Dameia's Delight
By Ivaran Kealar
1.
The Quest got dispatched to the planet Morganthus, in search of the missing crew of the Remus. However, when the crew entered the atmosphere, an unseen force had dragged their ship down, forcing it to remain on the planet's surface. They divided into two different teams: A team had to stay on the vessel, but they ordered team B to investigate the strange pyramid.
Dameia, the blonde tech officer, had been dreading this mission from the start. She was in her twenties, had bright blue eyes, bouffant hair and a nice bust. She was a shy young woman who primarily avoided talking to men. Like the others, her uniform was cream coloured, she wore a backpack that had lights on, and she had her blaster gun ready to use on any hostiles.
The only men Dameia could talk to were Quuhod, Cabren, and Ranger. She was part of the crew that was tasked with investigating the mysterious pyramid.
"There'd better not be any worms in there," said Dameia with disgust. "I hate worms!"
Dameia was still shaken by the death of a team member.
Commander Ilvar was attacked by some strange tentacles, and he fell down into a perilous pit.
Dameia could not save the man, despite her best efforts, and it reduced her to tears. She followed her team members inside the colossal structure, against her own intuition.

The corridors inside the pyramid were dead, grey, weakly illuminated and claustrophobic. As the astronauts explored the rooms of the pyramid, Quuhod had lost his crystal death stars. The man had gone back to them but had been absent for five-to-ten minutes.
"Where's Quuhod," asked Cabren.
"He said he was looking for his crystals, but he isn't back yet," whimpered Alluma.
"I'll look for him," Dameia offered. "Besides, I'm worried about him."
"Okay, Dameia, but please be careful and return as soon as possible," said Cabren.
She smiled sweetly at him. "Don't worry, Cabren. I'll be back real soon, I promise."
Just like that, Dameia left the crew and carefully went in search of her lost teammate.

Dameia's courage had diminished within the minute.
Beads of sweat now dripped down her delicate face.
Her pace was slow at first. She glanced around carefully.
"Quuhod," she whispered. "Quuhod, are you here?"
There was no reply. The chamber seemed dead.
After walking for a while, she stopped dead in her footsteps. Her eyes widened.
She had discovered Quuhod's severed arm, completely covered with maggots. Dameia remained there, temporarily paralysed by fear. She got her gun and incinerated the worms.
"Quuhod," she whispered, with tears in her eyes.
Dameia had a moment of silence, but then moved on. She saw a door leading to a balcony and decided that she needed to call the Quest. Regrettably, she missed a maggot.
4.
"This is Dameia calling the Quest, do you read me?" She stood outside, trying to contact the ship. Her efforts were useless. Something was jamming the signal. "This is Dameia calling the Quest. Do you read me?" Unluckily, it forced her to head back inside the pyramid.
5.
Going back inside the pyramid had felt different. Dameia got a bad feeling, like something was looking at her from the shadows. She couldn't shake the feeling of being stalked. Her heart raced intensely. Her stomach had turned to ice.
Dameia came across where she thought the exit was, but now it was just a wall. She blindly searched for the way out. A terrible idea crossed her mind.
"This pyramid feels alive," Dameia whined, trembling. "This was supposed to be the exit! Dammit, I'm trapped here. Help! Help! Cabren! Alluma! Ranger! Someone, help me!"
Dameia hit the wall hard, weeping and shouting.
No one could hear her. They isolated her from her friends.
Dameia tried to find another exit, but her feet slid to the floor.
There seemed to be a viscous slime trail on the floor, which wasn't there before.
Dameia slipped and slid, somehow going to the slime trail's source. She walked backwards, bumping into something big. She turned around gingerly. There, she saw it: something from her nightmares.
Standing before the hysterical woman was a giant maggot with many pink phallic tentacles; which resembled flexible penises. He had a rubberized body and an enormous mouth.
Dameia screamed as the maggot puked its slime all over the tentacles and caressed her. She tried to escape, but the phallic appendages had restricted her movements.
