Covid 21

This is my first story, yes I know there are gaps and somewhat impossible thoughts or actions within, and I do struggle in putting hot sex scenes in it, my mind is dark and if I try and go that direction it would go into destruction of everyone within script and border on lines no-one really wants. I welcome constructive comments so I may be able to write better in the future, I also give limited permission for someone to either rewrite a better middle or help for future writings, however that permission stops with people wanting to turn it into a wimpy cuck story.

I remember the day it was announced, Covid 19 had been beaten we were all immune and life itself could get back to where we were once before.

But the news was short-lived, a scientist from a small country had been following the coronavirus as it adapted to all its hosts, she noticed 1 strain was different...

My Name is Arrin Shellby, yes with 2 L's, the scientist is my wife Rachael. While she went in the direction of biology earning about £40000 a year I went towards physics namely particle acceleration earning somewhere around £300000 a year. We were on a breakthrough with slowing time down to possibly reversing time, we had already exceeded in speeding time up and thus being able to create a time barrier moving us in theory up to 2 seconds continuously forward (being out of step with normal time), but the power required was tremendous to maintain, many still believe it is impossible to do either, and yet in science we have made so many breakthroughs on ideas that 50 years ago were deemed impossible.

At the time of the announcement I was 42 6ft 2in, medium build, no head hair and sporting a grayish goatee. I work out daily as sitting for work makes you lazy, I also moved away from online shopping as again makes you lazy. My wife was 41 5ft 10in, slender build, with incredible stats (in my mind anyways). 36,24,28 lovely long legs and red hair that reaches to mid shoulder blade. Our sex life is surprisingly good being married for 20 years we still enjoy it 4 times a week. We had 2 children both girls Tina, and Bethany (oh the expense of weddings was going to kill me), they both followed in my wife's field of biology. Looking back I should have seen the difference in them to myself but I was ignorant and bliss. They say love blinds and I was truely blind, I have jet black hair my wife's hair is a firey red, my 2 daughters are both blonde, she explained when she was younger it was blonde but dyed it red, to only find out later it went Red naturally, Like I said ignorant and bliss.

The announcement of Covid 21 was not welcome or accepted initially within the scientific community, but as time drew on they began to believe the impossible (told you things we deem impossible are not so). Covid 21 was in some aspects worse than 19, least with 19 it was 50/50 if you lived or died, 21 was more diabolical, it effected the sexual side of the human race. Still we do not know how it worked other than females were only fertile during certain times of their lives between ages of 21 and 25, and again later between ages of 55 and 60, deeming this stage would be too dangerous for both woman and child to consider, thus the latter ages were not announced to the world when it was revealed. But to make life even harder the men themselves were only fertile between the ages of 40 and 50, at no other time were they able to produce children, the scientific community were astonished at Covid 21's ability to destroy healthy eggs and sperm removed from the human bodies for freezing, thus rendering artificial useless.

The announcement came, stunning the world, all the leaders of the world had a secret meeting outlining the plan to ensure the human race would survive but giving them the chance to rule it as they saw fit secretly hidden away.

Social interactions were coming into place, a new way of life now beckons forward. All females were tested at the age of 18, as it seemed some would never be fertile, these women fell into 2 categories, pleasure and business, those which were fertile were being paired up with Men who were fertile but offered the best genetic outcome for the offspring, however a new law passed meant those that were already married and either partner was fertile then the marriage was dissolved if both tested fertile then the marriage would continue, all those that were fertile both men and women were monitored to prevent any cheating occurring and thus causing offspring that were not genetically suited for the future. For the men they got tested at 30 signs showed up if they were fertile or not, again split into 2 categories, Business or Slavery. Abolished was same sex, Trans gender, or IT as the testing showed that Covid 21 almost selected who would or wouldn't become fertile, the results were very disheartening, only about 6% of those tested so far were fertile.

This Covid 21 was now deemed a terrorist to all, through science they found evidence it had been tampered with to create this outcome however no-one could work out how it was done or by whom, the scientists worldwide were being held accountable for once they would be on the Frontline taking responsibility for actions of one of their own (rather than sitting in the background making stupid noises and letting someone else take the blame). Quick note here, through media and other social interactions scientists throughout the world will always blame someone else for their actions when it goes wrong and yet the moment something good pops up they are first in line to receive the praise (bit like Labour, Liberal, SNP politicians)

Unbeknownst to myself at the time my wife held 2 secrets which I now no longer condemn one of them but at time of finding I was filled with anger, hate and contempt of her for both.

She was a tree hugger, yes laugh at this description, but that was basically what she was, she believed the planet had first choices on its own life and not allow the parasite which had grown on it to continue the way it had, that parasite was Humans. She had seen the split in covid 19 and took that oddball strain cultivated it then spliced it with many different bacteria. Being a lead in biology field and being a woman. She knew all the loop holes to fill making 21 a better killer, and to ensure her plan worked, she removed many markers that would show any signs of beating it.

Rachael had worked in the ages for fertility from samples she had obtained for the women use used her daughters, however this was her error, she used my sperm which was already at the 40 marker for the men. Rachael didn't want any paper trail of where she got samples from so used what was close to hand and not visible, Covid 21 took the age markers as its baseline to follow and thus began the downfall of humans to a small community (A story to follow Arrin's work in preventing event ever happening maybe written by me or someone else) I must point out she was a good loving wife before I found out her 2 secrets who I now thought of herself and the planet making her judgements shallow, but she never had a bad word to say about myself, she lived 2 separate lives, one we me as her legal husband and 1 at her work place where they thought her dirt bag of ex boyfriend was her husband seems he visited her quite often. She added 2 more twists into this diabolical virus, firstly either male or female could only bear 2 children after which they both became infertile the second it could only live is flesh or plant based living organisms. It only effected humans.

