Chapter 1
The park was lively that Sunday. Couples were everywhere in the late August sunshine, strolling together, talking, holding hands, cuddling, kissing, making the most of the dying embers of a summer that had never really delivered. Children laughed and played, families relaxed together. All seemed right with the world....their world. I walked amongst them, a man in his forties, unheralded, unnoticed. Nothing special, nothing to see.
I carried a bag. Inside, a book, a mobile phone. Also in the bag, some clothes. Jeans, a shirt, pumps, a bra and black lace knickers. And a purse. The purse was full. Keys, phone, money, credit cards. All there. The cards weren't in my name.
I carried on walking, circling the park, watching the happiness, the normality. Everyone seemed to have someone. Even those who walked alone gave off an air of contentment, of having someone waiting for them. Someone who would be pleased to see them appear.
But today I too had someone waiting for me. She wasn't far away but I was in no hurry. I knew she would be pleased to see me. Maybe even overjoyed. And I knew she would wait for me, no matter how long I took.. She would have to....unless someone else untied her first.
Chapter 2
Hannah's arm was aching badly. He could have at least tied her more comfortably! He'd chosen a place where the branches of two large trees intertwined. Close enough to the edge of the thicket that she could see out into the open area clearly. And, she assumed, where she could be seen if someone looked closely enough. Her arms were stretched out, one twisted awkwardly to reach an overhanging branch. Her legs were spread, the ropes pulling them apart to reveal her sex, brazenly. And there was someone coming. When she'd agreed to being tied up she'd thought her legs would be tied together, not to two different trees. With the sound coming closer she was painfully aware not just of her nudity, but of her vulnerability. She hated her breasts, her bum too, and now she could do nothing to cover them. She hoped it was Dean whose footsteps she could hear getting closer, She must have been here nearly an hour now. She thought that couple who had been sitting down nearby had already seen her. She could swear the woman looked at her then said something to her man. He'd looked over and laughed and after a while they had left. Would they call the Police? Hell...someone was in the bushes with her...and it wasn't Dean.
