NONMONOGAMY (EHTICAL?)
(Standard Cuck Warning.)
Larry Morgan and his wife Elaine were tucked up in bed after sex. She had her head on his shoulder, as she had many times before.
She said, "Larry, I was reading about ethical nonmonogamy." She stopped there because she felt Larry stiffen up. A whole-body stiff, to be exact. Except his cock, which remained flaccid.
He slowly extricated himself from her embrace, sat up in bed and gave her a truly questioning look.
He said, "Okay. What's on your mind? Because this was nice. Overdue but nice."
"I'm sorry about lack of desire lately, Larry. Empty nest, maybe."
They had been married coming up on twenty-five years. Both were forty-six. Their son and daughter were at university. Truth be told, Larry thought that he had taken the empty nest thing harder than she. He had for years been the more involved parent, working from home often. Always making the sports games and concerts.
After the comment, Larry decided to be careful. He said, "I really hope that this evening was not about a request. You know, for a hall pass."
She sighed. She sat up, looking him in the eye. She said, "I found the articles intriguing. They said how new experiences broadened the marital relationship."
Larry was still being careful. He felt as if shit had probably already happened that he wouldn't like. Nothing ethical about that. But he couldn't be sure. What he was sure about was the lack of marital sex for several weeks, until tonight. They were both attractive and in good shape physically. Yet a dry spell. Now this.
He said, "You're talking about open marriage. Right?"
She paused. She said, "If both of us agreed, you know, maybe it could reinvigorate our....."
She stopped because Larry had suddenly leapt out of the bed. He was standing over her. He did not look pleased.
He asked, "Who? Who is it?"
"Oh, Larry. Don't jump to conclusions. It was only an interesting idea that I read about. Forget it."
Larry was not placated. He said, "As I understand it, ethical nonmonogamy is something that requires agreement by both spouses. Right?"
"Of course."
"I don't agree. I'll never agree. If you want someone else, say that and we can part ways."
"I don't want that. I don't. You've taken this all wrong. If you don't agree, then it won't happen. I only thought that...we're both....we could both get new experiences."
"We can take a trip to Iceland for new experiences. Or Thailand. The Congo, maybe. You mean fuck other people."
"That's crude." She was upset.
"Maybe it is. But another thing about this ethical cheating is that all information is supposed to be on the table before a decision can be made, right?"
"Yes." She was extremely uncomfortable now.
But her discomfort didn't hold a candle to Larry's simmering rage. They'd been together a long time and she'd seen that rage only a few times. She saw it now, and she was scared.
She said, "Please calm down. I never should have spoken about it. You say no, and that's the end of it."
Larry stared at her. He considered that a major lie on her part. He turned and walked into the bathroom. She could hear him in there. Pissing. She tried to consider how to save the situation.
And the situation needed saving because he was perfectly correct that she had someone in mind for her first ethical nonmonogamy adventure. Nick Jamison, a new hire at her company. A younger dream boat in his mid-thirties. A salesman. And he had the goods to make the sale. For two months the two had flirted. Started mildly, and now here she was, risking her peaceful marriage.
She knew her husband. He'd find out about Nick. Larry ran his own cyber-security firm. It was Nick who suggested the ethical ploy. He wanted in her pants, and he made no bones about that. So far, she'd never even allowed a kiss. So far.
But the reason for her proposal was that she really, truly wanted to get fucked by Nick. Not just a quickie at the office, either. A whole weekend, maybe. She wasn't going to sneak off to some cheap motel. She wanted the entire experience, like it said in the articles she read.
After pissing, Larry ran hot water into the sink and started shaving. It calmed him down and allowed him to consider what had happened. But the more he thought it through, the less he liked it. It seemed to him that his wife had withheld sex for a few weeks to get him primed. She must have thought he'd be grateful. Easier to persuade. But it had only pissed him off.
He finished shaving. He showered. More time to think. What he was considering now was where he was going to sleep that night. Because he was not going to sleep with Lainie. He dried off and walked out to the bedroom. Lainie was watching him carefully.
She said, "Larry. I mean it. Please forget it."
