Tricked into Turning a Trick Part 3 -- The Price for Silence
The physical toll on Amanda's body was evident. Every muscle in her body ached every time she moved. Even swallowing the most basic liquids was a painful ordeal. But what hurt the most was her anus, which was in persistent pain. The ensuing days were challenging for Amanda as she was forced to walk gingerly wherever she went. Yet, the emotional pain ran even deeper. The aftermath weighed heavily on her psyche. Once again, she was defiled and humiliated sexually, but there was an unsettling appeal that she struggled with internally.
Amanda made a conscious effort to compartmentalize these issues. With graduation right around the corner, she wanted to focus on finishing school. Over the next few weeks, she did her best to maintain a semblance of normalcy in her high school life. She went to class, studied, and most of all she steered clear of the liquor store.
The culmination of her efforts proved successful as Amanda graduated from high school. The joy on her mother's face during the graduation ceremony validated all the work she put in. Dressed in her cap and gown, she stood proudly, as her mom took pictures of the moment.
"Congratulations Bitch!" Jenn exclaimed as she ran up and hugged Amanda.
"Congratulations!" Amanda shouted back, with a big smile that lit up her face. It was the first time in the past few weeks that she felt genuine happiness.
"I can't believe we did it. I honestly didn't think we were going to make it." Jenn confessed. "Are you going to Johnny's graduation party tonight?"
"Oh, I don't know." Amanda waffled.
"What? You have to go! We have to celebrate! It's a graduation party for Christ's sake!"
"Okay, okay. I'll be there."
"Damn better be. I'll see you there tonight. Better not fucking flake." Jenn scolded Amanda, grabbing her by the shoulders and looking intensely into her eyes.
"I'll be there. I promise," Amanda reassured.
Jenn gave Amanda one more hug before she hopped on over to another group of friends to congratulate them.
On the drive home, Amanda gazed out the window at the palm trees and beautiful California blue sky and reflected on the day. She felt a rare sense of pride in herself, but her mom quickly brought her back to reality.
"So now that you have graduated have you decided what you plan on doing?" her mom inquired.
"Mom, it's literally been like an hour and you're already on me about this?" Amanda sighed, attempting to convey annoyance.
"I'm just saying, honey, now that you've graduated you need to figure out what you want to do with your life."
"I'll figure something out."
"Well, you better start contributing. Living with me is no longer free. It's time for you to pull your fair share now. I can't keep doing these double shifts anymore."
As Amanda's mom continued talking, she turned into the parking lot of the local grocery store.
"Where are you going?" Amanda asked.
"We need some groceries. I'm going to make you your favorite meal tonight."
Amanda and her mom entered the grocery store. The store was bright and filled with shoppers. Together they strolled down aisle after aisle, picking items off the shelves -- a loaf of bread, some chicken stock, a 12-pack of cola, a pound of sugar, and various other items on her mom's shopping list. As they neared the end of the list, Amanda's mom decided to divide and conquer.
"Amanda, we need some milk. Why don't you run over and grab a carton? I'm going to the vegetable section."
Amanda nodded, acknowledging her mother's instructions and watched as she continued pushing the cart down the aisle. Amanda headed in the opposite direction to find the milk. Upon reaching the dairy section, she started scanning the cartons - skim, whole, 2%. That's the one she needed as she grabbed a carton. When she turned to head to the vegetable section, she looked up and saw an unmistakable face. Rick was standing right before her.
"Hello Princess, fancy seeing you here," Rick said.
Amanda's eyes widened, and her heart sank at the sight of Rick standing before her. He was dressed in his usual power suit, as though he had just stepped out of his office. She had to admit to herself that he did look good, but this was the last thing she needed right now.
"What are you doing here?" Amanda asked. She glanced around anxiously, concerned her mother might catch her talking to him.
"You don't think I buy groceries?" Rick retorted. He was holding a small basket with a few items in them.
"No, I guess not. It's not a good time right now." Amanda said, trying to hasten the conversation.
"I haven't seen you around the liquor store?"
"I've been busy."
"You're not trying to avoid me are you?"
"No, of course not," Amanda lied.
"Good, because I have a proposition for you. I'm having a bachelor party with a bunch of the guys tomorrow night, and you'd be perfect entertainment."
Amanda's eyes widened in disbelief and fear as she began shaking her head no.
