Mysteries have long been a staple of fiction. As long as fiction has been written, we have followed detectives, the police, amateur sleuths around, looking for clues. Whether it is Sherlock Holmes, Mike Hammer, Travis McGee or Nero Wolfe, they have been fascinating studies.
