The Bridge -- Chapter Seven --Β The Family Grows
This is a work ofΒ fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. This work is copy written by the author.
This work will, at times, contain instances of pregnancy, interracial sex, lesbianism, romance and affection. There is also a fair amount of heroism and family love and fun.
Because of the contents of this chapter, it's in the Lesbian Sex category, but has been and will, in the future, spend time in the Interracial Love and Romance categories, and will probably move around as it progresses. I also have a chapter ready to go into the Non Consent/Reluctance category. Which it will do if enough people like it.
There is a bit of sex in this chapter, and it moves the story along. In time, there will be many more orgasms. This chapter is important to the development of characters in the overall story and is a fun frolic and homage to and through the Philadelphia area.
The Family Grows
Nine o'clock came quickly. I woke up with a headache, and Holly greeted me with a glass of water and two of Dr. Dewey's Headache Pills. She had already showered and had her hair up in a ponytail and her jeans and one of my Penn State tee shirts on. She steered me to the shower, where I composed myself and got cleaned up. I also threw on jeans and a Philadelphia Eagles tee shirt.
The Breakfast is where you get the best eats. When the caterer took over my kitchen, there was virtually nothing they wouldn't do for us. It's way more laid-back than the wedding and only attended by a few of our special wedding guests. My Bridge House girls were all there, as well as some of my neighbors and their kids, Larry and Linnie were there and, of course, William and two of my nurse friends from Hershey, one of which would be starting a job here in Chester County and attending West Chester University seeking a M.S.N. And of course, the grandparents were all there. They were served first and ran herd over the visiting kids, who had all been fed at home, while the rest of us adults ate. Besides Bertha, there were two other mothers' helpers that our neighbors brought with them to take the load off. This way, our parents got all the joy and none of the heavy lifting.
There were lots of eggs, pancakes, waffles and a variety of breakfast meats. The real thing, not that 'facon' we used to eat. And they pre-made quiches and even made scrapple, an old Pennsylvania favorite that nobody gets to eat anymore, but Holly had made a special request for. And a mountain of hash browns, which everyone wanted. The most popular dish amongst the adults was omelets to order. I had three eggs over with real bacon and hash browns with whole wheat toast. Holly had a little of everything.
After I finished wolfing down my breakfast, I moved from table to table, chatting everyone up and making sure they had a good time last night and this morning. The big talk, of course, was about the wedding and how beautiful everyone was and what a good time they had. And, of course, what beautiful brides we made. Somewhere in the middle of everything, while I was walking around chatting, the Bridge House girls called for a speech. I stopped in the middle of everything, tapped on my empty water glass and gave them one.
"I'd first like to thank you all for attending our wedding and this breakfast. Being surrounded by good friends at important times in our life is more than comforting. It is essential. Holly and I had the time of our lives last night, and a lot of that had to do with you and the others who were there. To our Bridge House girls, I hope this is the first of many good occasions we get to spend together. And to Missy, I hope she pops soon. Before she bursts."
Everybody laughed.
"To my neighbors and good friends of the children's play group, I thank you for welcoming me into your lives and the lives of your kids. Georgia could not be happier having such good and loving friends."
I looked over at the table that contained my nursing friends and Larry and Linnie.
"To my dear nursing friends who helped me to achieve one of my dreams, to become an RN and BSN and for helping me to more than just survive what could have been a very lonely time for me in Hershey. And to Larry and Linnie, my lawyers, who paved my way from the poorhouse to all this and more. I don't know how I can ever thank you both."
Then I turned to Holly, who was walking around hugging and kissing everyone.
"Of course, I have a special thank you to my new wife, Holly. Just like everything in our lives, she put this whole thing together from scratch and saw it through every step of the way. This is just one of the many things I will find myself thanking her for, for the rest of my life. I love you, my darling."
She blew me a kiss, and the speech was over. We excused ourselves and went upstairs for a few minutes. I was bursting with observations, especially the one about Larry and Linnie. "So, Holl, what do you think? Are they into each other or what?"
"I see it now. The way they look at each other. Especially the way she looks at him. He does a good job of keeping a cool exterior, but she is popping out of her skin. I'll bet she got laid last night."
"Last night and this morning, for sure. Keep an eye on them for telltale signs and we'll compare notes later."
"Deal. When everyone else leaves, they are sticking around to do some post nuptial paperwork with both of us. Keep an eye on them and see just how close they get to each other. The neighbors will go home, and William and the other nurses are going to tour Longwood Gardens this afternoon and the girls are going home, and William is going to hang back tonight for our fuck fest tomorrow. Bertha has been forewarned that she and Aggie will be on duty for the next two days watching the kids. Then, this coming weekend, it's you and me downtown for a couple of days of fun and frolic at the Center City townhouse. Your mom and dad have volunteered to stay around until our downtown staycation is over."
"Excellent. As always, you have planned everything. Now let's go down and make sure everyone is well fed, do our business with the lawyers and kick everyone the hell out so we can have some us time."
William approached us and made a request. "Ladies, I spoke to Bertha and the grandparents, and they said they would be happy to join us nurses at Longwood Gardens if we could bring your little Georgia and George with us. Aggie said she would come and run herd over Georgie. You two could have the house to yourselves."
God love William. Everything he said was music to our ears, and we collectively said, "Great idea." The Bridge House girls, especially Missy, took their rides home, except for Lizzie, who decided to join the group going to the Gardens. Missy was staying at Bridge House, of course, so she was just a hop and a skip to get to her destination. As big as she was, that was all for the best. Holly and I told her that if we could, we would be there for her at the time of her delivery.
We figured the party going to Longwood Gardens would be at least three hours, maybe four. We did our best to make the most of it. With tummies full, we jogged upstairs, tossed off our clothes and jumped each other. And yes, there were vaginas involved. We supped on each other for an hour and a half, jumped in the tub to recover, looked at each other longingly and then dried ourselves off and did it all over again. By the time we finished making the most passionate love, my tongue hung out of my mouth and my pussy was vibrating. The bedroom smelled of perfume and pussy and we were ready to face the world, and our returning friends and family refreshed and none too exhausted. Candles were lit.
Just to throw everyone off, we dressed in our jeans and tee shirts, prepared for the return of the Gardens tourists. We walked down to and around The Farm and talked about everything; our plans for the future, the coming together of our parents and their newly hatched plans to move closer to us, the wedding and all the attendees. But we especially talked about Larry and Linnie.
"Did you see them at breakfast?" Holly asked.
"Oh yeah. Everybody picked up on it. Especially the Bridge girls. Lizzie said that she could smell the heat coming off of Linnie. Even my mother asked me if they were a couple, but I let her know it was strictly professional. She gave me a heavy-duty side eye and a little chuckle when I said that."
"Well, you have a meeting with Linnie next month and maybe you should just ask."
