I was fidgeting in my desk chair, watching the clock in the corner of my computer screen in anticipation. I had a client coming in soon, and something about him always left me with a wet pooling between my legs, even though we only ever discussed insurance-related matters. Sometimes after he'd leave the office, I'd go home and lay on my couch and imagine him coming in the door to have his way with me. Those thoughts wouldn't help me right now, as I heard the door chime and his footsteps approaching my door.
"Hi Terren! Early as always," I said in my customer service voice. I stood to shake his hand and motion for him to sit.
"Oh you know I can't resist seeing your beautiful smile Dani," he said with a wink as he shut the office door behind him and drops into the chair..
I try and fail to keep the blush from creeping up my neck as I sit back down, turning to the computer screen. I pull up his file and begin my preamble when he cuts me off.
"I'm not here to talk about insurance with you today, actually. It's a bit more...personal."
"You...what?" I say haltingly, confused and a bit nervous now.
"I had a feeling I'd never run into you in town, so this was the easiest way to get some of your time," he shared, still relaxed in his seat across from me.
I waited for him to continue, his amused face taking in my bewilderment. When I realize he isn't saying anything else at the moment, I try to prompt him.
"And why do you need a block of my time...? Seemingly badly enough to take up office time?" I'm going for a bit haughty and irritated, finding that I am in fact annoyed that this man is cornering me in my own workplace.
"I hope you didn't think I haven't noticed the looks you give me when I come in here. The flushing, the way you always touch your neck, the fact that you always seem to get warm and have to put your hair up. I can tell you want more of my attention than you let on."
He leans forward a bit now, and I lean back in response, utterly at a loss. I don't know what to say but try to rebut anyway.
"Terren this is wildly inappropriate, and I'm going to need you to leave now." I get up and start to walk past him to open the door. "We can discuss moving your files to another agent lat-" He'd grabbed my wrist as I walked past him and stood, backing me into the wall, his body surrounding mine.
"Inappropriate, sure. But I'm not wrong. You wore the shorter pencil skirt today, and heels. You wanted to show off for me a little bit, it's okay to admit it." He traces a finger across my collarbone and up my neck, pushing up on my chin so I meet his stare...it's all I can do to keep my legs from shaking, even as the heat blooms in my lower belly.
The heat must have reached my eyes because he smiled fully then. I open my mouth to say something but my throat has dried up. He takes the moment to slam his mouth onto mine, slipping his tongue against my own. The surprise of it knocks me off kilter and i start to kiss him back, melding into him before my sense of self returns and I pull my face away.
"Terren...no," I shake my head to regain some modicum of rational thought. "Absolutely not. Leave, now, or I'll scream for Nick to come help me."
