December 27

I got up at six, put my own clothes back on, and went out to shovel the driveway. Janice had shown me where the shovel was in the garage and had given me to code for the garage door. It took me less than two hours to finish and I was tired and definitely sweaty when I finished. I took a little more time learning the shower controls to find the massage setting. I stayed in longer than I normally would, enjoying the heat and pulsing water on sore muscles.

I dried off and went back into the bedroom. The intake of breath was less than yesterday, but It still got my attention. Michelle was standing there this time. Tom Jr. wanted to make himself known to the daughter, the same way he did to the mother, so he started to stand up. I reacted as slow as yesterday, but I did eventually turn to go back to the bathroom. I heard a moaned "Mom was not exaggerating." As I closed the door.

As former military, and current security specialist, I kept myself fit. I didn't look like a body builder, but I did have definition. I'm also a little above average at about 7 inches. Not huge, but I've never had complaints.

I noticed a new set of clothes on the bed so I got dressed and went downstairs. This time, Janice had cooked breakfast. Pancakes and sausage. I loved it, and I let her know. She blushed, and thanked me. She said that Michelle had liked them before they moved here, so she wanted to try again. I told her she was successful. The blush was deeper this time.

After breakfast, I cleaned up while they got ready to ride to town. I pulled the SUV out of the garage and let it run to heat up. The neighborhood had been plowed and we made it to town easily. I wanted to shop for groceries, but wanted to hi the big box home improvement store first, so Janice asked if I could drop them off at the mall first. She asked if I could do all my shopping before coming back to get them. I'd do anything to avoid mall shopping, so I agreed.

I got several bags of ice melt for the driveway. I figured it would assist the heated driveway system if we were going to get a lot more snow. I also got a proper snow shovel. Not that plastic thing I had to use this morning. Oh, and I got some gloves. I hate blisters. I didn't have any yet, but I had gotten close. Another day of shoveling and I'd definitely have some.

I then went to the grocery store and got everything on my list and a few things not on the list. Janice had given me McAllister's card and told me his account was still active.

I called Janice and told her I was on my way. She said they were near the food court, so they would pick up some Chinese for all of us and they'd be right out. I parked outside the food court entrance and waited only a few minutes. I didn't expect to see so many bags, but I didn't recognize them until they were close to the SUV. I jumped out to help and scolded them for not calling me to help carry the bags.

Michelle just stopped and stared at me. Janice smiled a big smile. She looked at her daughter and said "I told you he was a real man."

"McAllister never helped with anything we wanted to do." Michelle explained, "He'd make us carry our own bags, even when we went on a cruise. He had someone to carry his bags, but we were left to do our own. Of course, that was after he started trying to get us to, you know. He said if we agreed, we'd have people to help us as well. Neither Mom, nor I, thought that was a good trade off."

We took everything back to the house and took it in and put it away. I asked Janice if I could borrow the SUV to head back to my house and get some stuff and talk to my soon-to-be ex. She readily agreed and off I went. I dreaded the conversation, but I knew it had to be done.

I parked in front of the house. I hadn't been here to shovel the driveway. Debbie's car hadn't been moved, so I knew she'd be here. I didn't expect her to be watching for me. She came running out to me before I got halfway up the driveway. Before I could sop her, she jumped on me and knocked me down in the snow.

"Debbie, Get off of me! Let me up!"

She was blubbering and crying, hugging me tightly. I had to roll over so that I was on top of her to get away from her.

"Debbie! If you want to talk, let's go inside."

I walked ahead of her and entered the house. I wanted to make this as short as possible, so I didn't sit down. Debbie came in, looking contrite.

"Tom! You don't understand! I was drugged! I was taken into that room without my consent. I didn't cheat on you!"

I held up my hand, cutting her off.

"I'll make this quick, Debbie. I had a source inside the house that confirmed that you were a regular at McAllister's house."

Before I could stop her, she screamed "I didn't have an affair with Winston McAllister!"

