Angie loved the quiet comfort of Jud's brand new electric vehicle as they reached the quiet Fenland parish church. They entered the cool ancient church and Jud walked around exploring whilst Angie rested her back pack open on the pew. The door opened and two people entered. The woman sat behind Angie and looked in the direction of the man who nodded.
"Angie we would like you to look at these intercepts and try to work out the cipher in use and if possible identify their content."
Angie didn't look round and closed her backpack.
"Professor Jud and yourself are included in this funeral invitation" and the black edged card was rested on top of the backpack briefly. Angie glanced at the interment invitation for Barton Burial ground and saw an envelope from GCHQ included. She heard her local Military Intelligence contacts footsteps recede and the door open and close. Jud slid into the pew and commented on several church features. The couple left and Jud drove them back to park at Girton in her named parking space.
Angie entered Jud's rooms and they looked at the invitation to Barton Woodland Burial ground. Jud didn't ask but Barton was easy to reach; they could pop in to shop at the large Tesco Superstore at Bar Hill and then drive to Barton.
Angie wanted to leave the other package in Jud's rooms and Jud was happy to assist. She asked no questions. Angie hugged her and they rolled on the sofa with Angie on top kissing Jud and also pinning her down with enough pressure to have Jud wet and tingling between their legs.

Angie had recognised the Asian woman that was detected at Girton communicating with a male student at Churchill College. Angie had with help from the Girton librarian examined the books she had borrowed and one book stood out. Angie had borrowed the book and in her study room found one page had been turned over. The cipher was simple and Angie decoded the messages between the pair. They were compiling information about Addenbrooks Hospital computer systems no doubt for a computer attack on NHS systems. She dialled the emergency number and left the voice message.
Barton Glebe is now a woodland burial ground owned and managed by the Diocese of Ely. Jud had parked next to the chapel/gathering place. The staff had welcomed them and the humanist celebrant invited them to sit before her. Her contact was already seated. The bearers brought in the willow coffin and the celebrant began a celebration of the life...
At the conclusion the bearers carried the coffin to a wheeled trolley and the party walked up the slope of the path past groves of trees each containing burials. They entered the grove as a rabbit scampered off. The bearers laid the coffin on the green artificial surface and threaded the blue polyester bands then lifted and lowered the willow coffin into the white chalk bottom of the grave. Then they removed the trolley and returned to the car park and office. Jud walked alone back to the office and chapel building to use the toilet.
"Remember the grove and burial, Angie should you need it for your mother in due course the Service has purchased the adjacent plot for you. I thought you would like her grave to be near you. Place any written communication under the wooden marker for this burial. Excellent work on the Chinese spies; how did you crack the ciphers so quickly? No I don't need to know. You are a quite brilliant young woman!"
They chatted and as they approached Jud said "The Diocese of Ely paperwork is on your seat in the car-I didn't ask." The other woman smiled and thanked Jud then entered the back of the Jaguar parked next to them. A familiar face from the church was in the Driver's seat. The car reversed out and turned in the direction of the M11 motorway. They turned and watched the digger at work in the grove filling in the burial they had just witnessed. The engine became quiet and left the grove to be secured on the back of a transporter. Angie used the toilet and thanked the staff. In the car she read she had purchased a burial plot for 999 years use. Jud said "Remind me to borrow a spy novel from the Library." She drove back into Cambridge. Angie was smiling as she lovingly admired Jud.
Jud had never asked about Angie's activities. She was not aware that she had been vetted and like Angie had a high security clearance as Angie's partner. Jud would not be actively operating but she now recognised by sight Angie's contact and half a dozen "bearers " or Military intelligence men. A formal letter asking her to sign the Official Secrets Act was awaiting her return to Girton. She filled in the form and saw the request for her alone to meet at Wicken Fen at the weekend.
Jud recognised a Jaguar and parked next to it. She took a short walk and was asked to support Angie in any future need to visit Barton. The pair could cycle to Barton from Girton and enter the Glebe via the footpath to the next village at any time. "Of course as part of the security installation at your new home a floor safe is being included to safeguard Angie's communications." Jud complimented her on their efficiency and they parted. Jud made a visit to the Fen. She was not surprised to find her bank account had been credited by electronic transfer that and every month and a payslip was sent to her each month from the Auditor and Comptroller General's office in Worthing.
She was now paired with Angie and had to protect her. She would have to wait for a year once she moved out of Girton on or after completion of the barn conversion and legal transfer of ownership.. She longed to propose marriage to Angie but Angie needed to reach her finals. Jud had to be patient. The year ahead was going to be academically demanding for Angie and who knew what cipher work would emerge from the internal compartment in the wooden grave marker at Barton.
Fresher's week approached and as downtime the couple visited Audley End Miniature Railway. Jud loved steam trains, Angie loved the thousands of bears, rabbits and fairies dotted in shelters around the park and it's railway. She adored the shows and Angie realised what an impoverished childhood had been lost to her mother's dementia. "Jud please can we organise a college trip to see Father Christmas?" Jud had been considering asking her students the same question. Before they left she met with the group booking manager and booked a coach party from the Classics faculty for an evening steam train in the final week of term before Christmas. She soon found that 18-21 year old students couldn't resist a steam train to meet Father Christmas. Angie was not alone in loving her cuddly toys in her study bedroom!
Angie in her Girton Tabard was the first face that new students saw on arrival from the station shuttle or parental car or airport coach for oversea student arrivals. She gave Freshers tours of the College and ensured everyone met their pastoral tutors and enrolled in Societies. She lead the gym tour. Afterwards she cried alone when she recalled her awful arrival a year earlier.
Jud absorbed the sobs when Angie arrived at bedtime. Angie was low thinking of her mother, well cared for now but Angie was fearful that at any time she could be dead so extensive was the damage to her brain.
Jud cuddled her and asked if Angie wanted to sleep with her. Angie's hormones during her period often produced these tearful evenings. Their sexual relationship had begun like this. The two of them were comfortable enough with period pants in bed. They could both achieve climaxes cuddling sucking nipples and playing with each other's clitoris through pants. Angie loved to pin Jud down and rub her hard until Jud begged her to stop thinking of getting up next morning. Angie would dash to her room before anyone else woke up and get into bed for a lie in.
The couple reached the end of a busy term. Angie was finding the workload hard and loved any time to create crosswords she could fit in. They managed to get away from Girton to see progress on the barn conversion or cycling to Barton to visit the burial. Jud was not convinced that there was a real body in that coffin and admired the grave marker with it's secret document drawer.
