwarves and fortifications. They must not be under pressure from adventurers."
"It's so mean," Marwo said. "The dwarves don't look happy at all."
"Not at all," added Hela. She rubbed her face into my crotch and whimpered. A moment later, Marwo was doing the same.
"How close did you get?" I asked.
"Not very." Hela shuddered. "The dwarves cleared away much of the woods. There's not much cover at all. We had to stay hidden."
I bit my lip. How to handle this?
I casually untied my robe, my thoughts struggling to focus on this new problem. Dwarf slaves. Fortifications. Could I even attack the Twins? But I had to. I had to kill Ziamili. They would send another attack on me one way or the other. I had to be ready for them. It was why I had upgraded to Level Two magic. I had to be as strong as them, but...
"Damn," I muttered.
The wildhounds grabbed my cock. They stroked me. A moment later, their tongues licked and lapped over the crown of my dick. I groaned as they did that. A shiver ran through me as their tongues dragged over my cock and stimulated me.