"Oh, I know you didn't. I have it on good authority that McAllister couldn't have a physical relationship with anyone. But you worked for him, serving his clients. On a regular basis. Most of the time when you were supposedly at your Mother's. By the way, I called Sharon. She thanked me for calling. She thinks I called to forgive her, so I could let you start visiting her again. At least half of the trips to Tennessee were actually trips to McAllister's house, weren't they?"

"It's not.."

"What it looks like? Is that what you were going to say? You were going to McAllister's to suck and fuck other men!"

"It wasn't supposed to go like this! Was going to stop last month, but Winston said he'd send videos to you if I didn't go to the Christmas Bash! I was going to stop, so we could start working on a family, but he was blackmailing me."

"But he was blackmailing you with videos from times you went there willingly! Why! Was I not enough for you? Did you not love me?"

"Oh, Tom! I love you and only you! I was just doing it to keep my job. Winston paid me a lot of money! More than I made before I wasn't going to do it until he showed me the first check. You were never supposed to find out about it. That's why I started going there when I usually went to Tennessee. I knew you never called while I was at Mom's. You never checked up on me.

"Please Tom, this has never affected us. I never denied you sex. If anything, we made love more often!"

"STOP! Never affected us? You left me alone at Christmas! Don't say this never affected us. Not only that, but you were giving away something that should have only belonged to me! We made vows to each other, in front of friends and family.

"But, it wasn't an affair. No, that actually would have been better! I still wouldn't have accepted it, but It wouldn't have been as bad as whoring yourself out!"

"No! It wasn't like that! I wasn't a whore!"

"You had sex with multiple men, and you were paid for it! What would you call it?"

"It wasn't like that! My job title was Hospitality Consultant. I wasn't paid for sex, it was just part of my job. A small part. Most of the time, I was just coordinating benefits for clients. Lining up other women, making sure they were healthy and confirming that they would be discreet."

"So, beside whoring, you were also pimping? And that makes it better somehow?"

"I wasn't whoring, stop saying that! I was just providing a service as part of my new job."

"Why? Your job was Family Law. Why weren't you doing that job."

Debbie stopped and got very quiet. She wouldn't look as me.

"I had to do it to stay employed. I didn't have a choice. If I didn't, I would have been fired."

"Are you saying you were blackmailed twice? Once to do this job, and again to keep doing it? Why didn't you just quit? It would have been a little difficult for a while, but you could have gotten a job somewhere else."

"No. I couldn't."

"Why not?"

"Winston had a big case he was working when his best friend was caught cheating by his wife and served with divorce. Winston assigned the case to me. He said I had he best record. I think he set me up for failure. His friend was a serial cheater and his wife had evidence of at least 4 women that he was sleeping with. There was no way I could win the case. I didn't know that when I accepted the case.

"After losing the case, he told me that he was going to prove that I had lost on purpose because I didn't like cheaters. I would lose my license and not be able to practice law again.

"At first, I was just the coordinator. For almost a year, I just arranged for women to get tested for STDs, made sure they signed Non Disclosure Agreements, and I was in charge of he schedule. After about six months, he told me it wasn't enough. He told me I was more attractive than most of the women I was hiring, so I needed to start scheduling myself in the rotation. I was going to quit, but he showed me photographs that he had photoshopped showing me giving him blowjobs. I knew it wasn't me, but they looked so real."

He said the pictures would be mailed to you anonymously, unless I participated."

"Why didn't you come to me? You know what my job includes. I could have helped you."

"When he first gave me the job, I had two reasons. One, I didn't want you to know I lost a case and could lose my license. Second, he was paying me a lot more than I made doing Family Law. I could do that job for a couple of years and have enough to take a leave of absence to start a family. I wanted to have your kids and stay home with the children, at least until they started school.

"When he told me I had to participate, I tried to get out of it. I was going to do it once, and claim it was rape. I even got some of that date rape drug that I was going to take once I left, so it would still be in my system when I went to the hospital."

"Why didn't that work."

"No. I can't say that."

"You have to. You need to tell me, after telling me this much. Why didn't you go through with that plan?"

I could barely hear the answer, so I asked her to repeat it.

"Because I liked it."

