The chapters are written in chronological order. For a better understanding of the characters and their mindsets I would recommend reading the chapters in order of publication.
If you do not like stories of wives who stray or marriages where partners are shared I would consider moving on to other stories that are available.
For those of you that have and provided comments, thank you. I have continually tried to incorporate the comments in my works where appropriate.
Prologue - The story is from the POV of the husband of a 42 year old wife/mother who was very content with her life. Things change when she is assigned to a project out of town. It is the first time she has lived totally independent and she finds the freedom intoxicating, add in a charismatic neighbor and you have recipe for trouble.
Chapter 6
After the weekend of coming clean about the cameras we spoke and texted each day just to see how each of us was doing and we appeared to be doing fine. Frankie let me know that Jess was coming over Wednesday night for dinner and wine and we already agreed that Jess was an automatic and she didn't need approval since that relationship had been going strong for months.
Thursday afternoon she called and mentioned the dinner/banquet she asked me to accompany her to but I had to decline due to a business conflict. The banquet was for the Alumnus who the building, she was project manager for, was going to be named after. It was an important function and she had to attend but she didn't want to go on her own. Since I couldn't attend she had arranged to be picked up and escorted by a friend from the college, Ryan Gunderson. Ryan was Director of Special Projects for the college and her liaison on the renovation project. She mentioned he was around 30 and recently divorced. I appeared to be over the sharing of Frankie with others problem except where it came to Jason. So I asked her, "Is there a possibility of more than a ride."
She answered, "There is always a possibility but I looked at him as a friend."
I said, "Invite him in when he shows to pick you up I want to check him out. Maybe you can tease him some." I then said, "Have fun but if things change let me know."
He showed up promptly at the scheduled time of 6:30 PM. Frankie invited him in, said, "Have a seat I will just be a few minutes." She was wearing a short black cocktail dress with a string of pearls and black 4" heels. Frankie looked very classy and sexy. She went into the kitchen and pretended she needed something from the top shelf and stretched to reach it showing her black thong with a lot of ass cheek she had underneath her short dress, she wasn't wearing stockings. Ryan expression was priceless and asked Frankie if she needed help. She declined and then said we better get going.
At about 10PM I received a text from Frankie stating, "I had a good time. Ryan has been a gentleman we are leaving now. Can I invite him in?"
I responded, "You have my permission."
I followed with another text, "Take it easy on him; he seems to be very vulnerable."
I got a laughing smiley face back.
They arrived about 30 minutes later and I saw them walking up to the door. They talked for a little bit and Frankie asked, "Would you like to come in for a nightcap?"
Ryan didn't hesitate and said, "I would love to."
Frankie poured two glasses of Pinot Noir and sat on the love seat and patted the seat next to her for Ryan to sit down. He looked very nervous. Ryan stated, "I understand your husband lives a few hours away."
Frankie responded, "The job is just to far from home to commute so I have the apartment and we get together on weekends."
After a little more chit chat Frankie looked right at him and said, "I want to thank you for a real nice time tonight I really didn't want to show up unescorted."
She went on to say, "I am sorry to hear about your divorce."
He responded, "It has been a rough six months and this is the first time I have been out on a date since then."
