What can I tell you about our life on our farm? Well first there was nothing easy about our life on the farm. Ours was a very nice big farm and over 360 acres most of it row crop ground. Thank goodness for neighbors who helped farm. We all helped each other or it would have taken too many hours to do that many acres.
I was very lucky that I had 12 neighbors in our area who helped out. But ten were single men on farms of their own or hired men who worked for them. My wife Carrie Sue's parents were killed in a car wreck and she inherited their farm. I'd worked for her dad. William and Marsha Grout were 46 and 43 when they died.
We have owned the farm for nearly a year now. We had crops in and were about to cut hay the first cutting this year. Seth Heartman brought his mower over and was cutting hay. I had Carrie's dads old mower and I was cutting another field. I cut until I had finished my field before I came in for dinner. I knew my wife was a bit upset when I came in but she said nothing nor did I until after I had set down to eat.
"You seem a bit upset Carrie. Has something happened to upset you?"
"Yes maybe just a little David. Seth and Wadell stopped for dinner and you know old Seth, he says things some times are much better unsaid."
"What did he say?"
"He says my mom and dad had some things worked out with the neighbors thing."
"What kind of things?"
"There are ten men in the area who are widows or just single men. Mary Holman, Sally Nackles and mother took care of the sexual needs in the community for the guys."
"You are kidding, he really said that?"
"Yes, and he says mother was by far the best at it. Do you think it is true?"
"No Babe I don't think it is true, I know it is."
"How, how do you know?"
"Your dad told me. He also told me you would need to carry the weight of the neighbors, too some day."
"That is what Seth talked about right in front of Wadell, today. He said it is time and they would be back for super tonight and after, for that too."
"They were talking about fucking you after the meal tonight?"
"Oh my David, can you let that happen?"
"Yes Dear, it is part of the farming agreement they all made years ago. Your mother was fucking 25 different men at one time. Your Dad was so proud of your Mother. He said every man in this county had seen your Mom naked. There were 13 wives and 87 men in the county and all the wives had been naked at meetings at the court house. Your Dad bragged she'd fucked lots of them. All the neighbors, the sheriff, deputies, judge and a few others had rights to her. You need to wear a simple house dress and nothing under it for them tonight."
"You really think I need to do this?"
"Ya, your Dad talked about it to me. He said you would need to do it some day."
"And Mom really was made to do it too?"
"No she was never made to do it. She wanted to do it and enjoyed doing it."
"Seth said she was the best he ever had. And that my breasts are bigger."
"How does he know they are bigger?"
"I know he knows how big my moms were. He says mine are bigger than hers were. David, you really think I need to do this for him?"
