Now, before we truly begin,
I have a small, nearly inconsequential task for you,
Before I have you truly drop down,
I want you to take a moment,
And just think about the best, most comfortable and enthralling experience you have had with hypnosis
For some of you, this will of course remind you of one of our sessions,
Perhaps one of my files that you enjoyed oh so much,
But I imagine,
For the most of you,
You are imagining something like this,
Laying down, or sitting in a chair,
Paying attention to someones words,
As they circle your mind,
Close off other thoughts,
And place you right where you want to be,
Into a deep, but relaxing trance.
I may be wrong,
But I doubt it.
I imagine you are thinking about how good it felt to drop,
How good it felt to obey,
Just allowing your thoughts, wishes and wills to be molded,
Shaped,
Trapped,
For a time of course.
The freedom that provides, is so unique is it not?
To be free of thoughts.
To be free of worries,
Of stress.
Just think, how much you want to be back in that place.
We both know you want to just drop,
To sink and to follow,
So now,
Allow yourself to do so,
Give yourself permission to drop,
And do it at this time.
Say it with me now.
"I want to Drop, I want to sink,"
Good.
Now then, lets give you what you want.
Afterall, you just spent a few minutes imagining it,
So you must be invested.
Just like before,
Just like then,
All you need to do,
Is follow,
Is listen,
Is obey.
See? It's so easy.
You are already doing it.
Now, at this time,
Take a moment to adjust your body,
Find the perfect posture that feels tailor-made for you.
As you exhale slowly, release any lingering tension or stress, feeling it disperse with each breath.
Continue to breathe deeply and rhythmically, permitting your body to relax and settle into the supporting surface beneath you.
Feel the chair or the bed embracing you, coaxing you to release and let go.
Direct your attention to your breath now.
Observe the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each inhalation and exhalation.
As you breathe in, visualize inhaling a wave of calmness and relaxation.
Sense the cool, soothing air entering your body, filling you with a profound sense of tranquility.
With each exhale, envision releasing any burdens or worries that may weigh you down.
Feel the warm air leaving your body, carrying away all the stresses and concerns of the day.
Allow your breath to act as a purifying and rejuvenating force, nurturing you with each cycle.
With each inhalation, imagine the breath expanding and permeating your entire being.
Feel it reaching every cell, every muscle, and every fiber, saturating your being with a deep sense of relaxation.
Experience the relaxation as it spreads throughout your body, akin to a gentle wave of serenity.
As the wave of relaxation washes over your forehead, feel the muscles there loosen and surrender to calmness.
Sensations of worry or tension gently fade away, leaving behind an expression of serenity and peace.
Now, allow the wave of relaxation to descend further, encompassing your eyes.
Feel the muscles around your eyes soften and unwind completely, as if they are being cradled tenderly by a warm, radiant light.
Sense your eyelids becoming heavy, your eyes deeply relaxed, resembling tranquil pools of stillness.
As the wave continues its journey, let it flow down to your jaw.
Experience the tension in your jaw muscles melting away, as if a gentle hand is massaging away any tightness or strain.
Allow your jaw to soften and relax, freeing it from any clenching or stress.
Shift your attention to your neck and shoulders.
Notice any areas of tightness or tension residing there.
As the wave of relaxation moves through your neck and shoulders, imagine it gently unraveling and releasing any knots or tightness, akin to a compassionate touch that eases all discomfort.
Feel your neck and shoulders growing lighter and more at ease, as if they are floating on a cloud of tranquility.
Allow the wave to descend further, embracing your arms and hands.
Visualize the warm light enveloping your arms, soothing and alleviating any stress or discomfort.
Observe as your muscles become limp and relaxed, surrendering to a state of profound peace.
Sense your arms and hands feeling weightless and completely at rest.
Now, turn your awareness towards your chest and abdomen.
With a deep breath, visualize the wave of relaxation filling this area, expanding with each inhalation.
As you breathe in, imagine inhaling a profound sense of calmness and peace.
As you exhale, envision releasing any worries or thoughts that may clutter your mind.
Feel your body becoming lighter and more relaxed with each breath.
Notice the tension dissolving from your muscles, your mind growing tranquil, and an all-encompassing calmness enveloping your entire being.
Surrender to the gentle rhythm of your breath, allowing it to guide you into a state of deep relaxation.
Observe your chest and abdomen rising and falling gently with each breath,
Witnessing how they become increasingly relaxed and at ease with each exhale.
Experience the steady cadence of your breath,
Akin to a soothing lullaby that serenades your entire being.
Now, let the wave of relaxation continue its descent, reaching your lower back and hips.
Feel any lingering tension or tightness in this area dissipating, as if being carried away by the warm, radiant light.
Sense your lower back and hips becoming supple and at ease, akin to a soft cushion that perfectly supports your body.
