I Will See You In The Morning Alt

I read the original and several other alternates for this different approach to the February Sucks Genre. I thought there is another possible way that this story could have played out. It shouldn't take long to do, I'm going to attempt my first 750 story. I hope you enjoy.

Permission to use George Andersen's story has already been granted in a block grant for anyone to use. I believe LJA644 started this version and he said 'go for it' himself so hopefully everyone will get a kick out of 'my take' on this trope.

My exceptionally lovely wife Linda wanted to celebrate Valentines Day with a night out for us. She said that she didn't intend her friends to all join in, but somehow they all did anyway. I really don't care for Linda's friends but, I don't mind them too much.

We all had dinner together and then all walked over to the ballroom as a group for dancing. Linda reminded me that we wouldn't be here long. She said that she figured we be here for an hour at the most for dancing, before we would be heading back to our hotel suite for the best part of our Valentines day celebration.

We had several lovely dances, my wife, Linda and I. The beer was flowing and everyone in our group was smiling and laughing. Suddenly there was a hush in the room as the famous local NFL player and his entourage walked in like a king entering his court.

Linda looked up as Dee excitedly asked, "Isn't the Mark LaValliere?" to our group.

Before she was answered he was there, standing behind me holding his hand out to ask Linda to dance. She never said a word, just rose, smiled, and joined him on the dance floor for several provocative slow dances. I quickly grew irritated and began to stand up to interrupt their overly friendly dancing.

"Jim, let her have this. It is only a dance." Dee begged. Pleading for me not to interrupt their overly sexually charged flirtatious slutty dancing. It looked like they were virtually having sex while standing up.

"I guess you don't care if my wife dances like a slut with this asshole, LaValliere." I said, as I tried my best to shrug off Dee's hands on my arm.

"Look, they're coming back this way now. Nothing for you to be upset about now, Jim. Just relax, everything is 'OK'." reassured Dave as we all watched the two returning towards our table. I turn my chair to watch their approach.

Linda walks back to our table, stops to pickup her purse with a frightened look, and as she turns to walk away she purrs "I'll see you in the morning." to me.

"Wait, don't I even get a kiss goodbye before you leave with your lover?" I said.

Linda stops, looks lovingly up at LaValliere, and then says, "this will just take a moment." as they both quickly walk 3 steps back toward me.

I remain sitting as she drags LaValliere with her, as she bends over to give me a loving kiss. As a big surprise to the entire ballroom, as soon as LaValliere is within striking distance again...

I PUNCH HIM RIGHT IN THE NUTS as hard and as fast as I can. I have always prided myself on having a super quick and super hard punch. It has never failed me when dealing with bullies in high school. I frequently laid a bully out with one punch, it has always been my trick secret weapon.

No one ever saw it coming and I was never punished for it in high school. Consequently, I have always trained for it when ever I work out. I realized early on in life, that this was a great talent to have. Who needs Karate when the fight is already over in just one quick punch.

Linda just stood there, completely stunned watching LaValliere laying on the floor holding his crotch and crying like a baby as he puked his guts out. I reach down to her left hand and remove her wedding ring set, quickly putting them in my shirt pocket.

"Thanks for the kiss goodbye Linda. That will be the last one that You ever get from me. By the way, don't bother coming home. Just go stay at your folks until the divorce is final."

"Jim, it was just going to be one night." Dee tried to explain.

"Yeah, Jim. It was Mark LaValliere, our local NFL team Champion Tight End." Dave tried to explain.

"Fuck Around, and Find Out." I said, then got up and left.
