Crossthaite's Suite
Annie lay naked beneath Geoffrey, her legs wrapped around his hips. Her groin joined to his. Lunch had progressed rapidly to seduction, and Annie had encouraged it. She wanted it. It was a moment of pure thrill that empowered her. Plus, it was an experience of a lifetime. After all, how many twenty-three-year-old women get to boast that they slept with a multi-billionaire while saving the world? True, she promised Crossthwaite the command sequence that would unlock the AI once they finished their afternoon 'Samba of Seduction' as she had phrased it. The man had swallowed Annie's bait hook, line, and sinker. Annie giggled at how men's egos allowed them to be guided precisely into the situation needed to fulfill a woman's desires.
Annie pressed her mouth to Crossthwaite's as she felt the steady thrusts of his glans fill her over and over again. She embraced the physical feelings and merged them with the excitement of surrendering her body to the billionaire. She moved her hips in unison, meeting each thrust, squeezing him as he began to withdraw. The action of their tongues at play in each other's mouths heightened the climax building deep within her. Crossthwaite's cock was curved in just the right way that his large, bulbous crown pressed and pulled on her G-spot.
Crossthwaite broke the kiss as he saw his lover's eyes roll into the back of her head. "Are you alright, Ellie?" he asked, concerned.
"Oh Geoffrey, I am cumming all over you," Annie exclaimed.
Crossthwaite felt surges of liquid erupt about his shaft as Annie squirted repeatedly. Annie clutched the billionaire to her, squeezing him as her hip hammered up to meet his thrusts. This brought Crossthwaite to the tipping point.
"I am close, Ellie," he announced.
"Cum in my mouth Geoffrey. I want to taste you," Annie urged.
Crossthwaite wasted no motion as she withdrew and moved up Annie's torso, straddling her face. Annie arched her neck, head back, mouth open as Crossthwaite coaxed himself to orgasm. Annie was drunk in sensation as she felt pulses of citrus-tinged semen fill her mouth. Crossthwaite groaned as he released, and he shuddered as Annie's mouth closed around his manhood. He squirmed at the sensory overload as Annie rolled her tongue while bobbing a few last times, drawing their lovemaking to a close.
The billionaire looked down as Annie pulled away from him. She opened her mouth and rolled her tongue in a blanket of his semen. Annie's eyes were burning with wicked enjoyment, savoring the moment's thrill. Then, she closed her lips and deliberately swallowed long and hard so he could see her throat muscles down the end state of their passion. The icing on the cake was her tongue parting her lips as she pulled his last dollop into her mouth, followed by her bright smile.
"Do all billionaires taste so yummy?" she asked.
"Just the one you are with," he boasted.
The phone on the nightstand buzzed. Geoffrey picked it up. Annie listened as the conversation changed her lover's demeanor. He was suddenly earnest.
"What do you mean the system has locked us out of communications and power distribution?" Crossthwaite asked, his volume rising as he spoke.
The systems engineer down in Evangeline's control center was exasperated, "We can't override the system and restart. The AI is drawing more power than before. It has warned us that any attempt to tamper with its systems will initiate an automatic scuttling of the ship."
Crossthwaite listened before closing the conversation, "Keep me informed and take no other actions until I arrive with Doctor Hansen."
He looked down at Annie, "I am afraid, Ellie, we must take an unexpected break in our lovemaking. Would you please forgive me and see yourself out? I have some critical problems I must attend to. I will pick you up in one hour at your suite. Dress comfortably because I very much need your help. My ship is in trouble."
Annie feigned shock. "My God, Geoffrey, whatever I can do. You know I will help you."
"Thank you," Geoffrey said. He kissed Annie softly on her lips and climbed off the bed, moving toward his bathroom.
As the door closed, Annie fell back into bed. She sighed, smirked, and exclaimed, "So that is the billionaire version of wham, bam, thank you, ma'am."

Waiting Room
Ellie reached the trauma center and was told that Heather was unconscious and had lost 2 pints of blood; however, she was stabilized and already in surgery. Ellie had called Jared, asking to meet her in the waiting room.
A thoracic surgeon came out after the exploratory and filled in Jared and Ellie with bone-chilling details. He told them the bullet that struck Heather had penetrated the splenic flexure and transected her left kidney, destroying it. The bullet exited through Heather's back, and the responding security team said the bullet embedded itself in a book on Hendrix's middle storage shelf. Ellie asked about the wounded MP. They were told his surgery was wrapping up. The MP had lost considerable blood, but he had used his belt as a tourniquet and stemmed the rush of blood from his left femoral artery. After the surgeon went back through the double doors to the operating rooms, Ellie sank into one side on a long sofa; she felt truly lost and riddled with guilt. Her face was blank as she recited the Hail Mary prayer her devout Catholic Momma had taught her as a child. She reached for Jared's hand and leaned her head against his shoulder. Ellie began shaking uncontrollably, and Jared wrapped his arms around his wife, pulling her into his lap where he could cradle and rock her. Both Hansen's minds connected in their Binar way, simultaneously wondering how they could break the news to Seth.

Captain's Office
Distance from Galveston: 293 miles
Course 220 degrees, Speed 12 knots
"The weather has cleared, Sir and the front is now well to the northeast of us. The seas are calming fast." The Captain acknowledged the update from the bridge, "Thank you. Send the Navigator to me, please."
Geoffrey Crossthwaite and his Communicado partner, Don Javier, sat alongside each other on the sofa the Captain had along the far wall of his office. Seated in a single chair to the left of the Captain's desk was the Senior AI Engineer, who was not a happy person. Looking at the Captain, he laid a disturbing scenario, "Sir, if the AI takes Control of propulsion, navigation, or worse case both, then I believe we must declare an emergency using the ship's transponder. The AI can't control that."
The Captain nodded. He pressed his interlink button to the bridge and said calmly, "Mr. Wellman, please conduct an unscheduled lifeboat drill immediately."
There was silence, and Wellman responded, "Sir, did I hear you correctly that you want a no-notice lifeboat drill immediately?"
"That's correct, Mr. Wellman, immediately," the Captain replied. Once the drill is complete, advise the passengers that there will be another drill at 1900 hrs."
Wellman acknowledged, "Yes, Sir. Bridge out."
The public address system came on immediately, and Wellman calmly said, "Passengers and Crew to lifeboat stations. Repeat all passengers and crew to lifeboat stations; this is a no-notice drill. Repeat: This is a compulsory no-notice drill. Please cease recreational activities, dress appropriately, and move to your assigned lifeboat stations."
Crossthwaite stood up, "That is all well and good. My compliments to Mr. Wellman. Captain, we need to get back to our base course, don't you think?"
The Captain smiled, and the knock on the door prompted an 'enter' command. The Navigator came in directly, closing the door behind himself. He approached the Captain and said, "Sir, Navigation report ready."
The Captain's nod launched the Navigator into his report: "Sir, at present, we are 295 miles from our departure port. Since the weather has cleared, I recommend we change the course to 095 degrees, increasing speed to maximum. We will intercept our base course approximately 92 miles south of Key West."
The Captain smiled, "Thank you, Mr. Armstrong. Please ask the First Officer to see me immediately."
