My first time ever sharing story, feedback is welcome! As a warning for those that like to get right to the action, this chapter is more of an introduction.
==========================================================
We were best friends since we were eight years old. We went to the same high school and were on the same soccer team until I made varsity. Although we went to different colleges, we did our best to stick together. We gamed together and met up on holidays back home. But right around our third year Jake disappeared on me. Now after a few years of not hearing a word from him we were meeting up for lunch. And it was going awkward, not just because of the long absence. But because Jake was now Mia.
I'm a progressive guy, it didn't bother me to acknowledge her as a woman. And I guess if I looked back it made some sense. He was shorter than average and a bit scrawny. I don't remember ever noticing anything feminine about him, but he was on the softer side and tended to be quiet. I played varsity soccer and was more popular and outgoing. A lot of people wondered why we were friends back then. But he was always a good friend, and we had a lot of fun together.
Now, after a long absence, I'm sitting in this café waiting to see my friend again. In a way for the first time. A couple of old mutual friends helped us connect again. We texted each other; she mentioned the recent changes she made, and we set up this little meeting. While I was sitting there waiting I couldn't help wondering what she would be like. A lot could have chanced over the years, but no doubt she would look as nerdy and awkward as woman as he was as a man.
My train of thought was interrupted when a gorgeous woman caught my attention. She had raven black hair with streaks of crimson and purple in a sloping undercut style that directed the eyes down to her slender neck and shoulders. My eyes traveled down, noticing a pair of nice, perky tits. Her shirt was just short enough to give a glimpse of her tight abs and tiny waist. But her long slender legs were easily the best part. She was fucking hot.
I guess I should have been a little ashamed at checking her out, but what's the harm? It must have been obvious what I was doing because she giggled and waved at me. No. No way. It couldn't be. I shot up off my seat and laughed awkwardly before apologizing "I'm sorry, I just. Wow. I knew you would look different but.. I just wasn't.. I didn't know that was you.."
"No that's okay." She responded in a bright, almost sing-song voice. "Come here Liam." She opened her arms for a hug and I was all too happy to have been distracted away from my stuttering response. We hugged for a moment and stepped back with another laugh.
"So here you are." I said, taking in her beautiful face. Did she have a nose job? And her lips seemed very full.
"Here I am." She smiled and looked over the chair opposite mine. Before she could move, out of instinct I moved over and pulled the chair out for her. She laughed as she sat down, "Well I wasn't expecting that."
"I'm sorry, just a habit I guess." I said as I took my own seat and bashfully peeked down at the table in front of me. "No that's alright, it's always nice to be treated.." For the first time she showed a hint of hesitation and uncertainty. I stepped in. "Like a lady?"
"Yeah." She looked straight at me with uncertainty in her bright blue eyes. "Are you.. okay with all of this?" She asked, revealing a worry that having now seen her I might want to walk away.
