"Did you just see that girl wearing the blue dress?"

"What girl?" Ash asked. "I've been sitting here quietly for the last thirty minutes eating my lunch."

"I've seen her following you around now for about a week," Jasper replied.

"What girl?" Ash asked again. This time he started looking around for a girl in a blue dress. "I don't see anyone."

"She normally shows up when you come to the diner for your supper and then follows you around for the rest of the night."

"So, Jasper why didn't you tell me about her a week ago?"

"It didn't seem important a week ago, Jasper answered. "But today, I saw her trying to get close enough to you so she could see your phone."

"What?...Why would she wanna see my phone?"

I'm sure I don't know," Jasper answered, "But she sure is a pretty lady."

Ash sighted.

--------

Several days passed, but Ash saw no one. He was just about to give up on the idea when a pretty blonde haired woman walked past him and bumped into him.

"I'm sorry," she said and smiled so sweetly. "I guess I wasn't watching where I was going."

She started to walk away but then turned around. "Aren't you the science teacher over at the college?"

"Yes," he replied I am. "Why do you ask?"

"Is she the one following me around?"

"I've a friend who took your class a few months ago..." Once again a big welcoming smile, "and recommended it to me because my major is in the science department."

"I see," Ash responded. "And are you planning to attend?"

"I'm not sure yet," she replied. "Perhaps, we could have lunch together soon and discuss it."

He noticed how her big blue eyes twinkled as she spoke.

"Was she flirting?"

"I'm free for lunch tomorrow," he told her, figuring she'd be too busy to attend, and unsure he wanted to have lunch."

"I'm free!" she said brightly. "What time and where?"

After the arrangements were made they parted company, or so he thought.

Just behind him, several steps back, she followed. She had her hand in her pocket fondling something intently.

---------------

Class ended and lunch time arrived. Ash went to the agreed upon restaurant and took a seat. He still hoped she wouldn't attend but just like a clock ticking away she arrived with a smile on her face and a present in her hands.

"I just wanted to thank you for agreeing to have lunch and talk about your class," she handed him the box and sat down. He opened the box and was amazed to be gifted his favorite chocolate.

"How did you find this chocolate?" he inquired. "Not only is it difficult to find but few people know I like it."

"I like it too," she assured him. "I was able to get some just the other day and saved you some just to say thank you."

"But how did you know I liked it?" he asked again.

"I didn't..." she paused for a moment as if she was thinking of an answer. "I just like it so much I can't imagine anyone not liking it."

He smiled back. Maybe she would be a great addition to his next class which was opening up soon. Maybe she could be more then that...

Time passed and as promised class opened only to find her there right up front waiting for class to begin.

She smiled sweetly and said "Hello" as he entered the room.

"Are you enjoying your candy?" she asked him just after class when the room was empty except for the pair of them.

"I've not been feeling well lately," he replied. "So, I've put the candy aside until I'm feeling better."

"Would you like me to come over and make you some healthy food?" she asked. "I'd hate to miss class because you're not feeling well."

He smiled. "That'd be kind of you," he answered.

"Well, give me your address and I'll be over tonight," she promised him.

That evening, just as promised she arrived carrying a large bag of groceries with a big yellow flower sticking out of the top of the bag.

He smiled and just opened the door allowing her to enter.

She disappeared into the kitchen only to reappear when the food was ready to be eaten.

He laid down the papers he'd been grading and went to the kitchen table.

She had arranged the food on the table with candles and the flower in the center. "Have a seat," she told him as she started to put portions of food on his plate.

He sat down, smiled and replied. "Boy, that smells delicious."

She smiled back but this time not so sweetly.

"Do you remember a girl named, Sally?"

She moved to stand behind him.

"Sally?" he inquired. He sure remembered Sally. "She'd been in his class a few months ago and claimed to be pregnant with his child. Yes, they'd dated and yes they'd had sex. But, child? He'd told her that the child wasn't his and refused to take care of her. After a few more months passed and she kept at he'd refused to see her anymore.

"Yes," she replied. "That Sally..." she paused a moment and he felt his hands being tied quickly to the chair behind his back.

"Sally was my sister..." she told him quietly. "She died in child birth. I bet you didn't know that. If you'd done the right thing by her she'd still be alive."

"Hey now..." he started to talk. She twisted his chair around and picked up his bowl of food. "Now, lets eat and talk about it." A twisted smile crossed her face and a pointed knife appeared in her hand...

"I heard a scream," a neighbor told the policeman after they'd entered the apartment. "He's normally home alone. So, it was a surprise for me to hear noise coming out of that apartment."

An ambulance appeared and they entered the apartment with a bed in tow. On the floor surrounded by his own blood lay ash. Beside him was his cock cut off and cut up...He whimpered...

"The child wasn't mine..." he sobbed.
