The Story
Amanda was driving to work on Monday morning, having only recently started her new job at an insurance brokerage firm which was her first employer since graduating college. Though she had moved back home with her mom since returning from college, the girl was pleased with her new salary which she felt she could easily save up to get her own apartment, plus she had other benefits like a company car so at 22 years of age, she felt proud of where she was in life.
She was blonde with her hair cut shoulder length, and on the short side with a body that was a teeny bit plump but she felt the softness just made her cute, and at least gave her a bigger butt and thicker thighs to make up for her modest bust. She was dressed smartly for work in a white blouse and a grey pencil skirt, with a matching blazer on the seat beside her.
Amanda was approaching a T-junction when her phone buzzed so she glanced at it to see a message from one of her friends regarding a holiday they were planning. With one eye on the road, she skimmed through the message then began to type a reply, as it was about a special booking offer that her friend thought they could take advantage of if they got on with it, then realised too late that she was pulling out in front of an oncoming car, which had right of way.
The girl quickly accelerated, to get herself clear before the car crashed into her side, while the other driver sharply braked and swerved with the two cars narrowly avoiding a collision. The girl pulled up to the side of the road, her heart racing in panic at the near miss, then rushed out of her car, and with relief saw the other driver had safely pulled up on the other side of the road without crashing, and was also getting out of their vehicle unharmed. It was a woman in her late forties, attractive and just slightly taller than Amanda, with wavy auburn hair, bright red lipstick, and dressed in a turquoise dress that showed the cleavage of her busty chest.
"Are you okay? I'm so sorry!" Amanda apologised, making sure she looked both ways this time before hurrying across the road.
"Yes I'm fine, but not thanks to your driving!" The woman said angrily. "What were you thinking pulling out in front of me like that?"
"I'm really sorry." The girl said again, knowing she was at fault.
"You were on your phone weren't you?"
"What? No, I um..."
"Don't lie! I saw you were on your phone. Was whatever social media you were on more important than the safety of yourself and other drivers?"
"No... I didn't think... I would never do that again!"
"You should be thankful that's the choice you can make, as you certainly wouldn't be doing it again if we had collided and you'd been paralysed or worse... or lost your licence for whatever might of happened to me!"
Amanda looked at her feet, blushing at being told off.
"What's your name?" The woman suddenly asked.
"Amanda." The blonde said, wondering whether she should have perhaps given a false name.
"Amanda sounds a bit too mature for a silly girl like you. I think Mandie is more appropriate."
"Well, Amanda is my name, not Mandie." Amanda snapped, annoyed at being called a 'silly girl' by the angry woman. Sure, she had been caught out dangerous driving, and the woman was rightfully cross, but that didn't mean she could just disrespect her like that.
"Don't backtalk to me Mandie. I should report you for driving like that while using your phone! You nearly caused a serious accident..."
"Look, I said I was sorry. Could we just forgot it please? No harm done and I promise I've learnt my lesson!" Amanda said, bristling that the woman was insisting on calling her 'Mandie' though thought it was best not to argue with her about it if she wanted to get away without being reported.
"I don't know... I bet if I let you drive off you'd just be back on your phone in a heartbeat, and won't learn until you've had a serious accident or been in serious trouble. And I think trouble is much preferable to an accident, don't you Mandie?"
"I promise I've learnt my lesson. It was the only time I've used my phone at the wheel and I won't ever do it again!" Amanda pleaded with the woman, who wasn't seeming convinced. "Look, how about I pay you a little for all the trouble I've caused..."
"Oh, so as well as a silly girl, you are some spoilt brat who thinks she can pay her way out of trouble. Oh no, you definitely need to be reported as think you'll take the police more seriously than you are me..."
"No please, it's not that I'm spoiled... I just wanted to make it up to you without getting the police involved. Please, it's a company car so any incidents involving the police will go back to my employer, and it's my first ever job and I'm still new so it could get me fired!" Amanda appealed to the woman, aware that admitting it was a company car could backfire but hoping it showed the lady that she was taking this seriously and didn't need the police involved.
"Work car huh? Yes, I imagine if your employer found out you could get in quite a bit of trouble Mandie!" The woman said, seeming to be pondering something which Amanda hoped was forgiveness. "How about we strike a little deal? Instead of reporting you to the police, you shall come back to my house so I can punish you personally in a way befitting a silly brat, sounds fair? That way you learn your lesson without the police or your employers ever knowing..."
"Punish me? What do you mean?" Amanda asked, shocked at the strangeness of the suggestion. She couldn't imagine what the woman could possibly have in mind.
"It won't be anything much, just something to make you remember this lesson next time you find yourself reaching for your phone while driving. But you'll have to agree to go through with it!"
"How can I agree if I don't know what it is?" Amanda said.
"Okay Mandie, the police it is then..." The woman said, reaching into her handbag for her phone.
"Okay fine, I'll do whatever you want me to, just please don't call the police." Amanda agreed desperately. Surely whatever it was wouldn't compare to the threat of her losing her job, so she resolved she'd just have to go through with it. 'It's probably something dumb like writing lines... maybe she is a teacher.' She thought to herself.
