Authors note: I have wanted to write something with a "genie" for some time. A creature that just exists to grant wishes, I wanted to see if I could make some sense out of it as a concept. This episode we have him testing his new power and planning for the future.
I need to test the big power, bending others to my will. I should have asked for directions, or phrased it differently. It least I don't think I was tricked by Nimbus; he even marked my aura as a friend.
It is Saturday afternoon; I need to find some way to test my new power. Too early to go to the bar, maybe the gym. I grab a change of clothes and head out.
30 minutes and a bus ride later I arrive, if this works, I need to get a car.
I walk up to the juice bar and decide this is as good a test. "Give me a mango smoothie for free."
"Um, you need to pay for it, do you want me to make one for you? It will be $6."
Well, I didn't say anything about speaking, maybe I need to just concentrate. [Say 'Meep, meep' and make the smoothie and tell me it is on the house.]
"Meep, meep. I'll just make one for you, it's on the house."
A few minutes later I am enjoying a smoothie, time for another test.
[I am going to scream as loud as I can, you will ignore it]
Ok, here goes, "Arrrrgggghhhhhhh!" and no reaction. So many questions now, what is my range? Can I control people that can't see me?
On one of the TVs is the news being reported, I focus on the news anchor [At the end of the next 2 sentences say the word 'meep']
"NASA reveals rescue mission for astronauts, says troubled craft will return without them, meep. NASA officials announced on Saturday that the troubled Boeing Starliner spacecraft that shuttled two astronauts to space in June will return to earth without them, meep. Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams have been stuck in space after engineers discovered helium leaks and issues involving thrusters shortly after Boeing's CST-100 Starliner docked with the International Space Station, which prompted NASA and Boeing to investigate."
Wow, I controlled someone from miles away just by seeing them on the TV. Ok, I have been playing it safe, this one could get me in trouble.
[I am going to enter the women's changing room, nobody will be able to perceive me as I enter Meep or inside]
Here goes, I push the door open and expect to hear screams or curses, nothing happens.
There are two women getting ready for a workout and one in the showers. I walk up to the shower stall and move aside the curtain to see her. No reaction. She's a bit older and not someone I would be attracted to normally but she is naked in the shower, that does count for something. I let her finish showering.
I sit down on the bench when another woman comes in to change. She doesn't see me either. "Can anyone see or hear me?"
Nothing.
As tests go this is amazing. I need to think things through but I really can bend the will of anyone to my will.
I leave the gym; I need to spend some time planning this out. I see a dog on the sidewalk, no leash or tags.
[Bark]
The dog just sits there. I guess I did only ask for the ability to command humans, maybe I will expand the power when I make any future wishes.
I'm standing there waiting for the bus and I see Gina Kwan walking into the gym, my plans change suddenly.
[Gina, after your workout you will go over Lucas Jones' apartment. As you get closer to him you will get more attracted to him.]
Oh, this is going to be good. The bus is pulling up, time to go.

I need to plan out how I use any future wishes, I can bend the will of any human to my will but I'm still very vulnerable, need to correct that in my next encounter with an Aerian. If I plan this correctly I can free the remainder of them and gain power for myself.
Next thing has to be a protection from injury and disease.
There is a knock on the door. I open it up and there is Gina fresh from her workout.
"Oh, hello Gina."
"Hello Lucas, I'm not sure we have been introduced."
Let's see how she reacts,
"Come on in."
As she passes by me, I see her shudder.
[Gina, you feel dirty from your workout. You will ask to use the shower, when you are done, you will not get dressed so you can seduce Lucas. You will do anything to get Lucas to sleep with you.]
"Lucas, do you mind if I use your shower? I had an intense workout. "
"Oh, of course not. There should be a spare towel in the cabinet under the sink."
She winks at me and goes into the bathroom. I can't believe this is happening, Gina is a knockout and in the 2 years we have been at the same gym we haven't interacted barely at all. We have been in some classes and I guess she remembered my name; I wasn't sure about that until a few minutes ago.
I hear the water running and I guess she sings in the shower; she has a nice voice. There is no way she would go out with me if I asked her for a date but here, she is in my shower, singing like an angel. I'm at the table looking at my phone when the water stops, this is going to be interesting.
The door opens and she is wearing just a towel, her long brown hair is wet and her skin seems to glow across her body. I've seen her legs in exercise outfits but they are amazing, I never checked but I guess she's about 5'7" and the towel is barely covering her midsection.
"Thank you, Lucas, I just felt icky. Mind if I sit down?"
Before my brain can speak, she moves over and sits on the edge of the bed.
"Why don't you come over and sit with me, we could talk for a few minutes", she pauses and winks at me again, "or something."
I get up and sit next to her on the bed, as I do this her towel comes undone exposing her completely. Her outfits at the gym leave little to the imagination but seeing her naked is better than I imagined.
"Oops."
