Jim was sitting next to Tyrese in a booth at Car's Diner, going over the recent police charges against Tyrese's gang members. In the two booths beside them, sat two very large black males, they were Tyreses closest "thugs".
Jim worked for the district attorneys office, as a prosecutor against Tyrese. He was there trying to get some facts from Tyrese, about the crimes that his gang members had committed.
But he had no luck in getting any help from Tyrese, who just sat there with that smug look on his face.
Actually it wasn't Tyrese that was intimidated by the fact that Jim was a prosecutor for the town, it was Jim who was very intimidated by Tyrese.
Jim had tried and tried not to get assigned to this case, but as usual he got the case no one else wanted.
He had read about Tyreses Gang, and he was frankly terrified of him. He felt so tiny sitting there in the booth next to this black man.
Jim was 28 and had finished law school 2 years earlier, he had worked as a co-council for another town prosecutor for the first 18 months. He had both been on the football team, and in the top 5 % of the students at college, and in law school. With that combination he thought he would become a great prosecutor, putting criminals behind bars... But in the present situation, that wasn't working very well... Jim was sitting there trying to avoid eye contact, so he wouldn't let Tyrese know just how scared he was of him.
Tyrese on the other hand was sitting next to Jim with a very confident look on his face. He had been the head of his gang for the past 7 years, ever since he took out the previous leader. He was both feared and respected in the gang, and around downtown. No one messed with Tyrese or his gang.
Tyrese, this 32 year old black male, was looking down on Jim from his height of 6 foot 4 as he stood up.
"I'll be right back." he told Jim.
"Ok, I'll go and make a quick phone call then." Jim said as he slowly stood up.
"Sit your ass back down." One of Tyreses thugs told him.
Jim quickly sat back down...
"But I..."
"The Man will be right back, and you will sit there, until he comes back." Jim was told...
So Jim sat there quietly, wishing that there was a way out of this case. But he couldn't think of one, if he would resign himself from the case, it would seriously damage his career.
The phone call Jim had to had made, was to his wife Sarah. Sarah and he had been married now for 3 years, and she was the one that Jim was thinking about now. Even though he felt very intimidated by the situation, Jim got a bit more relaxed as he thought about his beautiful wife...
Sarah was this 25 year old, gorgeous 5 foot 5 tall blond. She was the love of his life.
They had met 6 years ago, and 3 years later they were married.
Jims friends had always thought he had been very lucky to get a girl like Sarah. She had actually done some modeling a few years ago. With her slender body, gorgeous face, long legs, firm butt, and those perky B-cup breasts, no one was really surprised that she had modeled.
"Hey whitie, you're not sleeping on the job, are you?" Tyrese then said as he and his thugs began to laugh at Jim.
Jim quickly snapped out of his daydream about his wife.
"N...no, of course not." Jim Said.
"Was there anything else, Mr. Prosecutor?" Tyrese asked with a grin on his face.
Jim didn't think that he would get anything out of Tyrese so...
"No, I think that will be all..." Jim said.
"Good, cause I have a meeting with some horny ladies after this." Tyrese said grinning.
Jim didn't know what to respond to that, so he just began to put all his papers into his briefcase.
"Well speaking of pussy... would you look at that." Tyrese said looking at the woman coming in to the diner.
Jim looked around. It was Sarah... that was why Jim needed to make that phone call. Sarah had told him that she would pick him up after the meeting, but considering the situation, Jim wanted to call her and tell her that he would take a taxi, instead of her coming down here.
But it was too late now... Jim quickly took his briefcase and went over to her.
Sarah stood there looking around, in a pair of her tight pants, and one of those rather slim sweaters.
"Hi sweetheart, do we have time for a little bite to eat..." Sarah asked Jim as he came up to her.
"No, we really have to get moving now." Jim told her.
"What's the hurry, you haven't introduced me to this gorgeous woman yet." Tyrese said as he walked up behind Jim.
"Well... that's not any of your business." Jim managed to get out.
"Now don't be rude Jim, I'm Sarah, Jims wife. And who might you be then." Sarah looked up at the tall black man.
"I'm Tyrese... the man your husband is investigating..." Tyrese told her with a smirk on his face.
Jim saw how his wife gave Tyrese a little smile back. He didn't like this at all, but he knew that Sarah had always been a very outgoing person, trying to make friends with everyone.
"Oh, well you don't look that dangerous." Sarah said smiling.
"Well you never know..." Tyrese grinned.
"Do you have a car here, or can I give you a ride somewhere." Tyrese then asked Sarah.
"No, we have a car parked just outside here..." Sarah told him.
Tyrese then turned around for a second, and told one of his thugs something. After which the thug walked out of the diner...
A few minutes past, as Tyrese continued to sweet talk Sarah, right in front of Jim. Jim tried to step in a few times, and say that they really have to be going now, but he couldn't really get a word in. That and the fact that he was a bit scared, of what Tyrese might do if he came off as rude. Jim had heard about another lawyer and prosecutor that hadn't showed Tyrese any respect at all, a while later that lawyer ended up in the hospital badly injured.
Jim was now becoming very uncomfortable over how friendly Tyrese and Sarah was getting.
A moment later a cell phone rang.
"It's mine." Tyrese said.
He talked for just a few seconds...
"Okay, I have to be going now." Tyrese told them.
"Well it was nice talking to you." Sarah said.
"Heh, well I don't think your little hubby thought it was nice." Tyrese said as he looked at Jim with a smirk on his face.
"Well I..." Jim tried to say something.
"Don't be silly, I'm sure Jim can see what a nice person you really are." Sarah said with a little smile...
All four then walked outside, (Jim and Sarah, Tyrese and his remaining thug).
As Sarah waved goodbye, Jim noticed something about their car.
"Great, we have a flat tire." Jim said, looking down at the front tire.
"What, how did that happen, I'm sure I didn't hit anything on the way here." Sarah told him...
"Well there it is."
"And we don't have a spare tire either." Jim said.
"This is just great... well guess I have to go inside and call for a tow truck and a cab." Jim said.
"Wait a second Jim." Sarah told him.
"Tyrese." Sarah made a small yell for Tyrese, who was just getting into his car, a few cars down from them.
"No Sarah, we'll be fine." Jim tried to stop her from talking yet again to Tyrese.
But Sarah was already on her way over there.
Tyrese looked over at his bodyguard with a grin, the bodyguard grinned back.
Sarah came over to Tyrese.
"We just noticed that one of our tires is flat, and we don't have a spare." Sarah explained to Tyrese.
"That's a shame." Tyrese said.
"Yeah... would that ride you offered before still be available." Sarah asked giving Tyrese a little smile.
"Sure, why not." Tyrese told her.
Sarah turned around and faced Jim.
