The open road stretched on for miles in front of Ophelia. While sometimes the solitude of traveling alone would get to her, but being able to see so many new things made her happy. She fancied herself an explorer of sorts. Ophelia knew it was silly because everywhere she went had been seen by someone else, it was still the first time she had seen it and that filled her with excitement.
Each state Ophelia went to brought a new sense of adventure. The little towns were her favorite to experience. The old buildings were always lovely to see, leaving her with a feeling of being in another time. She would find herself dreaming about what could be up the road or around the corner. She was lost in her thoughts when she saw the blue flashing lights in her rear view mirror.
*Fuck! Just what I need right now.*
Ophelia thought as she pulled over to the side of the road. The officer waited a moment and Ophelia pulled out her license and insurance, keeping an eye out of her rearview mirror for the officer. After several minutes that seemed like hours the officer got out of his car and walked to the passenger side of Ophelia's car. She was a nervous wreck as she rolled down her window. The officer squatted down as he looked around inside her car.
"License and insurance, please," the officer said firmly. "What brings you through here? We don't get a lot of people out of state around these parts," he continued as he looked down at her license.
"I'm just traveling around for my vacation," Ophelia nervously said. "Is there a reason I was pulled over? I don't think I was speeding or anything."
"Oh, your vehicle matches the description of a car involved in some crimes near the area. Let me run your info and you should be back on your way," the officer said with a smile before walking back to his car.
Ophelia breathed a sigh of relief as her nerves eased and all the tension left her body. She waited as the officer sat in his car running her license. As he walked back towards her passenger side, she couldn't help but feel the nervousness return slightly. He squatted down before handing her license and insurance back to her.
"I'm gonna need you to step out of the car, ma'am," he said as he looked her in the eye.
"Why? Is something wrong?" Ophelia asked as her anxiety rose.
"Yes, it looks like your tire has gone flat. I'll help you change it, but put the car in park and get out. It would make it easier to change that way." The officer said as he gave her a reassuring smile.
*Great, the last thing I need is a flat tire!*
Ophelia thought as she stepped out of the car.
"Can you grab the jack out of the trunk?" The officer asked.
"Sure," Ophelia replied, "I'll grab it."
She opened the trunk and was looking around when a hand grabbed her wrist, yanking it behind her. The pain of cold steel as the handcuff tightened around her wrist shot through her for a second before her arm was wrenched behind her. She lost her balance as he grabbed her other wrist and cuffed it behind her back. She cried out in pain as he shoved her into the trunk and quickly shut it on her.
Ophelia began to cry for help as she kicked the side of the trunk.
"Cunt, I swear I'll leave your body in a ditch and make it look like a robbery gone wrong," the officer yelled at her. "I'm on the fucking phone and your shit isn't helping me." Terror gripped Ophelia and she went quiet as the officer continued his phone call. "Look, she is perfect for what we need. She's from out of state and has a nice set of birthing hips," he said before walking away to where she couldn't hear him anymore.
The tears rolled down Ophelia's face as she waited in the dark trunk. She could hear a car pull up and a man begin to speak with the officer. What they were saying was hard to make out, but it wasn't long till one of them got into her car. Soon the engine roared and she could feel the car begin to move. She could only imagine the horrible things that awaited her when the car stopped.
It wasn't long before the car slowed and the engine turned off. Ophelia's heart raced as she heard the car door open. She could hear her heartbeat as the footsteps got closer to the trunk. When it opened she looked up to see a man in overalls looking down at her with a grin.
"You're a nice piece of ass if I ever saw one," he said.
"Let me go!" Ophelia snapped at him.
"Let me go! Let me go!" He mocked her before slapping her across the face and grabbing her by the hair, dragging her out of the trunk. "You think I care what the breeding stock thinks? Stupid slut," he said as he began dragging her away from her car.
Ophelia began to fight against his grip as the gravel and dirt dug into her legs. She saw the headlights of the officer's patrol car pulling up.
"Please! Please, let me go," Ophelia kept pleading as she tried to free herself.
