The day started like any other day: review my scheduled appointment notes, clean the room and massage table, fill my supply shelves with fresh towels and check to make sure I have oils and lotions stocked. My schedule for the day was filled with almost all repeat customers, some I was looking forward to working with and some not so much.
As a younger, strong, good looking male massage therapist, I often get repeat customers that try and flirt with me. It's nice to be liked at work and I can tell when a client is a little turned on. It happens quite often but the common tells are moaning, squirming or thrusting their hips, and I have even had clients expose their boobs and pussy on the table. It isn't hard to resist some, but others are quite attractive and I would be lying if I said I hadn't wanted to make a move on them. I like my job and it isn't worth making a move and risking it.
Massages can be intimate at times, with the dim lighting, warm rooms, calming music, and physical touching. At the end of a session I often see people with a glazed look on their face. They have to take a little time to adjust to reality and come out of their almost hypnotic state. When I see that reaction from my clients I know I did a good job and they enjoyed their time with me.
Helen worked the front desk and greets the guests checking into the spa. She would take their information, ask new guests if they have any pre-existing medical conditions or sore areas that the therapists should know about, and point them to the locker room to change. From there clients will shower, put on a robe, and then either go for a water treatment, or relax in our private waiting area for the therapist to greet them and take them to their massage room.
My last appointment of the day was with a new client for a 90 minute full body massage. There were no notes in the booking system so I checked in with Helen to see if my client had checked in yet. When I walked up to the desk I would tell she had something pressing to tell me.
"Here is your next client's check in notes and release. Her name is Ashley, she is 35 years old, uses a wheelchair, and is missing her legs. She seemed very nice but you might want to check with her and see what kind of treatment she wants. She said she has had massage treatments in the past. When I asked if there were any sensitive areas or pre existing injuries she said other than my legs no, but she does want a full body massage."
This was the first time I would be working with a patient with an amputation. My heart was pounding and I was instantly excited and nervous at the same time. I played it cool with Helen and tried my best to not act too excited. I walked into my massage room and gathered my thoughts before stepping out to greet my client. I have always had a thing for amputees and had fantasized about this very situation in the past.
I opened the door to the waiting room and saw Ashley sitting in her wheelchair next to the chairs most clients wait in. She was wearing our white robe that covered her body and draped over the front of her wheelchair. She had light blonde hair that was tied up in a cute updo. She had a beautiful thin face with big blue eyes and flushed red cheeks. She looked a lot like Juliana Hough with rosey cheeks. From what I could tell through her robe she had a nice figure and the belt from the robe was tied tightly across her small waist. As I walked up to her I reached my hand out and said, "You must be Ashley. I am Nick and I'll be giving you your massage today."
As I walked toward her she propped herself up in her chair and gave me a big smile. Her handshake was soft and her skin was very smooth. She had small and delicate hands that my hand swallowed up. I sat down next to her and wanted to ask a few more questions before getting started. "You are booked for a 90 minute full body massage. Are there any areas in particular that you would like me to work on or not work on? And do you have any injuries that I should be aware of?"
"As you can tell, I am a double leg amputee. I had them amputated over ten years ago after an accident. All of my injuries are fully healed. I occasionally use prosthetics but most days I use my wheelchair. It would be great to work my neck, back, shoulders, and arms since they get used quite a bit. Also, if you feel comfortable, you can massage my legs just like anyone else's legs. They can get sore when I use my prosthetics and I will rub my muscles to relax. Would that be ok?" She said in her beautiful soft, high toned voice.
"Absolutely, thank you for the information and back story, that helps me a lot." I said.
