Meanwhile, Hazel, Dean's former personal assistant had always been open about wanting to bed him, and in light of her proposal for facilitating the Langley Circle project, it was high time that she got to meet Beth to discuss both topics.

Season Two, Episode Twenty-One
Beth sat in the cosy booth, gazing out across the busy bar. There was quite a crowd in for a Wednesday. Not that she was a regular here, but midweek traffic at most city bars tended to range between quiet and morgue. There was no shortage of life here tonight though.
"Here we go," Dean said, taking a seat opposite and sliding the double vodka and Red Bull across the table towards her. He cocked an eyebrow. "Nervous?"
Beth took a long drink, wincing at the sweetness; the first of the night always set her teeth tingling. "What makes you think that?"
"You were twisting your wedding ring. You generally do that when you're nervous."
She hadn't realised she did that. A warm sensation filled her chest; how lovely that he knew her so well. Then again, the warm feeling could also be the vodka.
She smiled. "A little, yes. I'm not really sure why."
Dean averted his eyes, taking a long pull from his beer. Beth snorted softly; he didn't need to point out that the reason for her nerves might be the apparent business acumen, beauty and sex appeal of the woman they were here to meet. She probably wouldn't have taken too kindly to him suggesting that, mainly because it was true. She wasn't sure why it was affecting her, but the prospect of meeting Hazel filled her with self-doubt and triggered a bunch of insecurities. It was probably the fact that Hazel had been completely honest about finding Dean attractive, and wanting to go to bed with him; yeah, that would probably be it.
She frowned. "Is this how you felt when you first learnt about Megan?"
Dean's attention snapped back to her; he spent a long moment considering the question before answering. "I guess so yeah." There was a look of surprised realisation on his face. "I can see how you might be nervous then, but whatever happens, we'll get through it. Hopefully she'll be a good fit for the business, and as for anything else... we'll take it one step at a time." He reached across the table to take her hand, running his fingers over the gold band on her ring finger. "You've got this, I totally trust your judgement, and we'll make the decisions... all the decisions, together."
Beth smiled, the nerves fading away. He was right. This was their idea, their business, their marriage, and she shouldn't be worried.
"In other news," he said with a smirk, "you're looking particularly fine this evening. I've always found that trouser suit very sexy, and don't think I didn't notice the boots."
She grinned broadly. Her "hubby come fuck me boots" never failed to get his attention. She had initially thought the suit perhaps a bit much, but didn't want to risk looking under dressed, despite the plan for the evening being social, or at least mostly social. The confidence flowed back into her as he glanced under the table. She pivoted her feet on the kitten heels, showing off the footwear. Perhaps she'd wear them to bed tonight, maybe with the black lace underwear and stockings, or simply nothing at all. Heat rose to her face as she was assaulted by a mental image of her lying on her back, legs up by her ears, the heels of her boots digging into his chest as he pounded into her.
"She's here." Dean's voice popped the image.
Beth searched the room, initially not seeing Hazel, but on the second pass, she spotted her, and instantly her confidence took a knock. Hazel wasn't wearing business attire. The voluptuous blonde was wearing skinny jeans, a tight top and a cardigan hanging loose and baggy around her waist. She looked fresh, casual and like every guys dream of the nymphomaniac girl from next door. The kind of girl who came round to borrow a bowl of sugar, and ended up on all fours squealing into a pillow half an hour later.
Beth took a deep breath; she had nothing to worry about, Stick to the plan. She was Confident, professional, and she and Dean were holding all the cards. Be friendly, but stay cool.
Hazel finally spotted them; she flashed a smile and indicated she was going to grab a drink. As she disappeared back into the crowd, Beth turned to Dean.
"Did you say casual?"
Dean frowned. "I didn't say anything; I simply agreed to meet you here. You arranged it with Hazel, remember?"
She bit her lip. That was true. She couldn't remember now if she had said anything about dress, but then again why would she; it was only a chat and a drink.
"She's looking gorgeous of course." Beth rolled her eyes as she spoke.
Dean shrugged and offered an awkward smile.
"Hi you two." Hazel smiled broadly as she placed her drink down. Beth stood to receive the hug and cheek kisses. "So good to finally meet you Beth. I do so love your suit, and oh my god, those boots are darling. Are they D&G?"
Beth couldn't hold back the smile. "Yes they are. I've had them for ages, but can't bear to part with them; Besides, Dean likes them," she said with a nod in his direction.
Hazel nodded. "Say no more. Sorry for the dress down, it's been a challenging wardrobe day at the office." She bobbed her eyebrows at Beth before turning away. "Hi Dean, how are you, how's Sven working out?"
Beth retook her seat as Hazel embraced Dean, squeezing him tightly and pecking him on the cheek. Beth had been mentally preparing herself to bristle at first contact, but found she wasn't irked by it at all. The hug also made Dean blush and babble, which made Beth giggle. He tried to hide his awkwardness by hurriedly sitting down and picking up his drink.
"Er... yeah, Sven is... well, Sven is a marvel of efficiency if I'm honest. I still think he might be an android, but I can't fault his work ethic."
"I might not have been as efficient, but I like to think I have other assets," Hazel said with a smirk as she shrugged off her cardigan and took a seat.
