Twenty-two-year-old Daisy Campbell had been a teacher at Mercury secondary school for just over the three months her eighteen-year-old brother Alan was also there currently studying his A levels at the school.
Daisy stood at five feet five, piercing blue eyes and had thick brunette hair that cascaded down her slim bronzed body she kept her body in shape by going on a daily three jog it was always the first thing she did in the morning after brushing her teeth not only did pounding the streets help her stay in shape Daisy also found it relaxing and de stressing she made most of her big decisions in life while out on her daily jog.
When she wasn't working Daisy enjoyed playing tennis, watching movies, horrors and romcoms being her favourites and shopping she would spend most of her wages on cosmetics, nail and hair products.
She enjoyed being pampered and got her hair cut fortnightly Daisy looked after herself and liked to look nice but she wasn't vain far from it despite her undeniable natural beauty she was insecure about her body she had never had sex with the light on and she didn't own a dress she was always in either jeans, joggers or leggings and always wore tops that covered up her pert and perfectly defined bum.
Her brother Alan had always been a relatively popular lad with a close bunch of friends much like Daisy though he was quite shy around those that he didn't know or was intimidated by but relentlessly sarcastic and funny around those that he trusted. However recently Daisy had noticed that he had become a little withdrawn and quiet even around her.
Daisy had tried to quiz him several times about what was on his mind each time though her normally passive brother would just scream at her that he's okay Daisy knew him well enough to know that he was hiding something though and was determined to get to the bottom of it.
Daisy decided to speak to Alan's best friend Michael the pair had been friends since primary school and up to recently had been inseparable asking Michael to stay behind after her Mathematics class she asked. "What's gone on with Alan? Why has he gone so quiet?"
Michael looked at Daisy. "I don't know Daisy." He declared.
"It's Miss Campbell we're at school." She declared before continuing. "Michael, I've known you most of your life so I can tell when you're lying so I'll ask you again what's wrong with my brother and this time don't lie to me." Daisy said in her sternest tone.
Michael relented and explained. "Okay but I didn't tell you. It's Lewis Harper he and his mates have been bullying him it started off with just a few words at school then it moved onto cyber bullying and now they have got physical with him constantly hitting him in the stomach so that it doesn't bruise him it's really affected him he won't even talk to me about it and we've always share everything. I'm really worried about him. I've never seen him so down."
Daisy knew exactly who Lewis Harper was. He was a handsome, blonde haired six foot three eighteen-year-old A level student who was extremely smart when he wanted to be. Lewis had bright blue eyes and a pale complexion to his toned frame. He captained the school football team and from what Daisy had heard the other pupils saying a very talented boxer too. He was also the toughest lad at the school and was dating the most popular girl, a pretty mixed-race girl named Amber Stevens. The one thing that Daisy didn't like about Lewis was his arrogant, cocksure attitude. She had always disliked overconfident men.
Lewis though hasn't had the best upbringing in life he lived in the roughest estate in his town his dad Gary had been in and out of prison his entire life for things such as fighting and drug dealing. Daisy didn't know much about his mum other than that she had never turned up for any parents' evenings and could never be contacted when the school phoned her.
"Why on earth would they bully Alan? I've barely seen them speak." Asked Daisy.
"He liked one of Amber's pictures on her socials. I think Lewis has taken it as Alan was trying to disrespect him." Michael explained
Daisy shook her head in disbelief; she couldn't believe that such a small thing had blown up into such a drama. "Thank you Michael I promise I won't tell a soul what you've just disclosed to me." Daisy replied.
Daisy wasn't due to teach Lewis until her final class tomorrow and was unsure of what would be the best way of trying to sort out her brothers bullying.
As always Daisy did her thinking during her morning three-mile jog around the village that she lived in. She decided that the best plan was to speak to Lewis and let him know that she knew what he had been doing to her brother and that she wouldn't tolerate it any longer.
After waiting all day her final class was over all her pupils had just risen to their feet when Daisy said. "Wait there please Lewis I need a quick word with you."
"Ooooohhhhhh." The rest of the class giggled as the left Daisy was usually a very fair and patient teacher who was incredibly popular with her students, so they all quickly hushed when she turned and scowled at them with menace and anger in her eyes.
Once the final pupil had left the room leaving her alone with Lewis who was sitting on his chair leaning back arms out wide chewing on his gum. "What's the problem miss?" He smirked nonchalantly.
"Right, I'll only say this once you're to leave my brother alone I promise you if you don't as your teacher, you'll regret it." Daisy hissed angrily wanting Lewis to know that she was serious about her threats.
"What's that little grass been saying?" Lewis asked.
"He hasn't said anything. I saw you and your friends attacking him with my very own eyes and take this as your one and only warning." Daisy growled trying her best to make her soft voice sound spiteful.
Lewis, still sitting on the chair chuckling loudly, his mouth wide open he rose to his feet and walked up to Daisy scowling threateningly at his teacher nose to nose. "That's funny, miss you, threatening me. What are you going to do? Give me detention? Drop my grades?"
Trying her best to hide her fear. "All that and more." Daisy barked.
Lewis once more sniggered loudly this time in her face. "You stupid bitch." He said smirking widely as he walked toward the exit of the classroom shaking his head.
"What a silly cunt." He laughed as he walked out Daisy unsure if she had made matters better or worse was shaking like a leaf as she sat herself down onto her wooden chair.
As much as she tried to deny Lewis's nonchalant attitude toward her had really affected her his demeanour was so chilled, yet his words cut like a knife.
She couldn't help but break down in tears burying her face inside the palms of her hands as she sobbed thinking that she had possibly made things even worse for her brother.
Hearing her classroom door squeak open Daisy quickly lifted her face from her hands; her usually immaculate makeup had been smeared by her tears. It was Mr. Evans the sixty-year-old PE teacher. "Whatever is matter?" He asked as he wrapped his burly arms around her to console her.
"Nothing......honestly it's nothing I'm just being silly that's all." Daisy lied holding back her tears in the process.
