"Have you ever seen one of her shows before?" Cody asked them both.

Sarah shook her head as Carly answered, "She has invited us a few times but usually the place is either sold out or we're too busy to go."

"If she does join I'm going to have to be careful with her," Cody said, shaking his head lightly.

"Why?" Carly asked.

"I know other dancers have kids. How is it so different for Garnet?" Carly asked, looking confused.

"She will be off stage for roughly six months to a year for birth and physical recovery, for a ballerina of her status that can be lethal to her keeping her premier statuts. That's assuming something doesn't change during pregnancy that can't be fixed or reversed, there's also the chance she can't regain her pre-pregnancy body. "Really?" Sarah asked, looking surprised, "She did not seem like it at all."

"Yup, as they both put it, dad handles income while mom handles payouts, if all the rumors are true my family alone moves and manages about a twelfth of the global economy," Cody answered nonchalantly.

Sarah's mouth opened in shock, "Cody isn't that eight to fifteen TRILLION DOLLARS!?"

Carly's head snapped to Sarah then to Cody who shrugged, "It changes every year but that does sound about right, There's a reason my dad is called king of economy. If he chose to, he could control the flow of money to wherever he wanted, there are few people who can rival him in economic power."

Cody sighed and looked sad, "Entitlement somehow, He was great, but after sixteen when we get kicked out of the house and giving a set amount and told to 'make it or don't, as Draechon tradition says you get three favors and that's it,' Leon unlike the rest of us didn't get a job or try to educate himself further, instead he partied," Cody shook his head slowly.

"At some point no one noticed till he was arrested for drug trafficking, that was his first favor and as per family rules dad cleaned it up, happened two more times but different charges, the second was for breaking and entering, he got into a well off families house and took half a million in jewelry to supply his habit, that was his second favor," Cody looked out the window speaking quietly.

"I still remember running into him, he was one homeless junkies you see downtown, going on about how rich he was and how important he was, he didn't even recognize me," Cody whispered, his eyes watering.

"I still remember hearing it from dad, Leon overdosed and was hospitalized, he lived but used his final favor to get out of jail, turns out when they found him he had enough drugs to get charged with a second trafficking charge. It was the only time I ever saw dad cry and curse the family rules, even now Leon's still out and about but we don't know if he is dead or alive," Cody said looking out the window just standing there.

"Couldn't your family do anything?" Carly asked after a few moments.

"Family rules," Cody said with a sneer, "'At sixteen years of age all children must go into the world to learn, only giving an apartment and one year of living expenses. The family must honor three requests and no more, the family cannot and will not interfere with the child's life no matter what unless the child asks for it'."

"That sounds cruel," Sarah remarked.

"It is, but those rules exist for a reason, had they not we all might have ended up like Leon," Cody said as he turned and walked to the couch.

"What was Leon like before then?" Carly asked.

Sarah cuddled into Cody while Carly took his other side, "Has your dad looked for Leon?" Carly asked.

"Yes, he's gone, dad can't find any trace of him which has him worried," Cody answered.

"If he was dead dad would have found him, but he's alive and can't be found, there aren't many places that someone can hide from dad. Which means someones hiding him which has dad worried but if Leon is being held hostage to be used against the Draechon family then that person needs to be at minimum a continental powerhouse like dad," Cody explained.
