I lost the love of my life about a year ago after 40+ years of marriage---this is our story.
I met Stacey shortly after I was discharged from the military--she was a department head at a local department store and I was applying for a job as a security guard(loss prevention) there. As the manager was giving me a tour of the store he introduced me to Stacey and the attraction was immediate and intense. I got the job and asked her out the same day.
I picked her up for that first date at her parents house where she still lived. I still have a snap shot in my head of her bounding out the door--wearing a pair of cutoff jean shorts and a halter top. She was so hot--about 5' on her tip toes--gorgeous red hair--green eyes--just the right size breasts and an absolutely gorgeous ass. She jumped into the seat and slid over beside me(yes--that was back when they still had bench seats). We had decided to go hiking at a local recreation area but when we got there the temperature had dropped and it was raining pretty hard so we decided to hole up in one of the shelters for a little while to see if the weather would clear. The shelter had a nice little fireplace so we gathered some wood--started a cozy little fire and snuggled down in front of the fire. The chemistry between us--even at this very early part of our relationship--was intense. We talked for a little bit but it did not take long before we were making out. I was all revved up and ready to go but before things went too far she told me that she had made a promise to save herself--not to be with any man until they were married. But then she looked at me and told me--once I am married--LOOK OUT--nothing will be off limits. You would think that this would have discouraged me--being a normal young man with raging hormones--but it had just the opposite effect. It just made me love her and want her more.
