He seemed to be waiting for something to happen, and Stephan wondered what was up.

Howling softly began behind them as the open area began to fill with the pack. He could feel his brother's presence as well as that of Director Metairie.

The howling became louder and then the crowd began to stomp their feet on the ground. The noise was deafening and Alisha grabbed Stephan around the waist, seeking the comfort of his arms.

Charles Dupac stifled the slightest bit of jealousy as he watched his daughter seek comfort from another man. This was her new life and he'd better get used to it.

"Welcome back to civilization Stephan Murphy and Alisha Dupac. As mates we honor your bond and invite you to greet your new pack mates!"

Charles reached for Persia and hugged her waist possessively not ready to lose another daughter so soon. Persia hugged her Father with her left arm but kept her hand holding tightly to Ralph's.

The pack greeted their new members and went off to start their day. Soon only the immediate families of the surprised couple were left.

"Alpha Dupac, I sincerely apologize for the outcome here this morning. But we have no say in this matter. I assure you that Alpha Chambers is a kind and fair leader and he will allow Alisha to visit you often." Stephan tried to explain.

"I does not matter if he does or not. His son will mate with Persia in seven years and there will be another bond among us. Believe me; you will tire of us very quickly."

Charles slapped Stephan on the back and pulled Alisha to him for a hug. Aphasia claimed her as well as Persia before she was handed back to her mate.

"Now where were you two off to?" Charles asked with a mischievous grin.

"I am sure you can hazard a guess." He answered as they entered the lobby.