You may notice I mentioned she spliced bacteria into the strain then later referred to it as a virus, her mind was brilliant she deducted that using a bacterial based germ was more controllable and stable than a virus which mutates. The virus part shrouded the bacteria effectly protecting it from medicines but the virus had to read the bacteria for instructions, thus making it easier to control and adapt

Things started to change in our family my daughters both just turned 21 and 22, they were tested as fertile, as I was then 42 I was also tested, the news came back that I was extremely fertile,but wasn't before, confused I asked the doctor to explain, he said something in the 21 variant had changed my previous infertile state to being highly fertile I was devastated, this meant my 2 daughters were not mine. My loving wife had not only cheated on myself at least twice but my daughters were not mine biological. Did explain why they had become indifferent to myself when they turned 15 and16. Tried as I might I couldn't shake this depressing realization that I was a failure as both husband and father, that I was just a pay check for my wife and her daughters.

When myself and Rachael become solely each others her parents worried that I would take advantage of her brilliance and live off her wages thou I tried to explain the field I was in made a lot more, thus a prenuptial was raised with no moving forward as Rachael also saw this as a good thing one was drafted up, to say it didn't favour myself in the least even if I was the victim in the fallout, I refused to sign their version and instead had one drawn up which basically the cheater left with what they came into the marriage with, Rachaels parents were not happy at all until I pointed out I couldn't draw or use her salary in any terms and any inheritance she got from their passing would always be hers separate from our combined joint accounts. The 1 sticking point they had was my trust fund, they wanted it included I didn't, eventually we resolved that if I had an affair the trust was bought into play, if she had an affair (God forbid their innocent daughter ever doing that) then the trust was out of reach. For those that wondered my trust was worth somewhere north of 1 billion pounds. Why work, well saves getting fat and lazy oh and brain dead.

I contacted my lawyer regarding both divorce on grounds of infidelity and to see if my wife had been in contact with the firm about my trust fund, I was shocked to find out someone in their firm had been in contact with her about 2 years ago enquiring matters about how much it was worth, the person let it known it was in excess of 100 million pounds but couldn't access the full account to give a true reading, could my wife had orchestrated this virus in the hopes that I would have an affair and she could use that to get to the trust, not realizing the leaders of the world were taking a different approach making her attempts to become rich futile.

I quickly established hard evidence of my wife's infidelity, seems her old boyfriend was the father of both her daughters but wasn't father material he also couldn't hold down a job that well, I changed my will and trust to an old friend (I had no other family and you can't spend when 6ft under). We had been like brothers for past 28 years, and now I sat waiting on my loving family to return.

The Confrontation

My wife and her daughters walked into the house all laughing at some obscure joke, to find myself sitting in a chair facing the door, with a look of both hate and sadness. They all stopped suddenly wondering what was going on, I spoke first to both her daughters asking when they knew I wasn't their biological father, Tina the oldest piped up when they were about 15, 16 their mother thought it was important to know the truth, the truth she couldn't tell me, but not to worry as they would be set for life.

I told them I am afraid to disappoint all of yourselves, as you all greatly disappointed me, firstly your mother and myself will be getting a divorce, at which point I handed her an envelope containing copies of the divorce papers and stating she would be served at work the official ones, and thus enabling the prenuptial, everything that belongs to the trust is out of reach, this includes both houses, all cars, credit cards everything I paid for. You have a strange notion that your mother is the earner in the family she isn't. As for you my darling wife did you ever love me or was I just a convenience to raise your bastard daughters.

Her daughters stood there mouths open wide like those koi you see in ponds wanting feeding, their brains trying to establish the news I delivered to them moments ago, suddenly they went all sweet asking me "Daddy why are you being so cold and cruel to us, we haven't done anything wrong we are innocent in this why are you making us suffer". I sat there looking at them trying to remember when they both last called me Daddy... in the last 6 years it was either him or occasionally father now suddenly it was Daddy. Oh I am Daddy now, suddenly I am being cold and cruel when you have just discovered you both are financially cut off from any money your mother has promised you, take it up with her as she spouted this shit, she can suck it back up or make right her promises, thou don't bank on that she isn't good with hold promises, turning to my wife I said like our wedding vows.

My wife went from the shades of pink to white to red in at matter of moments, yelling there would be no divorce she would ruin me in any divorce court, again I reminder her of the prenuptial, shugging her shoulders she said that had expired years ago. I placed a copy in front of her showing that it would expire on the day of my 85th Birthday, her face went ashen. She had clearly forgotten that my lawyer at the time had included a longer date than originally discussed.

I stood up walked to the front door opened it and walked out I turned to them and said "Be gone within the hour, if you are still here upon my return I will have no choice but to involve the local authorities and have you arrested violating the restraining order, which you will find in the envelope I left you... to be continued or not your choice!

The Story you have read is based upon science fiction however with all science fiction/fiction there is some truth within it. As stated within Story the science to reverse time, truth or fiction, many will argue it is pure fiction that science cannot do the impossible, I disagree until we truely learn what we have discovered we will never understand the knowledge obtained.