"You liked it? You liked cheating on me?"

"I didn't consider it cheating, Tom. I was being blackmailed, basically forced to do it."

"But why, then? What did you like about it? What convinced you to keep doing it, instead of claiming rape?"

"Once it started, I realized it was exciting, the illicit thrill of doing something naughty. Something I would never do otherwise. The thrill of having sex with another man that you didn't know about. Oh, God! When I say it out loud, it does sound like cheating, doesn't it? Oh Tom, I'm so sorry. I never should have agreed to do it! I never should have continued! I'm so sorry I have hurt you! Can you ever forgive me?"

"I don't know that I can ever forgive you. I do know that we are through. I cannot live with a cheater. If you had come to me, I could have saved you from this and we'd still be together."

"But Tom, I love only you! I want only you. I want to have your children, and only your children."

"You may love only me, but you just admitted to wanting these other men. Even if only for the thrill, you wanted them. That's why you continued. And I couldn't have children with someone that would do this to me. It's better to divorce now, before children are brought into this."

"No, I don't want a divorce."

"Please don't fight this. I have graphic video. I won't make it public, or even show it to your mother, but just one still image from it will be enough to ruin your relationships with family and friends. I really don't want to do this.

"And in case you don't know yet, McAllister is dead. He cannot hold anything over your head. If you don't fight this, I'll see if I have enough influence to help you get back to Family Law practice. I'll conduct a search to make sure any pictures he may have created are destroyed, any evidence at all is gone."

"Why would you do that for me?"

"I wouldn't be doing it for you. I'd be doing it for me. I need to move on with my life. If doing that helps you, that's a risk I have to take. Please think about it. The papers are in progress already I haven't talked with Jeff today, but it could be as early as tomorrow. It'll be fair to both of us. I'll even call Jeff and tell him to give you the house, if you want it. If not, we'll sell it and split the proceeds."

"Sell the house. I'll get something smaller. I'll let your lawyer know where to find the account I put the money in, so it's included as well. It's only fair, since earning that money is what caused all this mess. Once again, I am so sorry, and so embarrassed, that I caused you this pain. I didn't consider it cheating until you made me take a look at it from the outside."

With that, I left. I hadn't expected that much detail when I came over, so that took longer than I expected. I needed to get home before it got dark. The radio confirmed that more bad weather is coming. I still needed to spread ice melt on the driveway.

When I got back to the house, I was confronted by Janice and Michelle, wanting me to tell them what was said. I told them I needed to get ready for the next system coming in and it would also give me time to decompress. I'd fill them in later.

So, I got the spreader and ice melt and made my passes back and forth along the driveway until I had enough coverage to melt the snow and/or ice from the next weather system. I had to refill several times, because it was a big driveway, long and wide enough for two cars until you got 20 feet from the garage, then it widened enough for three cars.

Janice had dinner ready by the time I finished and we ate pretty much in silence. Only talking a little bit about when the snow might start again and how much we might get.

I cleared the table and washed the dishes. Still trying to ready myself to repeat the story I was given earlier in the day. Once I finished, I went to the living room. Janice and Michelle had moved the easy chair to sit right in front of the couch for easier talking. It looked close enough that we might actually bump knees if we moved too much.

After I sat, I took a deep breath and told the entire story. I didn't realize how much it wore me out until I got to the part about splitting everything evenly.

"Ladies, I am completely worn out and my brain is fried. I need to go upstairs and go to bed. Thank you for listening to me. I feel like I can call both of you friends right now. Thanks for letting me stay in your home. I am going to bed now."

"Not before letting us give you a hug. You need it right now, and Michelle and I both want you to know that we are both here for you. We consider you a friend as well. Hopefully, a really good friend. Let us hug you."

I stood and let them wrap their arms around me. First together, then individually. The group hug was very comforting, but when Janice hugged me alone, she molded her body to mine. It felt like we were hugging from shoulder to toe. She held onto me for several minutes, I know she could tell that the hug was waking Tom, Jr.

