"Are you fucking kidding me David!?" Emma's scream echoed throughout her home as she spoke to her husband, who was packing for a long business trip.
"It will only be for a week, love, besides you know how much money I always make on these extended trips" David did his best to diffuse his rather upset wife. Emma was a tall pale skinned woman with long black hair, her eyes were a dark brown color that, when she was angry, would look almost black. In many ways she was the opposite of David, he was a short and scrawny man, with bright blond hair and deep blue eyes. The two had been married for years, they started out as highschool sweethearts, with Emma being thirty nine now and David being forty one.
"I don't care David, you're always gone. I mean...this is your third business trip just this month." David turned to his wife, sighing softly as he stood up and walked over to her. He took her hands in his own and looked up into her eyes.
"Emma, you know I love you but...this is part of my job and you have known that ever since we got married. I have to go" Emma looked down at her husband, heart broken. She did care deeply for him, but deep down she was lonely, perhaps if she had known just how much he would be gone, she would have made different choices. Alast she knew she would not be able to talk him out of it so she gave up.
"Ok David but...you're taking me out when you get back" She faked a smile to help him not worry about her. David laughed softly and nodded as a response before closing his suitcase. He zipped it up and lifted it off their bed, before walking out of their bedroom and down the stairs. Emma followed behind until they both made it to their front door, she opened it for him, before stepping back.
Before David stepped outside he kissed her cheek, then as he began walking out toward his car he called back to her "Oh! Mark said he would be staying at a friend's house tonight dear!"
"Ok dear, be safe and try not to work too hard!" WIth that David got in his car and drove off, Emma watched until his car was out of view before sighing softly "I guess it is just me tonight" Emma slowly closed the door, both her husband and her son Mark were gone, which made the house feel quiet and empty. She walked over to the living room wanting to find something, anything to keep her mind off of how empty her house was. Until her eyes finally rested on a large brown box in the corner of the room. It was a tv mount for the wall, one that she was supposed to remind her husband or son to set up for her. "Fuck...." She said to herself, gently face palming. The TV was already taken off its original stand so she needed it to be mounted.
She had no idea of how to put the mount together but knew she wouldn't be watching TV until it was done. She started brainstorming what to do until a pit started to form in her stomach. She did know of one person she could ask, the last person that she wanted to ask. Max
Max woke up early that same morning, slowly rolling out of bed he yawned loudly. He stood up stretching a bit as he walked into his bathroom, Max was a rather short man, standing at only about 5'4, his body was rather slender and feminine especially for a guy, coupled with his age, 21, most people assumed he was still a teenager. As young as Max was he lived on his own in a house neighboring Emma's, who he knew very well.
Max entered the shower, singing softly to himself as he washed his hair and his body. When he finished in the shower Max got dressed, sliding on his jeans and a black t-shirt, with a secret underneath, a bright white pair of tighty whities, as the bullies he had dealt with in school aptly nicknamed. Max walked down his stairs toward his kitchen when a soft knock came to his door, he turned to look at the door confused, he wasn't expecting company today. He slightly shrugged before walking over to his front door, he opened it and widened his eyes in surprise. Standing at his front was Emma, with a soft red blush on her face, she was looking off to the side as if not wanting to look Max in the eye. Now Max was used to her acting this way as they had a strange relationship. Max had moved in almost a year ago and in that time he had been constantly flirting with her, much to her annoyance as she had always responded by shutting down any and all advances but he never stopped trying. Max slowly looked her up and down, his eyes admiring her body and outfit as she was wearing a beautiful red button up shirt with the top three buttons undone, which showed off her ample breast fairly well, her black skirt which hugged her perfect curves and reached the middle of her thigh.
"Oh, Ms. Emma! To what do I owe such a special visit from such a beautiful lady?" As Max asked this, he smirked and let his eyes gaze back up at her face.
"Oh, hush, Max, I do not have time for your annoying flirting...I'm here...because I... need your help." Emma refused to hold his gaze, her eyes darting to him and then away. She was a proud woman, which meant she hated admitting she needed help, especially from him.
Max grinned happily as he heard her reason for being on his doorstep. "Oh? you want my help? Well of course beautiful, how can I be of service?" As he asked this she rolled her eyes before answering "W..well I need my tv mounted but my husband just left and my son won't be home tonight so I need help"