Larry said nothing. He got some underwear, shorts, a tee. Dressed.
Lainie said, "Larry. Larry...." Now she was close to frantic.
He grabbed his slip-on sneakers, put his wallet and phone in his pockets and walked out. Lainie followed him.
"Where are you going? It was just an idea. Larry..." She was pleading now, but he walked out the front door. She stood there in her robe and watched as he got into his truck and drove away.
She closed the door and sank into the recliner. She was stunned. She was leaking tears. Jesus! This was so over the top. He couldn't know about Nick. Not yet. But he knew....he knew that there was someone.
She thought to warn Nick to watch out. It wouldn't take Larry long to figure it out. And maybe he'd do something to Nick. Shit!
But she didn't call Nick. It was mostly his fault. He'd come after her. If he suffered, okay. One thing for sure. He wasn't getting what he wanted from her. No matter what happened with Larry. She'd begun seeing him in a new light, and she didn't like what she saw. Well....except for his fantastic body. Verboten for her, now. Anyway, he was a snake. Easy to see now. Not so easy when he was right there with her. And even if he was a snake, she still wanted a nice weekend with him. Alas!
Meanwhile Larry went to his office. He fired up his computer. The one he used when he needed to be discrete. And he broke into the G & F Inc. computer system. He found the new hires. Only one in the correct time frame. Nick Jamison, a new sales rep. He did the social media search on the guy. Married, two kids. The guy looked magnificent. A blond bombshell of the masculine persuasion. Larry could see what Lainie might see in him.
He gathered all the info he needed about the guy. Then he got his Glock forty out of the gun safe at work. He stuck it in the hip holster. This was an open carry state.
He also put a small .22 revolver in his pants pocket. That gun was not in the gun safe. It was in his bottom desk drawer, covered by manilla envelopes. It was a ghost gun that he'd picked up some years before. He loaded it with shorts.
Larry went out and got into his pick-up. He drove to the other side of the county, where Nick Jamison and his family lived. He drove around the house and the block. It was midnight. No lights were on in the house. There didn't seem to be any extra security. And Larry looked carefully.
He sat and thought it all over. Then he drove back to his office and put the guns away. He slept on the couch. He had a toothbrush and razor there for the morning, and there was a shower by the basement gym.
He had silenced his phone. He looked at it. Several messages from Elaine. He ignored those. He slept okay on the couch. It wasn't the first time he'd used it. Always for work until now.
In the morning, Larry strapped up again and drove back to Nick's house. Nick came out at eight am. His wife and child also came out at that time. Nick got into a Benz by himself. The others got into a mini-van and off they all went.
Larry followed Nick. Nick didn't go to the company office. Instead, he went to an office park and parked by a plumber's office. He went in. Larry figured that it was a sales call. The lot wasn't crowded. Nick was parked off in the corner. Larry thought he didn't want the customer to see the Benz. Larry pulled his truck near the Benz. Nick came out thirty minutes later.
Larry was leaning on the Benz. His holster was there, facing Nick. Nick stopped about ten yards away.
Nick said, "Who are you. I'll call the cops." He reached for his pocket.
Larry said, "I'm Larry Morgan, Elaine's husband. You're Nick. The ethical nonmonogamy guy."
Nick started backing away. He was saying, "Nothing has happened. Not a damn thing! No need for this."
"For what? I wanted a small powwow. You know, maybe I could come to your house and discuss the nonmonogamy stuff with you and Nancy. See how it's working out for you two."
Nick said, "No. Not a good idea. That was just something for Elaine, maybe. I would never..."
Larry casually unsnapped the holster.
Nick turned very pale.
Larry said, "No lies, Nicky. Could cost you a lot to lie. Your family. Maybe more."
"What do you want?"
"Thing is Nicky, she only broached the idea last night. She never mentioned anything about you. Yet, you know, here I am this morning. I'm very good at some stuff."
"What do you want? I'm a very happily married man. I don't need trouble."
"I want you to ghost her. Completely. No touches, no jokes, when you see her walk the other way. That's the rule. Break the rule, bad shit happens. Got it?"
"Yeah. I mean it was only harmless....."