When she released me, Michelle repeated the full body hug. If anything, she held me tighter. Unlike her mom, who rested her head on my shoulder, she looked into my eyes. I returned her gaze, and I was lost in those beautiful eyes. As the hug continued, I tilted my head down, and she tilted hers up. I was unable to resist her. If she hadn't pulled away, I'm pretty sure I would have tried to kiss her.

"Tom," Janice said. "We got you a set of flannel pajamas at the mall today. You may not sleep in them, but you might want to consider putting them on before coming out of the bathroom. I do have a key that will open all the bedrooms. Who knows when I might have to come in while you are in the shower."

She and Michelle giggled a little when she talked about the pajamas. It was kinda funny, looking back at it. Especially considering that Michelle was there on purpose that second time, and I hadn't learned my lesson.

I went upstairs and got ready for bed. I was too tired for a shower, and I had one after shoveling the driveway, so I figured I'd be okay. I stripped down to my boxer briefs and got in bed, hoping tomorrow would be a better day.

Before drifting off to sleep, I thought back to the hugs earlier. They both felt good, and not just physically. I could still feel and smell Michelle against me, and then I remembered Janice. I was in trouble. Two beautiful women, and I was going to be trapped in the same house with both of them.

December 28

When I woke, I looked at my phone to see the time. It was just a little after seven. I quickly got up, took a shower, and got dressed. I wanted to be prepared for the snow that was coming. As I got dressed, I realized that after my confrontation with Debbie, I had forgotten all about picking up the rest of my personal items. I didn't know how long I'd be staying at the McAllister house, but I did need some things, especially if I moved back to my office.

I went downstairs quietly. The ladies still seemed to be asleep. The snow hadn't started yet, not expected until midday. I made a quick breakfast of leftover biscuits and some jam I found. I did something I should have done months ago. I checked Debbie's Find Me location. It showed her on the road toward the law firm. I took that as a sign and grabbed my keys and left the house. I made the drive to my old house in silence. I turned the radio off so I could try to think about my next steps. Should I find an apartment or try to live out of he office for a while.

I was no closer to a decision when I realized that I had stopped in front of the house. Debbie's car was not there, so I quickly went inside, found another suitcase, and started packing the rest of my clothes. The suitcase wasn't enough, so I grabbed a garbage bags for my more casual clothes. My nicer stuff would go in the suitcase. I made sure to pack up my home computer, my tablet, etc.

Without incident, I drove back to the house and unloaded my stuff. Michelle wasn't in the living room, so Janice asked me to sit down when I had finished. 'Here it comes.' I thought. 'She thinks I'm getting too comfortable here. I should have asked first.'

"I'm sorry, Janice. I should have asked before bringing more stuff into your house. Tomorrow I'll start looking for a place to move to. I'm going to let Debbie have the house, so I'll need a place. I'll move back to my office in the meantime."

"Tom, no! I want you to stay here! I mean, you're welcome to stay as long as you like. I just wanted you to tell me if anything happened. Are you OK?"

"I'm fine. Debbie wasn't home. It was a little sad, leaving my home and realizing I would never live there again, raising kids like I wanted."

Michelle came running into the room. "It's snowing again. Really big flakes! Are we going to be snowed in again?"

Janice grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. If you've ever lived in the South, you know any snowstorm brings weather crews out of the woodwork. Local channels preempt everything for almost 24 hour coverage, only taking breaks for commercials. Sure enough, they were on the air, discussing how much snow would be expected, how long the snow would fall, and when we could start to find out about school closings. Looks like we could be here through the new year.

"We picked up enough groceries when we went shopping to last through the worst of the storm. Janice, do you know if there are any canned goods in the pantry? Also, any candles in case the power goes out?"

"McAllister had everything stocked: canned goods, dry goods, you name it. I'd bet there's even some survivalist food kits somewhere. As for the power, we have a couple of big emergency generators that will come on automatically when the power goes out. And they're hooked to gas, so we'll have power."

Bam! Bam! Bam! Someone was beating on the front door. Janice went to see who it was.

Debbie stood in the doorway with fire in her eyes. Before I could get to her, she starting screaming at Janice.
